Hilda Aponte Cassulis Carruth

Funeral services for Hilda Aponte Cassulis Carruth, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Sunday from 6 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carruth, 77, died Feb. 17, 2012, at Brook Manor Nursing Home. She was born icon in New York on June 1, 1934, to Florencio and Casta Miranda Aponte.

She retired in the medical field as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, Michael Aponte.

Survivors are her sons, Jimmy Cassulis and wife, Abbey, and Ted Cassulis and wife, Cindy; daughters, Cindie Chambers and husband, Jim, Christina Puritis and husband, Michael, and Hilda Maniscalco and husband, Craig; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Bobby Kelly Leonard

Mr. Bobby Kelly Leonard, 71, of Brookhaven died on November 10, 2009 at his residence.

He was born icon on Dec. 21, 1937 to Robert Lee Leonard and Alice Lee Kent Leonard.

He was retired after 33 years from Co-Lin Community College as a Diesel & Heavy Equipment Mechanic Instructor.

He served in the U.S. National Guard and was a member of Central Baptist Church and also The Homochitto Beagle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Leonard and his brothers Clifton & Doug Leonard.

His is survived by his wife, Jane Wallace Leonard; his daughters, Tanya Merrell and husband Scott and Leigh Ann Martin and husband Randy His four grandchildren, Alex and Andrew Merrell and Taylor and Dawson Martin He is also survived by a host of other family members and close friend and caregiver Marilyn Beeson.

Memorials can be made to the Christian Hospice Ministries or the Central Baptist Church Building Fund.

Ricky David Thibodeaux

Mr. Ricky David Thibodeaux, 51, died November 17, 2009, at his residence. He was born icon on December 18, 1957, to Richard J. Thibodeaux and Louise Kimble Thibodeaux.

He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. He was also a member of John A. Galbreath Lodge #334, Brookhaven Lodge #241, the Builders Chapter #354 of the Order of the Easter Star.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Versie and Bertha Kimble, his paternal grandparents, Alex and Ouida Thibodeaux, and a brother, Jeffrey “Tadpole” Thibodeaux.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Thibodeaux; his parents, Richard J. Thibodeaux and Louise Kimble Thibodeaux; his daughters, Candace Thibodeaux of Hattiesburg, and Mercedes Rickki Thibodeaux of Brookhaven; his brother, James “Beaux” Thibodeaux of Brookhaven; his sister, Debbie Jones of Brookhaven; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Silvia Greer Williams

Silvia Greer Williams, 74, of Meadville, MS, passed away in Natchez on November 19, 2009.

She was born icon in Boyle, MS. May 11, 1935, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. L.T. Greer.

She was graduated from Pearl High School and Mississippi College with a degree in Elementary Education and Music.

Silvia taught in the public schools of Yazoo City, Meridian, and Ferriday, LA, where she met and married icon her husband, Ray “Pete” Williams.

They moved to North Platte, Nebraska where she taught until her retirement.

In 2008, the Lord led Silvia and Pete back to Mississippi, where they continued to serve the Lord with gladness at the Meadville Baptist Church.

Silvia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Pete Williams, step-daughter Angel Lindsey and husband Terry.

And two step-grandchildren, Rachel and Mac Lindsey of Vidalia, La.

She is also survived by one sister, Pauline Greer Corban and husband Mickey of Pearl, MS.

And one brother, Billy Greer and wife Carolyn of Vicksburg, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Raymond “Butch” Greer.

Silvia was a devoted Christian and served her Lord with her musical talents wherever she lived.

A memorial service to honor Silvia Williams will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov, 24, at the Meadville Baptist Church.

Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Meadville Baptist Church Bus Fund, P.O. Box 369, Meadville, Ms. 39653.

Louise B. Gill

Mrs. Louise B. Gill, 87, died at her residence.

She was born icon on August 3, 1922, to Bennett T. Brown and Trudy Mae Brown.

