Wadlington
SHAW — Funeral services for Alvin Wadlington, 66, of Shaw will be Saturday at noon at Bethlehem No. 1 Church, 3 1/2 miles south of Shaw. He died Dec. 6, 2002, at Bolivar County Medical Center, Cleveland. Burial will be in Ebenezer Church Cemetery, Carroll County, under the direction of Dillon Funeral Home, Leland.
Mr. Wadlington was retired from the U.S. Steel Mill of Chicago, Ill. He was preceded in death by his brother, Oliver Wadlington.
Survivors include his wife, Freddie Hardy-Wadlington of Shaw; five daughters, Betty Wadlington and Paulette Byant, both of Chicago, Hermeng Wadlington and Antoinette Merchant, both of St. Cloud, Minn., and Daphine Robinson of Country Club Hills, Ill.; five brothers, Mitchell (Thelma) Wadlington of Chicago, Charles (Rose) Wadlington, Gene (Augusta) Wadlington and Aaron Wadlington, all of Shaw, and Lee Chester Wadlington of Choctaw; seven sisters, Lois Faye (Rashaad), Marva Montgomery, Eva (Irie) Williams, Emma (Rydell) Jackson and Margaret Ann Wadlington, all of Chicago, Laura Brooks of Allentown, Pa., and Ms. Kyles of Joliet, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
The body will lie in state Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at the church.
The Rev. M.C. Jordan will officiate.
Williams
HOLLANDALE — Graveside services for Louis O. Williams, 80, of Hollandale, a retired military veteran, will be today at noon in Indianola Memorial Gardens. He died of heart failure Dec. 10, 2002, at his home. Burial will be under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Belzoni.
Mr. Williams was born in Sand Mountain, Ga., and was a veteran of World War II in the Army.
Survivors include three half-sisters, Peggy Vining and Patsy Hargrave, both of Belzoni, and Ann Winters of Phillips; and one niece who was his caretaker, Donna Vining of Hollandale.
Williams
GREENVILLE — Memorial services for Price Montgomery Williams, 61, of Houston and formerly of Greenville will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel at First United Methodist Church, Greenville. He died Nov. 30, 2002, at his home.
Price was the son of Dr. and Mrs. John W. Williams. He was born Jan. 24, 1941, in Lake City, Fla.
Survivors include his father, Dr. John Wesley Williams of Greenville; his son, Walker Wesley Williams of Houston, Texas; and three sisters, Marcia DeSonier of Pensacola, Fla., Penny Weaver of Montgomery, Ala., and Jennifer DeBruhl of Nashville, Tenn.
Dr. Thomas Atkins will officiate.
Davis
GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangements for Lamont Davis Jr., one day old, of Greenville are pending at Byas Funeral Home, Greenville. He died March 31, 2003, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville.
Fabick
GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Samuel "Sam" Fabick, 51, of Greenville will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. He died March 31, 2003, from complications of pneumonia at Mississippi Baptist Hospital, Jackson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Greenville.
"Samps" as he was known by his three grandsons, was born May 1, 1951, at Roswell, N.M., to Samuel and Virgie Fabick. He moved to Greenville at an early age with his family. He attended Greenville public schools and graduated from O'Bannon High School. He was a former employee of U.S. Gypsum Co., Schwinn Bicycle Co., Delta & Pine Land Co. and Greenville Iron & Metal Co., where he worked in the maintenance department.
Sam was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He will be remembered for his love of country music, NASCAR, fishing, sitting by a fire, cooking for his family, and anything he could do with his hands. He enjoyed spending time in his workshop and never ceased to amaze people with his talent. If you could imagine it, he could build it, fix it or draw it. He will be truly missed by all, but now rests in heaven with his father. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Fabick Sr., in 1999.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janet Wingo Fabick of Greenville, Miss.; his mother, Virgie Fabick of Greenville, Miss.; three daughters, Connie (John) Polson of Jackson, Miss., Christy (Kevin) Bachmeyer of San Antonio, Texas, and Mandy Putman of Greenville, Miss.; one brother, Keith (Natali) Fabick of Lake Village, Ark.; two sisters, Diane (Gene) Laurenzi of Memphis, Tenn., and Joan Fabick Shepherd of Houston, Texas; and three grandsons whom he was most proud of, Logan Arendale, Chandler Polson and Wyatt Polson.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Greenville.

