During this time her godmother, June Bradley, of Honolulu; her mother's twin, Elsa Price of Sarasota, Fla.; and Richard and Jean Isakson or Kapolei, Hawaii, were loving and stabilizing influences for her, as they would continue to be throughout her life.
Upon graduation from Kaulua High School in 1970, Chris' desire for adventure and independence brought her to Montana. She graduated from Rocky Mountain College in 1974 with degrees in psychology and history. She met William Hancock while at Rocky and they were married in Hawaii, Aug. 20, 1972. After doing volunteer work for the Mental Health Center she then devoted her life to rearing her family here in the Billings area.
