BENOIT -- Funeral services for Rickey Leslie, 48, of Benoit, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Stone MB Church, Benoit. He died Nov. 21, 2001, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in New Stone MB Church, Benoit, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.

Survivors include his mother, Margaret Leslie of Benoit; 10 brothers, Robert Leslie and Gerald Walker, both of Atlanta, Ga., A.C. Hardy, Calvin Leslie and Wayne Leslie, all of Benoit, Keith Leslie of Beulah, Ronnie Leslie, David Leslie and Charles Ransom, all of Greenville, and James C. Leslie of Lawton, Okla.; and eight sisters, Corene Leslie, Marie Leslie and Patricia Leslie, all of St. Louis, Mo., Irene Leslie Meeks of Cleveland, and Carolyn Leslie Rodgers, Camille Walker, Janice Walker and Sharon (William) Brantley, all of Greenville.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.

The Rev. Calvin Williams will officiate.

Lloyd

MOORHEAD -- Funeral arrangements for Louella Lloyd, 53, of Moorhead, are pending at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola. She died Nov. 28, 2001, at her home.

Morris

GREENVILLE -- Funeral services for Leola Mae Morris, 68, of Greenville, will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Greater Pleasant Green MB Church, Greenville. She died Nov. 28, 2001, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

Survivors include her husband, Ceaser Morris of Greenville; four sons, David Morris and Kenneth Morris, both of Greenville, and Jimmie Morris and Michael Morris, both of LaMarque, Texas; six daughters, C. Lavonne Teague of Atlanta, Ga., Mary Qugusta Walker of St. Louis Mo., and Pamela Woods, Valerie Morris, Linda Morris and Diane Morris, all of Greenville; mother, Derutha Thompson of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be today from 1 to 5 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. The remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The Rev. B.T. Benson will officiate.

Reed

CLEVELAND -- Funeral services for Delores Reed, 47, of Cleveland, will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at St. James Church, Cleveland. She died Nov. 25, 2001, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery, Cleveland, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland.

Survivors include her fiance, James Walls of Cleveland; two sons, Ronald Reed of Atlanta and Marcus Walls of Cleveland; one daughter, April Reed of Cleveland; and five brothers, Robert Williams of Cleveland, Phillip White Jr., James White and Claud White, all of Cleveland, and Gene White of Memphis.

The Rev. Jerry Jackson will officiate.

Sanders

GREENVILLE -- Funeral services for Norah Sanders, 89, of Greenville, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Sisson Chapel of Byas Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Nov. 19, 2001, at Arnold Avenue Nursing Home, Greenville. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greenville.

He is survived by one brother, Virgie Sanders of Ecorse, Mich.; and one niece, Emma Johnson of Greenville.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.

The Rev. J.A. Sills will officiate.

Thompson

SHAW -- Funeral services for Thelma Thompson, 72, of Shaw, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church, Shaw. She died Nov. 25, 2001, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Shaw, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland.

Survivors include her husband, Sam Thompson of Shaw; one son, Sammie Lee Thompson of Indianapolis; two daughters, Dorothy Beckward of Boyle and Frances Lee of Shaw; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland.

The Rev. Jenkins will officiate.

Tyce

SHAW -- Funeral arrangements for Willie Lee Tyce, 59, of Shaw, are pending at Frye Funeral Home, Leland. She died Nov. 29, 2001, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland.

Winder

LELAND -- Funeral services for Hurtic Winder, 77, of Leland, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Beulah Grove MB Church, Leland. She died Nov. 26, 2001, at her home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Wilmot, under the direction of Dillon Funeral Home, Leland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Watt Winder; one daughter, Vera Humphrey; and one sister, Elnora Allen.

Survivors include six daughters, Dottie (Lincoln) Callaway and Katie Winder, both of Leland, Hurtic Diane (Thomas) Michaels of Greenville, Doris Dunn of Riverside, Calif., Janice Daniels of Hattiesburg and Willie Mae Winder of Chicago; five sons, Oliver "O.D." Shanks and Clyde Winder, both of Leland, Willie (Christine) Winder of Frankfort, Germany, George (Josephine) Winder of Sarasota, Fla., and Darry Winder of Memphis; one brother, Will Feltus of Milwaukee; one special sister, Dorothy Hudson of Leland; 45 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and one special godson, Allen "Sonny" Miles of Detroit.