Govan
LAS VEGAS — A memorial service for Willie Govan Jr., 65, of Las Vegas and formerly of Greenville, Miss., was March 21 at 10 a.m. at Palm Mortuary, Las Vegas. He died March 15, 2003, in Las Vegas.
Mr. Govan was a longtime employee of Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. He was married to the late Betty Govan, who preceded him in death Aug. 3, 2002. Willie was a 1957 graduate of Coleman High School. He served in the United State Army.
Survivors are his sister, Bettye J. Govan of Greenville; a stepson, Alonzo (Stephanie) Johnson of Fairfield, Calif.; three nephews; one niece; one sister-in-law; a host of cousins and friends; and a special friend, Eddie Durr of Las Vegas.

GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangements for Minnie Smith, 81, of Crestview, Fla., and formerly of Greenville are pending at Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville. She died March 28, 2003, at the home of her daughter in Crestview.
Pund
BATESVILLE -- Funeral services for Jean K. Pund, 70, a retired real estate saleslady of Batesville will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Batesville. She died June 14, 2003, of heart failure at her home. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Greenville Cemetery, Greenville.
She was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church. She was born March 13, 1933, to Waymond Daniel and Ernestine Pitman Keel.
Survivors include her husband, William A. "Billy" Pund of Batesville, Miss.; a daughter, Tara Jennings Alt of New Orleans, La.; a son, Walter E. Dye of Batesville, Miss.; two sisters, Carolyn Keel Campbell and Dorothy Keel Etheridge, both of Sarasota, Fla.; three granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
Father Sam Godfrey and Father Tom Hastings will officiate.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Timmons
WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Memorial services for Raymond Scott Timmons, 37, will be at 4 p.m. today at Dunbar Funeral Home, Columbia. He died June 13, 2003.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of Georgianna Pazmino Timmons and the late Howard Douglas Timmons. He and his wife, Cassandra Parkinson Timmons, worked alongside each other for many years as head chefs at Motor Supply Bistro.
Surviving are his wife and daughter, Masie, of West Columbia; his mother of Rock Hill; brother, Howard D. Timmons Jr. of Greensboro, N.C.; sister, Jennifer Ann Timmons of Columbia; maternal grandfather, George Pazmino of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and many loving family members and friends.
Visitation will follow the service.

Blevins
YAZOO CITY — Funeral services for Calvin Blevins, 54, of Yazoo City, a security service man, will be Saturday at noon at Bethel MB Church, Carter. He died of heart failure Jan. 30, 2002, at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson. Burial will be in Bethel MB Church Cemetery, Carter, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kirk Blevins of Yazoo City; one son, Calvin Matthews Blevins Jr. of Yazoo City; two brothers, James Sutton of Haiti, Mo., and Charles Blevins of Chicago; and one sister, Mary Sutton of Chicago.
Visitation will be Friday from noon to 5 p.m., with family hour from 7 to 8 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home chapel, Belzoni.
Brother M.C. Miller will officiate.
Brown
MEMPHIS — Funeral services for Robert Augustus Brown, 68, of Memphis and formerly of Greenville were Friday at 2 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, Germantown Parkway Chapel, Memphis. He died Jan. 30, 2002, at his home. Burial was in Memory Hill Gardens, Memphis.
Mr. Brown was a retired first lieutenant from the Marine Corps, and was a former employee of Murray Guard Security Co., and courier for Travelennium.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry T. Brown of Memphis; a daughter, Pamela Brown Jordan of Memphis; a son, Robert C. Brown of Memphis; four sisters, Emily Williams of Greenville, Ann Williams and Tessa Cooper, both of Lake Village, Ark., and Gene Sargent of Carlsbad, Texas; four brothers, Bill Brown of West Palm Beach, Fla., Raymond Lanford of Olive Branch, and Charles Lanford and Leland Lanford, both of Greenville; and one grandchild.
Cartwright
