Raymond held several jobs during his life. Some of these jobs included BIA policeman, tribal councilman, Northern Cheyenne chief tribal judge, game warden, dorm attendant at both St. Labre Indian School and the Busby High School, liaison for the tribe and the sawmill in Ashland, and apprentice control room operator for Montana Power Company.
Later, in Billings he formed a partnership with Russ Zimmerman called Two Two Co-op Construction but because of health problems he had to quit the construction partnership. Again he worked at various positions, security guard for Billings Logan International Airport, courtesy driver for the War Bonnet Inn, and finally his last employer was the Holiday Stations where he was employed for the last five years. But again because of health reasons he had to resign.

If a person was to meet him just one time they would remember him because he had the kind of personality that was not easy to forget. Raymond enjoyed being with his friends, watching sports and drinking his beer. No one could tell a story like Raymond. He could tell a story and make it so real that it felt like you were right there watching it happen. Also jokes, Ray could tell a joke and have the whole room laughing. There will never be a man like Raymond, Ralph, cool Ray or whatever he was known by again.

He was also an extremely competitive member of the Billings City Pool League and also a past member of the Billings Softball League.
Family and friends were a big part of his life but most importantly his son and daughter and their children. He especially liked to coach his oldest grandson, Terry, in sports and steer riding and watch his granddaughter, Rockelle at her school functions. He would pick up his grandchildren and take them to the movies or the park and spend as much time with them as he could. He had an exceptional place in his heart for Lenray Jr. whom he had kept for several months as a toddler. But most of all Raymond was a DAD. He always had an inspiring word of encouragement or direction. He was always willing to help in any way he could without questions asked.

Whiteman (Jim); and eight grandchildren; four brothers, Emil Frazer and Vincent Two Two of Ashland, Steve (Edith) Two Two of Butte and Marvin (Judy) Two Two of California; four sisters, Geraldine Fisher and Delores (Woodrow) White Crow of Ashland, Donna (Gene) Paul and Amanda (Rodger) Dillard of Washington state; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
