Albert K. Fink
CASPER, Wyo. - Funeral services for Albert K. Fink, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at Mount Hope Lutheran Church in Casper with Pastor Boehnke officiating. Viewing will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
He died April 15, 1999, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper following a car accident.

He was born April 3, 1931, in Lovell, Wyo., the son of Karl N. and Katherine (Winterholler) Fink. He graduated from Lovell High School. He spent the first part of his life working on the family farm until the farm was sold. He then worked at American Colloid in Lovell, Wyo.

He married Mary Theresa Oligmueller in Lovell, Wyo., on June 28, 1968. They moved to Casper in 1973. Mr. Fink worked for Black Hills Bentonite in Casper for 23 years before retiring. He was also a devoted sports fan. He attended all sporting events that his children participated in, especially football, basketball, baseball, and track and field. His hobbies included continuous support of high school athletics, Babe Ruth Baseball, and American Legion Baseball.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Teresa of Casper; his son, Brian Fink of Midwest; his daughter, Bridget Fink of Casper; two brothers, Victor and Olive Fink of Lovell, and Willie and Irene Fink of Sheridan, Wyo.; his pride and joy his grandson, Trevor Fink of Gering, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Infant Alex Fink, Karl Fink, Fred Fink, Rudolph Fink, and Herman Fink; three sisters, Sophie Harvey, Virginia Banks, and Emma Watts.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate the memorials to the Albert K Fink Basketball Memorial at Kelly Walsh High School, 3500 East 12th Street, Casper, Wyo. 82609.

Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Bearchum Sr.
LAME DEER - Robert Bearchum Sr., 50, Shoti Sun Dance Priest, of Lame Deer, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999.
He was born June 6, 1948 in Crow Agency, a son of Frank Bearchum Sr. and Alice Medicine Flying. He grew up in the Lame Deer area and attended school in Lame Deer and Colstrip. He later attended BYU. "Little Wolf, " a traditional translation of his Cheyenne name, worked at various occupations, most recently as a security officer and health care representative.

Robert enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and later received his Honorable Discharge.

He married Rose Lee Sillitti on Aug. 3, 1971 in Sheridan, Wyo., and the couple made their home in Lame Deer.

"Cold Wieners" as he was affectionately called was a very traditional person. He was a member of the Elks Society and also actively participated in hand games. He was the founder of the Northern Cheyenne Senior hand game team, who won the senior hand game championships in 1975 and 1998. His traditional beliefs, enabled him to take part in several religious fasts in the Bear Butte, S.D., area. He enjoyed all sports, particularly horseshoes. He was a member of the Elks Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; three half brothers; and three half sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Rose; two daughters, Christi and Nakia Bearchum of Lame Deer; six sons, Mike (Kim) Craig and Frank E. Bearchum of Wyoming, Ron (Stanna) Craig and Robert (Michelle) Bearchum Jr. of Lame Deer, Tracy Craig of Tennessee and Frank (Jodi) Sillitti of North Dakota; one adopted son, Steve Moosman of Utah; one brother, Vann (Anna Mae) Ryan Sr. of Lame Deer; two half brothers, Hubert Bearchum Sr. of Ashland, and John (Lucille) White Hawk Sr. of Lame Deer; six adopted brothers, Moke Eagle Feathers of Butte, Jimmy Limpy, Geofredo Little Bird Sr. and Allen Club Foote of Lame Deer, Grady Hunts the Arrow and Gordon Plain Bull of Pryor. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Wake services will be held 7 p.m. in the Lame Deer Catholic Church social room. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday in the Lame Deer Boys and Girls Gymnasium. Interment with military honors will follow in the Birney cemetery. Bullis Mortuary of Hardin has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Raymond Douglas 'Doc' Lee
GLENNALLEN, Alaska - Raymond Douglas "Doc" Lee, 52, of Glennallen, Alaska, passed away April 14, 1999 at the Powell Hospital after a lengthy illness. He attended and graduated from the Powell High School in 1964 where he participated in sports. He loved wrestling in which he was a crowd pleaser under the name of "Doc."
For several years he worked at the Badges Basin Husky refinery. He was a dedicated member of the Powell Volunteer Fire Department for several years. When the Hamilton House was the Driftwood, he managed the lounge. He bought the K-Bar which he had for several years. He was a member of the Powell Elks Lodge for 32 years, and held some offices. He was an avid fisherman and bird hunter. He then moved to Glennallen, Alaska, where he was presently residing, and employed by the Copper Valley Construction Company. He has many good friends, and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include: his mother, Jeannette Lee, Powell, Wyo.; one brother: James Lee of Great Falls, Mont.; uncles: Richard Miller of Salmon, Idaho, Charles Robert Lee of Vashon, Wash.; two nieces: Jennifer and Andrea of Great Falls, Mont.; and an aunt: Fay Miller of Pocatello, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. W.R. Lee, DVM, and a sister, Jo Marie.

