She was preceded in death by her Father: James W. Barnes.

Burial: will be in the Sones Chapel cemetery.

A NATIVE of Picayune, MS, she was Teacher at Picayune High School and a former Teacher at Pearl River Central High School and was a member of the Sones Chapel Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Husband: Charles Easterling, Mother: Louise Penton, One Daughter: Manthie Hayes Lumpkin all of Carriere, MS, Two Brothers: Aubrey Penton, Jr. of Siloam, North Carolina and Roy Penton, Sr. of Spruce Pine, North Carolina One Sister: Sue Spence of Carriere, MS, Four Step sons: Sean Easterling, Shane Easterling, Shae Easterling and Shadd Easterling all of Picayune, MS, Numerous Nieces and Nephews

Visitation: will be held Thursday, October 24th from 6pm until 10 pm in the McDonald Funeral Home and Friday October 25th from 1 until 2pm at the Sones Chapel Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
