GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangements for Curtis Washington Sr., 65, of Greenville are pending at Watson-Edwards & Evans Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Jan. 25, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville.

Williams

LELAND — Funeral services for Booker T. "BaBo" Williams, 66, of Leland will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Pilgrim Home MB Church, Leland. He died Jan. 24, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home MB Church Cemetery under the direction of Dillon Funeral Home, Leland.

Booker T. Williams was born to Dessie Warren Pinkney and the late Rollie Williams on March 23, 1935. He was preceded in death by his father, Rollie Williams; three brothers, Fred Pinkney, Jimmy Pinkney and Leroy Pinkney; and one sister, Evelyn Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving mother, Dessie Ree Pinkney of Chicago; two sisters, Deloris Pinkney of Chicago and Juanita (George) Wright of Greenville; two brothers, Eddie (Dorothy) Pinkney Jr. of Chicago and Gregary Williams of Texas; a loving aunt, Mary Fox of Greenville; an uncle, Charlie Ware; many cousins who loved and cherished him as a brother; and a host of friends and loved ones.

GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Lon Jordan Williams, 79, of Smithfield, Va., and formerly of Greenville are pending at Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville. He died of heart failure Jan. 24, 2002, at his residence.

ROSEDALE — Funeral services for Tom Williams, 54, of Rosedale will be at 1 p.m. today at C.A. Burke Memorial Church, Rosedale. He died Jan. 23, 2002, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Rosedale, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

Collins

GREENVILLE -- Funeral services for David Charles Collins Jr., 75, of Greenville will be Monday at noon at New Hope First Baptist Church, Greenville. He died Aug. 22, 2001, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

He was sole proprietor of the House of Progress Barber Shop on Nelson Street.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Mae Collins of Greenville; three sons, Robert (Elona) Collins of Spring Valley, N.Y., David (Cora) Collins of Willingburg, N.J., and Greg Kinard Collins of Greenville; five daughters, Audrey Mae Collins of Memphis, Debra (Jerome) Walker and Eunice (James) Gaskin, both of Greenville, Denise (Gregory) Robertson of Yazoo City and Alma Reed of Vista, Calif.; one sister, LuBertha Collins (Willie) O'Neal of Chicago; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a special niece, Erma (Ethan) Crayton of South Holland, Ill.; a special cousin and close friend, Adell (Alvora) Wright of Delaware; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be today from 1 to 5 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. The remains will lie in state at the church Monday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Rev. Robert E. Kimble is pastor of the church. Dr. Jerry Young will officiate.

Harris

INDIANOLA -- Funeral services for Adrein "Coo Coo" Yolanda Harris, 24, of Indianola will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Persimmon Grove MB Church, Sunflower. She died Aug. 22, 2001, at her home. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Garden, Indianola, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

Survivors include her father, Frankie Harris of Indianola; her mother, Thelma J. Harris of Indianola; one daughter, Alicia B. Harris of Indianola; her maternal grandmother, Jessie Mae Hemphill Lewis of Milwaukee; one sister, Elizabeth Coleman of Jackson; two brothers, Willie Coleman of Jackson and Warren Dewayne Harris Sr. of Milwaukee; six aunts, Dorothy Wigley and Cora Lewis, both of Milwaukee, Betty Harris of Florida, Hester Smith and Pakeitha Washington, both of Texas, and Velma Burley of Silver City; five uncles, Charles Lewis, Bennie Hemphill and Jimmy Harris, all of Indianola, Dennis Hemphill of Milwaukee and Robert Harris of Silver City; two great-aunts, Mary Ann Alexander of Milwaukee and Annie B. Spencer of Sikeston, Mo.; two special nieces, Mikayla Coleman of Jackson and Shaquanna Harris of Milwaukee; and one special nephew, Warren Dewayne Harris Jr. of Milwaukee.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

The Rev. Terry Cobbs will officiate.

Reed

MAYERSVILLE -- Funeral services for Willie "Little Jack" Reed Jr., 59, of Mayersville, a farmer, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Baptist Church, Mayersville. He died Aug. 22, 2001, at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson. Burial will be in St. Peter Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Watson-Edwards & Evans Funeral Home, Greenville.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Rev. Obadiah Hall will officiate.

Stovall

INDIANOLA -- Funeral services for Lela K. Stovall, 79, of Indianola will be Saturday at Mt. Beulah Church, Indianola. She died Aug. 23, 2001, at her home. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Gardens, Indianola, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

Survivors include four daughters, Victoria Brown, Lottie B. Clay and Lindell King, all of Indianola, and Theresa Davis of Chicago; two sons, Wilson Stovall Jr. of Chicago and John B. Hill of Indianola; and one brother, John Thomas of Jackson.

Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 31, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

The Rev. E.T. Goodman will officiate.

Fisher

BELZONI -- Funeral services for George Scott Fisher, 39, a fish farm manager of Belzoni, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Eastside Baptist Church, Belzoni. He died July 20, 2002, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Jackson. Burial will be at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery, Stoneville, under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Belzoni.

He was born in Leland, Miss., and he was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Belzoni.

Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Fisher of Belzoni, Miss.; two daughters, Amber Fisher and Mallory Fisher, both of Belzoni; two sons, Taylor Fisher and Black Fisher, both of Belzoni; parents, Charles and Georgia Fisher of Leland, Miss.; a sister, Ann Godwin of Starkville, Miss.; a grandmother, Margaret Fisher of Shreveport, La.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, the Rev. Charles and Fay Burton of Crystal Springs, Miss.

The Revs. Kevin Griffin, Jon Doler and Richard Wiman will officiate.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Mortimer Funeral Home, Belzoni.

Ford

GUNNISON -- Funeral services for Linda Ford, 51, of Chicago and formerly of Gunnison, will be today at 11:30 a.m. at Gospel Temple Church, Rosedale. She died July 12, 2002, at her home. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery, Gunnison, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Shelby.

Her son, Robert L. "Ray" Ford died July 13, 2002, in Chicago.

Survivors include one daughter, Monique Ford of Chicago; nine brothers, Edward (Vera) Ford, Zebedee (Issabella) Ford, Aaron Ford, Emanuel (Latarya) Ford and Tannie (Glinda) Ford, all of Gunnison, Freddie Ford, Alfred Ford and Elvis (Beatrice) Ford, all of St. Louis, Mo., and Fred (Marie) Ford of Milwaukee; one sister, Olliestene (Alvin) Davenport of St. Louis, Mo.; a special companion, Levi Gipson Sr. of Chicago; one stepson, Levi Gipson Jr. of Chicago; one stepdaughter, Sanetta Gipson of Chicago; one stepgranddaughter, Brianna Gipson of Chicago; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

Ford

GUNNISON -- Funeral services for Robert L. "Ray" Ford, 32, of Chicago and formerly of Gunnison will be today at 11:30 a.m. at Gospel Temple Church, Rosedale. He died July 13, 2002, at his home. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery, Gunnison, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Shelby.

His mother, Linda Ford, preceded him in death July 12, 2002, in Chicago.

Survivors include one sister, Monique Ford of Chicago; and two sons, Jonathan Ford of Decatur, Ill., and Ryan Ford of Memphis.

The Rev. Andrew Williams III will officiate.
