George Willie Hyatt
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday, April 2 at First United Methodist Church for George Willie Hyatt, 74, of Quitman who died Wednesday, March 31 at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
The Rev. Andy Cotten will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Meridian under the direction of Wright's Funeral Home in Quitman.
A native of Poplarville, he was a self-employed barber for 45 years, a veteran of the U.S. Army who was a paratrooper during the U.S. occupation of Europe, joined the Marines and served in Japan during the Korean War, received the National Defense Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Occupational Defense Medal and a Paratrooper Badge, a member of VFW who served as Senior Vice Commander and Squad Leader of the Rifle Team and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hyatt of Quitman; three sons, Edward Hyatt of Poplarville, George Allen Hyatt of Enum Claw, Wash. and Stanley Lee of Meridian; four daughters, Shelia McCraney and Shirley Knight, both of Poplarville and Deborah Madison and Anita Tolbird, both of Meridian; five brothers, John Henry Hyatt, Edward Hyatt and Tommy Hyatt, all of Poplarville, Willie "Pee Wee" Hyatt of Pontotoc and J.V. Hyatt of Alliance, Ohio; two sisters, Rosie Hickman of Poplarville and Irma Holley of Picayune; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1 at Wright's Funeral Home in Quitman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to First United Methodist Church or Add Riley VFW Post 4982.
Lillie P. Morris
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3 at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church for Lillie P. Morris, 91, of Picayune who died Monday, March 29 in Picayune.
The Rev. Donald Parker will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Parker Chapel Cemetery in the Cybus community under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
A native of the Cybus community, she was a member of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one nephew, Charles Porter of Picayune; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, April 3 at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church.
Ruth Jo Osburn
Graveside services are at noon Friday, April 2 at Slade Cemetery in Purvis for Ruth Jo Osburn, 96, of Picayune who died Tuesday, March 30 at her residence.
Burial will be in Purvis Cemetery under the direction of Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis.
A native of Gensee, La. and a longtime resident of Picayune and Bay St. Louis, she was a retired registered nurse.
Survivors include two sons, C.T. "Tommy" Osburn of Picayune and W.F. "Bill" Osburn of Chalmette, La.; one daughter, Susan K. Osburn of Waveland; one sister, Ivnora Slade of Purvis; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Ruby Nell 'Dot' Manning
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3 at Klein Road Church of God in Gulfport for Ruby Nell "Dot" Manning, 59, of Gulfport who died Tuesday, March 30 at Garden Park Memorial Hospital.

Desiree Boudreaux
Services are at a later date for Desiree Boudreaux, 45, of Pontiac, Ill., who died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Ill.
Boudreaux was a native of Picayune.
Survivors include her mother, Wilda Jean Rist Boudreaux, of Purvis; a daughter, Candice Wallace, of Slidell; a son, B Jay Boudreaux, of Picayune.
Deborah Byrd
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 15 at 1st Baptist Church of Picayune for Deborah Byrd, 52, of Picayune, who died Friday, June 11, 2004.
The Rev. R.T. Buckley officiates at the service. Burial is in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Brookhaven, she was a budget analyst for the U. S. Navy and a member of 1st Baptist Church of Picayune.
Survivors include husband, Richard Byrd; and two sons, Zachary Byrd, of Houma and Jack Byrd, of Picayune.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Monday, June 14, and 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, at 1st Baptist Church of Picayune.
Kenneth Mitchell Green
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31 at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City for Kenneth Mitchell Green, 62, of McNeill who died Thursday, July 29, 2004, at his residence.
Burial was under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
He was retired from the military.
Marguerite June Ladner
Graveside services are at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2 at New Palestine Cemetery for Marguerite June Ladner, 85, of Picayune who died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, in Slidell, La.
Burial was under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
A native of Indianapolis, Ind., she was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Ladner and Richard Ladner, both of Picayune and Darrell Ladner of Vero Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Joyce Stackler of Celina, Ohio, Juanita Goff of Dayton, Ohio and Linda Bryon of Albany, Ind.; a brother, Harold Schaftner of Indianapolis; a sister, Mildred Sweeny of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Converse, La.
Survivors include three daughters, Carylon Whitfield of Picayune, Ruth Fulford of Monticello and Thelma Shoemate of Pioneer; a brother, Olen D. Myers of Jackson; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 4-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
