Archie L. Porter, age 89 of Picayune, MS, who died Monday, February 1st, 2004 in Northshore Regional Medical Center, Slidell, La. was a native of Pearl River, La.. He was a Retired Custodian for the Postal Service, a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and a member of served in the U.S. Army in WWII as a Paratrooper.
Survivors Include: His Wife: Maggie Porter of Picayune, MS, Two sons: James S. Porter of Clinton, MS, and Thomas E. Porter of Picayune, MS, Two Brother's: Oscar Porter of Baton Rouge, LA, and Walter Porter of Beaumont, Tx. and One Sister: Mildred Glosip of Baton Rouge, La. and Three Grandchildren.