She was a seamstress.

She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in Braxton.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bennett and Trudy Brown, a son, James E. Gill; a daughter, Martha McCaffery; a brother, and her two sisters.

Survivors are a son, Jerry L. Gill, of Brookhaven; her daughters, Carolyn Cook, of Georgia, Peggy Harper, of Brookhaven, Lorraine Creel, Sarah Bales and Gloria J. Miller, all of Bogue Chitto, her 38 grandchildren; her 45 great-grandchildren; and her 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Raymond Ratcliff

Mr. Raymond Ratcliff, 85, died November 6, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.

He was born icon on September 3, 1924, to Lucious Ratcliff and Gladys Carney Ratcliff Callihan.

He was a retired postmaster.

He was a member of Powell’s Grove Pentecostal Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and Korean Conflict.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lucious Ratcliff and Gladys Carney Ratcliff Callihan; his step father, Hoyle Callihan; his brother, Ralph Ratcliff; and his son, Kenneth Max Ratcliff.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Alexander Ratcliff, of Jayess; his son, Donald Ratcliff and wife, Bobbie, of Jayess; his daughters Robin Walllace and husband Tim, and Carol Gerald and husband Johnny, all of Jayess, and Bonnie Robbins McGee and husband Nathan of Denham Springs, La; his grandchildren, Erica Robbins Taylor, Jeremy Robbins, Candace Robbins Pitts, Dusty Ratcliff Barnett, Danielle Ratcliff Livingston, Austin Gerald, John Dalton Gerald, Erin Gerald, Blair Wallace and Jessie Wallace; and his great-grandchildren, Zachary Taylor, Lindsey Taylor, Reagan Taylor, Madalyn Taylor, Braeden Barnett, Drew Barnett and Melanie Livingston.

Mr. Samuel A. Lee

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Tuesday, November 12th at 10 am in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Samuel A. Lee age 69 of Chalmette, La. who died Thursday, November 7th in the Ochsner Foundation Hospital, New Orleans, La .

BURIAL will be in the Catahoula cemetery under the direction of the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Ms.

A Native of Picayune, Ms. he was a Supervisor at a Oil Refinery and a member of the St. Bernard Baptist Church..

Survivors include: One Son: Wayne Lee of Chalmette, La., One Daughter: Mavis Scarcello of Ft. Worth, Tx., One Brother: Clarence Lee of Bienville Community, Three Sisters: Lilly Blackwell of Bienville Community, Lorene Necaise of Gulfport, Ms. and Pauline Chandler of Sumrall, Ms. and Three Grandchildren

A Visitation will be held Monday, November 11th from 6 until 9pm in the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Ms.

Mrs. Mary S. Wagoner

MEMORIAL FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Wednesday, January 8th at 10 am in the St. Paul Episcopal Church for Mrs. Mary S. Wagoner age 70 of Carriere, Ms. who died Sunday, December 5th in the Crosby Memorial Hospital, in Picayune, Ms.

THE Rev. Fr. Jay Breisch will officiate at the service, assisted by Mother Shelia Fellhauer and Father Brian Seage.

A Native of Texas she was an English Professor at the University of New Orleans for 25 years and lived in New Orleans, La. from 1963 until 1977.

Survivors include: Two sons: William "Larry" Lawrence Wagoner of Carriere, MS, and Charles Bradley Wagoner of Cleveland, MS, One Daughter: Mary Lauren Starr of Milton, Fl., One Sister: Robbie S. Compton of Victoria, Tx., Three Grandchildren

A Visitation will be held THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION.

Mr. Walter Clifton Black, Sr.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Thursday, February 13th at 10 am in the Lee Chapel No. 1 Baptist Church for Mr. Walter Clifton Black, Sr. age 74 of Carriere, Ms. who died Tuesday, February 11th in Carriere, Ms

Burial will be in the Lee's Chapel No. 1 cemetery.

