SUNFLOWER -- Funeral services for Annie McCoy Fairley, 49, of Sunflower, will be Saturday at noon at Trinity House of Prayer, Sunflower. She died Nov. 23, 2001, at South Sunflower County Hospital, Indianola. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Moorhead, under the direction of Dillon Funeral Home, Indianola.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Norwood and Patricia Fairley, both of Sunflower; four sons, Tora Fairley and Tayares Fairley, both of Sunflower, Danny Fairley Jr. of Moorhead and Matthew Fairley of Camp LeJeune, N.C.; mother, Belzora George of Chicago; four sisters, Juanita Lee, Lucille Vance and Berneice George, all of Chicago, and Lucy McCoy of Miami; seven brothers, Billy George, Benjamin George, Harvis George, Jackie George and Aundre George, all of Chicago, Matthew George of Sunflower and Rush George of Memphis; and 19 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Dillon Funeral Home chapel, Indianola.

Elder Larry Lewis will officiate.

Jarmon

DALLAS -- Funeral services for Oscar Lenard "Big O" Jarmon, 31, of Dallas, Texas, and formerly of Winterville, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. He died Nov. 21, 2001, at Mesquite Community Hospital, Mesquite, Texas. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville.

Oscar was born on March 4, 1970, in Winterville to Ruby Lee Jarmon and Willie B. Hoskins Jr. He was the youngest of eight children. He received his education at Norma C. O'Bannon High School in Greenville. He was employed at United Parcel Service in Dallas. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie B. Hoskins Jr.; and two sisters, Gwendolyn Jarmon and Gail Jarmon.

Oscar leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving mother, Ruby Lee Jarmon of Winterville; maternal grandmother, Lola B. Anderson of Winterville; a special friend and children, LaShawn, Georgette, George, Kontravious and Jeremiah, all of Dallas; three brothers, Willie (Beverly) Jarmon, Bobby (Denise) Jarmon and Larry (Tonya) Jarmon, all of Dallas; two sisters, Cassandra Jarmon and Diane Jarmon, both of Dallas; six uncles, A.J. Jarmon of Detroit, James (Gladys) Anderson and Clarence Anderson, both of Argo, Ill., James (Melvania) Anderson of Dallas, Lewis (Janie) Hoskins of Queens, N.Y., and Charlie (Shirley) Hoskins of Saginaw, Mich.; four aunts, Doretha Shelton of Dallas, Anice Smith of Argo, Ill., and Melvanie Hoskins and Evon Shephard, both of Queens, N.Y.; three nephews, Tyrice Hoskins and Melvin Jarmon, both of Winterville, and Willie Jarmon Jr. of Dallas; eight nieces, Chontina Jarmon and Marquita Hoskins, both of Winterville, Ashunti Jarmon, Brittney Jarmon, Bridgette Jarmon, Brianna Jarmon and Talicia Jarmon, all of Dallas, and Rebecca Howard of Indianapolis; and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville.

The Rev. E.L. Haythorne will officiate.

Morris

GREENVILLE -- Funeral arrangements for Leola Mae Morris, 68, of Greenville are pending at Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Nov. 28, 2001, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville.

Mumford

LELAND -- Funeral services for Tommy Lee "Tripple T" Mumford, 52, of Leland, will be Saturday at noon at W.E. Bufkin Auditorium, Leland. He died Nov. 25, 2001, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Sisters of Charity Cemetery, Elizabeth, under the direction of Frye Funeral Home, Leland.

Mr. Mumford was preceded in death by his father, Deacon Jimmy Mumford.

Survivors include a devoted wife of 30 years, Barbara Mumford of Leland; one daughter, Alecisa "Lisa" Mumford of Lake Charles, La.; three sons, Tommy (Tracy) Mumford Jr. of Lake Charles, La., Jimmy (Erica) Mumford of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Taris Mumford of Leland; five grandsons, Michael, Klay, Tadarius, Kameron and Khristian Mumford; three granddaughters, Arenica, Kiara and Alexis Mumford; a loving mother, Mary Ella Mumford of Leland; three brothers, James Mumford of Gary, Ind., Jimmy (Mary) Mumford of Los Angeles and George (Lynda) Mumford of Leland; seven sisters, Joanne Olive and Annie Pearl Mumford, both of Gary, Ind., Grova (Thomas) Lewis of Indianapolis, Ella (J.C.) Miles of Los Angeles, Deola (Roy) Poole of Hawthorne, Calif., Rose Todd of Alta Loma, Calif., and Debbie (James) Baugh of Hattiesburg; two uncles, George Mumphard of Scooba and Robert Lee Mumphard of East St. Louis, Ill.; two aunts, Lena Bell Johnson of Chicago and Lillie B. Hurse of Dallas; one sister-in-law, Earnestine Whitley of Greenville; seven brothers-in-law, Archie (Sandra) Hayes, Lewis (Barbara) Whitley and Dan Whitley, all of Chicago, T.J. (Pearl) Whitley of Indianola, Henry (Martha) Whitley of Leland and Ernest (Barbara) Whitley and Jerry Whitley, both of Greenville; and several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home, Leland.

The Rev. David Franklin will officiate.

Stone

CHATHAM -- Funeral Mass for Mary Louise Stone, 75, of Chatham will be today at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Greenville. She died Nov. 26, 2001, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville, of heart failure. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Greenville, under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville.