Rosary will be held at St. Barbara's Catholic Church on Sunday, April 18, 1999 at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 19, 1999 at St. Barbara's Catholic Church at 10 p.m. Father John Wright will be the celebrant.

William Duane Walker
MELSTONE - William Duane Walker went to be with the Lord on April 16, 1999. Duane was born May 15, 1927, to William and Lydia (Thompson) Walker in Glendive. The family lived in Richey until he was ten years old. They left Richey in 1937 because of the dust bowl and started for the West Coast. They had reached Billings when Duane was stricken with Polio. He attended Senior High School and Billings Business College. Duane was the office manager at Armco, Empire Steel, Roscoe Steel and Potts Implement.
Duane married Mary Walker on May 7, 1949, in Miles City. Duane and Mary purchased the Diamond M truck stop in Melstone in 1963. They traveled to trade shows selling Alzner foot supports after selling the business. Duane was in dance bands for many years and delighted in playing the saxophone. Duane helped many people through his reflexology. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh (cackle). Duane was an avid sports fan. The family rejoices in the fact that Duane knew Christ as his personal Savior.

Survivors include his wife and life partner, Mary of Melstone; brother, Donald D. (Verna) Walker of Squim, Wash; daughters: Connie (Barney) Roussan of Casper, Wyo., and Barbara (Bill) Rostad LaGrange, Wyo.; son, Scott (Kim) Walker, of Melstone; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Duane's life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at the Melstone Community Center. Interment will follow at the Melstone cemetery. Visitation will be held the day of Services at the Community Center from 9:30-11 a.m. Lunch will be served following the interment. Wier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Donald L. 'Sandman' Sand
ROUND ROCK, Texas - March 2, 1939 - March 2, 1999. Born in Glasgow, Mont., to Gust and Marie Sand, the Sandman was a proud Norwegian. He was class president of Glasgow High and graduated in 1957. After attending Spokane Business College and Concordia College, he served in the U.S. Army. He then went to MSU in Bozeman and met and married his wife Judy. He was a founding partner of Whitewood Transportation in Billings.
A devout Bobcat fan, Sandman loved traveling, playing cards and the odds with friends. He also enjoyed logic problems, and golfing.

Throughout his battle with cancer, he resided with his beloved family in Round Rock, Texas.

Survivors include his son Christoffer Sand, stepchildren Michelle Nauman and Barry Hunter, and three grandchildren, Cole Nauman, Cambry Nauman, and Powell Sand.

A dear friend, mentor, and grandpa, Sandman's life will be celebrated Saturday, March 20. Family and friends will gather from 2-4 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 2216 Grand Ave. in Billings.

Hilda "Corinne" Dunbar
ROBERTS - Hilda "Corinne" Dunbar, 72, died March 24, 1999, at the Beartooth Hospital and Health Center. She was born Nov. 19, 1926, the daughter of Herman and Margaret (Allard) Blom, in Riverton, Wyo. Corinne attended schools in Riverton and Kaycee, Wyo., and graduated from Kaycee High School.
On Dec. 4, 1945, Corinne was united in marriage to Gerald T. Dunbar in Musselshell. Together they raised two daughters, Wanda and Sharon. Corinne worked as a retail clerk for Sears in Billings for many years. They moved to Red Lodge in 1980 and to Roberts in 1998. Corinne helped Gerald at the Bull and Bear Restaurant in Red Lodge by making her delicious pies and baked goods.