THE Rev. Harry Burge will officiate at the service assisted by the Rev. Donnie Boutwell

A Native of Camp Rolland, Ms. he was a Retired Staff Sergeant in the United States Army where he served for 22 1/2 years. He also served in the Vietnam and Korean Wars and a Member of the Central Baptist Church in McNeill, Ms.

Survivors include: His Wife: Virginia Black of Carriere, MS, Three sons: Walter C. Black, Jr. of Carriere, MS, Terry L. Black of Tallassee, Al., and Kevin D. Black of Bogalusa, La., One Sister: Maggie Landry of Lansing, MI., Two Brothers: James Black of Lansing, MI. and Willie D. Black of Albuquerque, NM., (8) Grandchildren Two Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12th from 6 until 9pm. in the McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Ms. and from 9 until 10 am on Thursday in the Lee's Chapel No. 1 Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bobbie Ruth Lee

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Saturday, June 15th at 10 am in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Bobbie Ruth Lee age 75 of McComb, Ms. (formerly of Henleyfield) who died Friday, June 13th in the Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

BURIAL will be in the Henleyfield cemetery.

A Native of Lumberton, Ms. she was a Retired School Teacher in the Thomas and Henleyfield Community and a member of the First Baptist Church of Henleyfield.

Mrs. Bobbie Ruth Lee is survived by: One Daughter: Teresa Ann Lomax and Son-in-Law: Barry Lomax of Summit, MS, Two Grandchildren: Lydia and Grandson-in-law: Ron Rhodus of Tylertown, MS, and Holly and Grandson-in-Law: Corey Roberts of McComb, Ms. One Brother: M.L. "Buck" Landrum of Lumberton, Ms.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Douglas V. Lee and Brother C. J. "Pete" Landrum.

VISITATION will be Friday, June 14th from 6 until 9pm in the McDonald Funeral Home.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Tuesday, November 12th at 1 pm in the First Baptist Church for Mr. Terry Scott Bean age 31 of Picayune, Ms. who died Saturday, November 9th in the Picayune, Ms.

BURIAL will be in the New Palestine cemetery, Picayune, Ms.

The Rev. Dr. Bill Hardin will officiate at the service.

A Native of Jackson, Ms. he was a Security Officer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Picayune, Ms.

Survivors include: Mother: Ginger Bean of Picayune, MS, Father: Terry Bean of Pass Christian, MS, Two sons: Caleb Bean and Cole Bean of Picayune, MS, His Maternal Grandmother: Joyce Goetzmann and Paternal Grandmother: Cleo Bean both of Picayune, MS, and Two Brothers: Jamie Bean of Bay St. Louis, MS, and Ken Bean of Picayune, Ms.

VISITATION will be Tuesday, November 12th from 11 am until 1 pm in the First Baptist Church of Picayune, Ms.

Mrs. Nobia Ethel Baucum

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Monday, December 30th at 11am in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Nobia Ethel Baucum age 87 of Carriere, Ms. who died Saturday, December 28th in Carriere, Ms.

BURIAL will be in the Sones Chapel cemetery, McNeil, Ms.

The Rev. Ken Walters will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. Wayne Rice and the Rev. Dan Malone.

A Native of Ceasar, Ms. she was a Homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: four sons: Norvin Baucum of Poplarville, Mississippi, Travis Baucum of Carriere, MS, J.W. Baucum of Picayune, MS, Dwight Baucum of Picayune, MS, (7) Daughters: Josie Westbrook of Picayune, MS, Betty Salter of Pascagoula, MS, Mary Hobgood of Poplarville, MS, Ruth McCardle of Picayune, MS, Rita Stewart of Carriere, MS, Diane Lee of Picayune, MS, and Loretta Nichols of Carriere, MS, (25) Grandchildren and (25) Great Grandchildren

VISITATION will be Sunday, December 29th from 6-9 pm in the McDonald Funeral home in Picayune, Mississippi.