She was born in Forrest City, Ark., and moved to Meridian with her parents. She graduated from Meridian High School. She was employed as a teletypist at the Meridian Army Air Field during World War II. She made her home in Greenville, where she was a teller with Greenville Bank & Trust Co. She married George W. Stone in 1949, and they made their home in Chatham. She became the bookkeeper for Stone Brothers Farm in 1982, and helped establish Pappaw's Christmas Tree Farm. She retired in 1999. She was a devoted wife and mother, and was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, George W. Stone Sr. of Chatham; two daughters, Ann S. McCaskill of Leland and Julie S. Peyton of Hollandale; two sons, George W. Stone Jr. of Des Allemands, La., and Paul W. Stone of Glen Allan; one sister, Paula S. Goller of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Dan Shanahan of Cankton, La.; and six grandchildren.

Taylor

MEMPHIS -- Funeral services for Fred Seldon Taylor, 42, of Memphis and formerly of Rosedale, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gospel Temple MB Church, Rosedale. He died Nov. 23, 2001, at Methodist Hospital-South, Memphis. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Rosedale, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Rosedale.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Liggins Taylor of Memphis; four daughters, Urica Humphries of Austin, Texas, Torneisha Booth of Rosedale, and Verna Crawford and Terri Garrison, both of Memphis; two sons, Corderra Butler of Rosedale and Vernon Crawford of Memphis; mother, Fredericka Randall Taylor of Memphis; three brothers, Eric B. Taylor of Memphis, Jake Randall Taylor of Bolingbrook, Ill., and Ceasar Gregory Taylor of Bellwood, Ill.; and three sisters, Kate Taylor Bolden of Rosedale and Ruth Taylor and Etta Taylor Harris, both of Memphis.

The remains will lie in state Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Gospel Temple MB Church, Rosedale.

The Rev. J.E. Gillon will officiate.

Varnado

GREENVILLE -- Funeral services for Catherine Lidge Varnado, 68, of Greenville, will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary MB Church, Greenville. She died Nov. 25, 2001, at Mississippi Care Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Metcalfe, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lenora Lidge; two sisters, Luella Lidge and Leatha Mae Lidge; and two brothers, Willie James Lidge and J.C. Lidge.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Varnado of Kissimmee, Fla.; one daughter, Letitia Noland of Greenville; five grandchildren, Sherri Lidge, Angela Lidge, Lewis C. Noland Jr. and Douglas Noland, all of Greenville, and Bobby Noland of Hollandale; three sisters, Rosie Nash of Greenville and Ledora (Roosevelt) Lidge and Lebertha Robinson, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two brothers, Lonnie (Bernice) Lidge of Greenville and Lewis (Mary) Lidge of Benoit; one sister-in-law, Ella Mae Lidge of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., with family hour from 6 to 7 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. The remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The Rev. Thomas Gray will officiate.

Baymon

ISOLA — Funeral services for Adella Baymon, 91, of Isola will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Oliver MB Church, Isola. She died of heart failure June 10, 2002, at Humphreys County Memorial Hospital, Belzoni. Burial will be in Mt. Oliver/Bellwood Cemetery, Isola, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.

Survivors include two sons, Leroy Baymon of Belzoni and Willie James Baymon of Indianola; and four daughters, Doris Baymon of Isola, Alice Baymon of Chicago, Helen Redmond of Milwaukee and Pauline Bailey of Maryville, Ind.

Visitation will be Friday from noon to 5 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Belzoni.

The Rev. T.P. Rush will officiate.

Burrage

INDIANOLA — Funeral arrangements for Edward Dee Burrage, 49, of Elgin, Ill., and formerly of Indianola are pending at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola. He died June 12, 2002, at his home.

Fratesi

GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangements for Helen Ruth Fratesi, 83, of Greenville are pending at Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville. She died June 12, 2002, at Arnold Avenue Nursing Home, Greenville.

Harbour

INDIANOLA — Graveside services for Melvin T.T. Harbour, 11 days, of Tupelo, will be today at 10 a.m. in Riverside Memorial Gardens, Indianola. He died June 8, 2002, at Children's Hospital, Birmingham, Ala. Burial will be under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

Irving

MOORHEAD — Funeral services for Hannah Lee Buchanan Hollimon Irving, 98, of Memphis and formerly of Moorhead will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lee's Chapel AME Church, Moorhead. She died June 9, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Southaven. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Moorhead, under the direction of Watson-Edwards & Evans Funeral Home, Greenville.

Mrs. Hannah Irving's life will be honored on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lee's Chapel AME Church, 203 Sunflower Road, Moorhead. The Rev. Frankie McKinley will officiate.

Mrs. Irving was preceded in death by her father, mother, stepmother, one daughter and siblings.

Mrs. Irving leaves to celebrate her homegoing one son, I.H. (Helen) Randall of Harvey, Ill.; two daughters, Mae H. (Emmett) Paxton of Oak Parks, Ill., and Hiawather (Leroy) Graham of Memphis; one stepdaughter, Estella Taylor of Houston, Miss.; one brother, Alfred (Pell) Buchanan of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; four godchildren; a special friend, Lois Ingram of Atlanta, Ga.; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Watson-Edwards & Evans Funeral Home, Greenville. The remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