Corinne loved to work in her garden. Her flowers were her pride and joy and they were enjoyed by all. She collected and made dolls. The Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls she made are real treasures. Corinne was a member of the Red Lodge Eagles Auxiliary #742 and the Elks Does Auxiliary #534.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Dunbar of Roberts; daughters, Wanda Kirwin of Las Vegas, Nev., and Sharon (Tim) Dore of Chandler, Ariz.; grandson, Jeffrey Moffet stationed in Japan for the U.S. Air Force; granddaughter, Jenny Orlando of Springfield, Ore.; four great-grandchildren; brother, Alfred Blom of Bozeman; and numerous aunts, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Blom; and sister, Clara Kombol.

Funeral services will be held at the Dahl Funeral Chapel-Red Lodge, 708 South McGillen, Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at 1 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. There will be visitation at Dahl Funeral Chapel-Red Lodge, Sunday, 1-4 p.m. and Monday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Dialysis Clinic, Inc., 2411 Village Lane, Billings, MT 59102

Helen T. Loendorf
Helen T. Loendorf, 88, formerly of Wolf Point, died March 26, 1999, at the St. John's Nursing Home in Billings.
She was born June 23, 1910, in Balfour, N. D., the daughter of Theodore and Magdalena Tritschler. Her family moved to McCone County in 1912, and established a homestead. Helen attended high school at Sacred Heart Academy in Fargo, N.D., and obtained a teaching certificate from Eastern Montana College in Billings. She taught rural school for several years in McCone County.

On May 7, 1936, she married George C. Loendorf at Vida. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, and endowed her six children with her love of literature and poetry.

Helen is survived by her children, Mary Kessner of Richland, Wash., Jerome of Helena, Joseph and wife, Sharlene, of Billings, Gregory and wife, Emily, of Denver, Colo., Sister Ann Paula of Kansas City, Mo., Clare and husband Daniel Young of Billings. Also surviving are two sisters, Bernice Sievers and Josephine Hayes both of Wolf Point; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband George; two brothers, Andrew and Claude; and three sisters, Theresa, Sister Thecla and Sister Theodora.

The family desires that memorials be sent to charities of choice.

Visitations will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at the Clayton Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 29, at the Immaculate Conception Church with Rev. Fr. Steve Zabrocki officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery in Wolf Point.

Mary Louise Fink
COLUMBUS - Mary Louise Fink, 58, of Columbus, passed away Friday, March 26, 1999, at her home with her family at her side.
Mary was born at Columbus on Jan. 22, 1941, a daughter of William and Ruth Gates. She was married to Richard Fink on Aug. 2, 1961, at Pueblo, Colo., and had lived in or near Columbus all of her life.

Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters. She liked to camp, fish, cook, care for the cattle and enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of Columbus; daughter, Angela Fink of Unalakleet, Alaska; sons, Richard Fink Jr. (Coleen) of Aurora, Colo., Jeff Fink (Shirley) of Columbus, Greg Fink (Bonnie) of Columbus; sisters, Allie Davison of Columbus, Edna Grush of Johnstown, Pa., Frances Hochhalter of Livingston, Mildred Wittmer of West Yellowstone, Edith Riemann of Columbus, Sunny Lindley of Portland, Ore., Molly Deeney of Billings, Clara Fox of Columbus; brothers, Henry Gates of Cameron, Bill Gates of Absarokee, Harry Gates of Columbus and Carl Gates of Columbus and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 29 from 4-7 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Columbus. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be in Mountainview cemetery. Smith Funeral Chapel, Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Memorials to: Big Sky Hospice (Stillwater Team) P.O. Box 35033, Billings, MT 59107 or St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Milton V. Andersen
PLENTYWOOD - A funeral service for Milton V. Andersen will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westby. Milton, 80, died late Thursday night, March 25, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Plentywood.
Milton was born April 21, 1918 in Daneville Township, Divide County, North Dakota. He was the son of Alfred and Marie Andersen. He graduated from Culbertson High School in 1936.

