Mrs. Mary Yvonne Carroll

Funeral Services: will be held Sunday, October 6th at 2pm in the Roseland Park Baptist Church for Mrs. Mary Yvonne Carroll age 80 of Picayune, Mississippi who died Wednesday, October 2nd, 2002 in Picayune, Mississippi.

Burial: will be in the New Palestine cemetery.

She was a NATIVE of Picayune, MS,

SHE was School Teacher and a member of the Roseland Park Baptist Church.

Her Survivors include: Three Sons: John Carroll, James Carroll, Dennis Carroll all of Picayune, MS, One Daughter: Melanie Torgersen of Nicholson, MS, Three Brothers: Daryl Mitchell of Gulfport, MS, Carl Mitchell of San Antonio, Tex., and Ronnie Mitchell of Picayune, MS, Three Sisters: Sylvia Mitchell, Dot Mitchell both of Picayune, MS, and Beth Cooley of Gulfport, MS, (11) Grandchildren (10) Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by One Daughter: Linnie Fay Mitchell

Visitation: will be: Saturday, October 5th from 6 until 9 pm in the McDonald Funeral Home and Sunday October 6th from 1:30 pm till 2 pm at the church.

Mrs. Katherine Harris

Funeral Services: will be held Saturday, October 5th at 1 pm in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Katherine Harris age 81 of Picayune, MS, who died Tuesday, October 1st, 2002 in Her Home.

Burial: will be in the New Palestine cemetery.

Kenneth Gueho will officiate at the service.

A Native of Picayune, MS, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Algiers.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Elizabeth Harris of Baton Rouge, LA, One Brother: Janie Vincent of Perkinston, MS, Two Grandchildren Three Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris was proceeded in death by Her Husband: M. W. "Bill" Harris.

Visitation: will be Saturday, October 5th from 10 am until 1pm in the McDonald Funeral Home.

Mrs. Helen Archer

Funeral Services: will be held Saturday, November 30th at 2 pm in the Central Baptist Church in McNeill, MS, for Mrs. Helen Archer age 80 of McNeill, MS, who died Monday, November 25th, 2002 in Crosby Memorial Hospital, Picayune, Mississippi.

Burial: will be in the Henleyfield cemetery.

Rev. Bill Galloway will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. William Gary Smith.

A Native of Pearl River County, MS, she was a Homemaker and a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Patty Archer LaJca and Three sons: Bill Archer, Jr., Keith Archer and Bruce Archer all of McNeill, MS, Three Brothers: L.W. Stegall, Jr., of Baton Rouge, LA, Bill and Mickey Stegall both of Picayune, MS, One Sister: Mary Lou Banta of Diamondhead, MS, (7) Grandchildren (17) Great Grandchildren

Visitation: will be Friday, November 29 from 6 - 9pm in the McDonald Funeral Home and Saturday from 1 until 2pm at the Central Baptist Church in McNeill, MS,

Mr. Melvin Arvil Shaw

Funeral Services: will be held Sunday, February 16th at 10 am in the Catahoula Baptist Church for Mr. Melvin Arvil Shaw age 68 of Picayune, MS, who died Friday, February 14th, 2002 in Picayune, MS,

Burial: will be in the Catahoula cemetery.

A Native of Hancock County, MS, he was a Heavy Equipment Operator and a member of the Catahoula Baptist Church.

Survivors include: His Wife: Irene Shaw of Picayune, MS, One Son: Melvin E. Shaw, One Step - Daughter: Peggy Shaw of Perkinston, MS, both of Perkinston, MS, and Three Step - sons: Larmon Bilbo, Larry Joe Bilbo and Keith Bilbo all of Picayune, MS, Two Brother's: Gerald Edwin Shaw of Perkinston, MS, and John Gaston Shaw of Covington, LA, One Sister: Telodia Shaw of Perkinston, MS, (10 ) Grandchildren (7) Great Grandchildren.