The Rev. L.C. Adley will officiate.

Brantley

INDIANOLA -- Funeral services for Alma Parkerson Brantley, 90, of Indianola, a retired Indianola Police Department dispatcher, will be today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Indianola. She died March 30, 2002, at Indywood Personal Care Home. Burial will be in the Indianola City Cemetery under the direction of Card Funeral Home, Indianola.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and widow of Olin Brantley.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Kerry Franklin Haik of Greenville; a sister, Zuma Johnston of Jackson; a brother, Ray Parkerson of Indianola; and five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.

LaPresto

CLEVELAND -- Funeral services for Dorothy Jeanne McBride LaPresto, 65, of Cleveland, will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home, Cleveland. She died March 30, 2002, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland.

Mrs. LaPresto was born April 7, 1936, in Rosedale to Romie and Lillie Mae McBride. She married Robert James LaPresto on Jan. 26, 1954. She worked for Brother Wilson Insurance Agency and Mid-Delta Heating and Air.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James LaPresto, and a granddaughter, Nancy Lea LaPresto.

Survivors include a son, Robert James LaPresto of Cleveland; two daughters, Beverly LaPresto Fioranelli of Cleveland and Kathryn LaPresto Bowman of Greenville; a brother, Ralph McBride of Fountain, Colo.; four sisters, Jerri Morgan of Belvedere, S.C., Claudia Wheeler of Kenosha, Wis., Etoyle Armstrong of Belzoni and LaBonne Duke of Memphis; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Palmer Home for Children, Columbus.

The Rev. Robert Haney will officiate.

Stringer

INDIANOLA -- Funeral services for Levon Stringer, 62, of Indianola, are pending at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola. He died March 31, 2002, at his home.

Winstead

DODDSVILLE -- Funeral services for Dustin Giles Winstead, 14, a student, of Doddsville will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Eastwood Baptist Church, Indianola. He died March 31, 2002, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, from injuries sustained in a automobile accident. Burial will be in the Roundaway Cemetery, Sunflower County, under the Direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Indianola.

He was lifelong resident of Sunflower County and a member of Eastwood Baptist Church, Indianola. He was a student at Indianola Academy and is preceded in death by two grandfathers, Rudy Winstead and David Huskey.

Survivors include parents, Rickey and Deborah Winstead of Doddsville, and two grandmothers, Maye Winstead and Betty Morgan, both of Greenwood.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mortimer Funeral Home, Indianola.

The Rev. Billy Thomas and Rev. Gayden Harrell will officiate.

Campbell

GREENVILLE — Funeral services for McArthur "Lucky" Campbell, 54, of Greenville will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Greater Hinds Street MB Church, Greenville. He died June 12, 2002, at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

Mr. Campbell was born Jan. 9, 1948, to the late Johnny Baldridge and the late Ruby L. Chambers. He graduated from Coleman High School in 1967. He attended Mississippi Valley State University and Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead. He received a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Cleveland Institute of Technology. He was employed with BellSouth for 30 years as an electronics technician until his time of retirement. He was a dedicated member of the Greater Hinds Street Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cora L. Campbell; his mother, Ruby L. Chambers; and his father, Johnny Baldridge.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Johnny M. Campbell of Greenville; five daughters, Ramona (Rufus) Williams of Memphis, and Cassandra (Keith) King, Victoria (Terry) Piggs, Maxine (Reginald) Harris and LaToya Campbell, all of Greenville; two sons, Keith Epson of Memphis and Kevin Epson of Greenville; one uncle, Roosevelt Campbell of Benoit; two aunts, Ruth Campbell of Benoit and Lois Thomas of Greenville; three sisters-in-law, Viola McCray and Neoma Smith, both of Metcalfe, and Denise Brim of Greenville; four special friends, Ernest Haywood, Frank Perkins, Eric Jameson and Marvin Courtney, all of Greenville; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. The remains will lie in state at the church Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Pastor Thomas Morris Sr. will officiate.