On October 11, 1940, he married Inez Feltis of Peerless. They had two daughters, Fay and Kari, and farmed in Divide County, N.D. until Inez passed away in 1982. Milton later retired and married Edna Kroshus in 1986. She passed away in 1989.

Milton had inherited his father's gift for the ministry and served as a lay pastor in area Lutheran churches for many years.

He loved the farm, and enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. Nothing new was bought until the old had been fixed as much as absolutely possible.

Because of his firm faith and convictions, the family looked to him for guidance and stability. He will be greatly missed, but he left us all a wonderful example after which to pattern our lives.

Milton is survived by two daughters: Fay of Oklahoma City, and Kari and husband Larry Jensen of Plentywood; two grandchildren, Mandy and Tony Jensen; two sisters Myrtle and husband Len Bauer of Avoca, Iowa, and Ruby and husband Burt Lindstrom of Minneapolis, Minn.; and two brothers Arnold of Peerles, and Wes and wife Elaine of Minden, Neb. He was preceded in death by wives Inez and Edna; two brothers, Maynard and Vernon; and one sister, Lucille.

Fulkerson Funeral Home of Plentywood is in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn "Eva" Marie Jamieson
Evelyn "Eva" Marie Jamieson, 98 of Billings, passed away Friday, March 26, 1999, at Parkview Convalescent Care Center. The daughter of John and Teresa (Duganovic) Grabeldinger, she was born March 3, 1901, in Austria.
In 1903, Evelyn was brought to the United States with her parents and lived in Detroit, Michigan for five years before moving to Rosebud, where she was raised and educated. In 1916, she returned to Detroit, where she worked as a telephone operator. While in Detroit, she trained to become a manager of an Arthur Murray dance studio. She later moved to Butte and opened her first dance school in 1920.

In 1923, Evelyn met and married Andrew Ferkovic in Butte. They opened dance schools in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Eureka, Calif. In 1930, she and Andrew were divorced. In 1932, Evelyn had the honor of working as an extra in a John Wayne movie, "The Long Trail", and danced with the "cowboys."

In 1934, she met and married Burton Jamieson in Eureka, Calif., They resided there until Burton's death in 1972. Evelyn sold her home and moved to Montana that same year.

Evelyn loved homemaking, her flower gardens, and traveling. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, tatting, and word puzzles. She was passionate about playing cards with her dear friend and shirttail relative, Betty Sullivan. In addition to her parents and her husband Burton, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Katie Schrieber of Billings, Lizzie Zwolle of Lewistown, and Anna Grabeldinger of Jamestown, N.D.; and one brother, John Grabeldinger of Rosebud.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews of Billings, Lewistown, and Helena which include Grace Carter of Helena and Gary and Judy Carter and family of Billings.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at Michelotti, Sawyers and Nordquist, 1001 Alderson Ave. Burial will be next to her late husband in the Oceanview cemetery in Eureka, California.

Ethel R. Gordon, formerly of Billings. Graveside memorial service to be held at Billings Mountview cemetery, Sect. 9, Tuesday, March 30, at 10 a.m.

Eileen Lynch Grosvenor
RENTON, Wash. - Eileen Lynch Grosvenor was born on a ranch on Rosebud Creek near Lame Deer, Mont., on Feb. 1, 1924. She died March 1, 1999, at Valley Medical Center in Renton.
Eileen was a 33-year resident of Renton. She was widely traveled, having spent four years in Japan and Okinawa from 1947 to 1951, and three years in Europe in the mid-'50s.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon "Buz" Grosvenor of Renton; her daughter, Gail Grosvenor-Nyreen and grandchildren, Nicholas Scotti and Gina Eileen Scotti, all of Bothell; sisters, Mrs. Jim (Margaret Lynch) Callen of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Ray (Claire Lynch) Womack of Fairbanks, Alaska; and brother, Patrick Hugh Lynch of Palm Desert, Calif.

Mrs. Grosvenor was buried March 5, 1999, at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent. Memorials may be made to Maryknoll-Fathers & Brothers Foreign Mission Society, Maryknoll, N.Y. 10545.
