Shaw
MENTOR, Ohio — A memorial service for Muriel Jean "Mickey" Colvin Shaw, 77, of Mentor and formerly of Greenville, Miss., was held at Mentor Plains United Methodist Church on April 3. She died March 29, 2003, at Hospice House, Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Helena, Ark., and moved with her family to Greenville. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1943. She married Richard N. Shaw in 1944 and lived most of her married life in Willoughby, Ohio, where she was co-owner/operator with her husband of the Shaw Hardware Co. She enjoyed jewelry designing and crafts, and, along with some friends, made and sold jewelry to help support The Little Red Schoolhouse in Mentor, Ohio. After retiring from business, she and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending the winter in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orva and Lucille Colvin; a grandchild, Jessica Roose; and a sister, Mary Frances Quinn.
Survivors include her husband, Richard N. Shaw; her children, Jerry N. Shaw of West Covina, Calif., Terry (Sharon) Shaw of Mentor, Lorry (David) Truitt of Gahanna, Ohio, and Jeanne (Marty) Roth of London, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Sue Colvin Tutt of Memphis and Jenny (Jack) Henderson of Greenville.
Stewart
BELZONI — Funeral services for Queenie Starks Stewart, 65, of Belzoni, a Head Start teacher, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at White Star MB Church, Belzoni. She died of heart failure April 8, 2003, at her home. Burial will be in New Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Belzoni, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.
Survivors include four sons, Ricky Lee Wilder, Lawrence Wilder, Stacy Wilder and Bobby Wilder, all of Belzoni; two daughters, Sophia Swanson of Belzoni and Joann Wilson of Hampton, Va.; one brother, Allen Starks of Silver City; and three sisters, Willie Mae Gowdy, Louella Hazelwood and Lorene Starks, all of Belzoni.
Visitation will be Friday from noon to 5 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Belzoni.

Hamel
MONROE, La. — A funeral Mass for Marie Dantone Hamel, 73, of Monroe and formerly of Greenville, Miss., a homemaker, will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Greenville. She died Aug. 4, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital, Monroe. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
Mrs. Hamel was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Monroe, La. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Dantone Sr., and her parents, Angelo and Mary Vincent.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Hamel; six children, Frank Dantone Jr., Joe Dantone, Tommy Dantone, Tina Farve, Doug Dantone and Mark Dantone; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five stepchildren, Phyllis Hamel, Patricia Garrott, Paula Harrison, Glen Hamel and Alan Hamel; 10 stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Greenville, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Harvey
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Funeral services for Alice Childress Harvey, 93, of Knoxville and formerly of Greenville, Miss., will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Gentry-Griffey Funeral Home chapel, Knoxville. She died Aug. 2, 2003, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Knoxville. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville.
She was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, and was the widow of William Sidney Harvey. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sydney Harvey Scharrer.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue Harvey Brichetto of Knoxville, Tenn.; grandchildren Lori Scharrer Pierce, Rob Scharrer, Angela Brichetto Lossow, Kim Brichetto Thomas and David Brichetto Jr.; seven great-grandchildren; and a close family friend, Sam Enochs.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Daniellee' R. Brown, 32, of Greenville will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Ararat MB Church, Greenville. She died March 28, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.
She confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized at First Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Henderson Fields Sr.
Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Monique Johnson of Greenville; her mother, Emma Elizabeth Colbert of Greenville; her father, Mickey Brown Sr. of Greenville; a special friend, Clay Savage of Greenville; four sisters, Juanita Williams, Yolanda Williams and Crystal Colbert, all of Greenville, and Cheryl Brown of Jackson; four brothers, Warren Brown Jr. and Damion Colbert, both of Greenville, Ralph Brown of Jackson and Raymond Brown of Boston; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., with family hour from 5 to 6 p.m., at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville.

GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Nellie Cartwright, 89, of Greenville will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Jerusalem MB Church, Greenville. She died March 28, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.
Survivors include one daughter, Jessie B. Edwards of Greenville; a special sister-in-law, Bertha Edwards of Greenville; four nieces, including a special niece, Mary F. Edwards and Doyle (Eddie) Madison, both of Greenville, Fannie B. Henderson of Chicago and Catherine (Curtis) Hunter of Germantown, Md.; six nephews, Henry (Rosetta) Edwards of Greenville, Milton Edwards, Alex (Mary) Edwards and James (Ruby) Edwards, all of Gary, Ind., Ralph Edwards of St. Louis, Mo., and Lowell D. (Janie) Edwards of Chesapeake, Va.; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. The remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.

LOUISE — Funeral services for Mary Francis Conway, 84, of Louise will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at New Jerusalem Church of God In Christ, Louise. She died April 1, 2002, of heart failure at Baptist Medical Center, Jackson. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery, Louise, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.
Survivors include three sons, Willie Lee Brown of Louise, David Conway of Memphis and John L. White of Ruleville; and four daughters, Charlie Mae Harris and Annie Pearl Vaughn, both of Jackson, Gladys Mae Fisher of Los Angeles and Katherine R. White of Louise.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Belzoni.

CLEVELAND — Funeral services for Susie Wiggins Done, 90, of Cleveland and formerly of Indianola will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Arcola. She died March 28, 2002, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Indianola, under the direct of Dillon Funeral Home, Leland.
Mrs. Done is a past member of the Eastern Star of Leland. She was also a devoted usher of Pilgrim Rest until her health began to fail.
Survivors include a devoted husband, Clifton Done of Indianola; one son, Sammie (Jurlean) Clark Jr.; two grandchildren, Sammie Clark III of Memphis and Angela Clark of Indianola; one goddaughter, Elizabeth Steverson of Stoneville; one niece, Mary Jane Lockridge of Greenville; two nephews, Jimmy Lockridge and Charles Lockridge, both of Glen Allan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Dillon Funeral Home chapel, Leland.
