Carletta M. 'Corky' Marcher
Carletta M. "Corky Marcher, 69, of Billings, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at her home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cremation or Funeral Gallery with Pastor Lonnie Peterson officiating. Cremation will follow with inurnment later at Rosebud Ceme-tery in Absar-okee. Memorials may be made to the Assembly of God Church in Columbus.
Carletta was born in Billings, Nov. 25, 1930, where she was raised and schooled. She married Alfred "Bud" Marcher Feb. 26, 1947, in Billings and lived in the Billings area since. She loved her pets, bowling, and ceramics which she taught for several years.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Vicki (Duane) Bender of Billings and Kay (David) Kump and two grandchildren, Nicole and Jeffery Kober, all of Salt Lake City; and one half-brother, Jerry (Ann) Pettit of Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents and one half-sister.
Arrangements were by made Cremation or Funeral Gallery.

Marguerite L. Ertz
ABSAROKEE - Marguerite L. Ertz, 73, died Jan. 31, 2000, at the Beartooth Manor in Columbus.
Cremation is planned. Private family services are planned. Cremation or Funeral Gallery is in charge.

Leonard Elm
KAYCEE, Wyo. - Leonard Elm , 76, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, when struck by a vehicle two miles east of Kaycee.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the Jarrard Park Building. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, from the Harold Jarrard Park Building in Kaycee. Interment will be in the Kaycee cemetery. Friends may donate to the Harold Jarrard Park Foundation or the Hoof Prints of the Past Mueseum in care of the Adams Funeral Home.

Alice E. Austby
WIBAUX - Alice Elizabeth Swartz Austby, 81, died on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at the Wibaux County Nursing Home.
No services are planned Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home was in charge.

Cora B. Keasling
Cora B. Keasling, 85, of 1301 Industrial Avenue, Billings, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 31, 2000. She was born May 7, 1914 in Halsey, Neb., to Frank and Cora Sharpe.
Cora is survived by her daughters, Donna Lee Aarstad of Summerfield, Texas, Jean Harper and Ann Brosius, both of Billings; her two sisters, Doris Collins and Phyllis Pavey of Clyde Park; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cora Sharpe and her sisters, Rosa Sharpe, Marie Standish, Tonnie Crosby and Maxine Barragon.
Cora enjoyed reading, listening to country music and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who called her "GG".
"GG, we will never forget your homemade potato and vegetable soup and your fresh bread. Your warm loving home will be missed by all of your loved ones."
"Mom, you were not only my dearest mother, you were my best friend. I will love you forever. Jean"

Marilyn Martin
BIG TIMBER - Marilyn Martin, 74, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at her home in Big Timber.
Rosary and vigil services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Lowry Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with interment following at Mountain View cemetery.

Ingwald 'Ink' Bakken
LEWISTOWN - At the age of 93, Ingwald Bakken, formerly of Billings, died in Lewistown on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000. He was born July 26, 1906, the son of Ole T. and Ida (Braaten) Bakken, in Dawson, Minn. On June 5, 1931, he married Bella Myhr in Arnesard, N.D. She died in 1975. In 1979, Ingwald married Laura Stang in Cody, Wyo. Laura died in 1994.
Ingwald was a trapper, hunter, a dredge operator and a carpenter. He loved to tinker and build things. Ingwald played the mandolin, fiddle and several kinds of guitars and loved to entertain with his music and with his talent for photography.
His parents, six brothers and sisters and his two wives preceded Ingwald in death. Survivors include his two nieces, Loretta Strander of Buckeye, Ariz., and Willie Knipschield of Rochester, Minn., as well as his good friends, Sandra and Al Thompson.
Graveside services for Ingwald will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Dahl Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Priscilla Chadbourne
LIVINGSTON - Priscilla Chadbourne, 100, died on her birthday Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at the Diamond K Retirement Lodge.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date. Franzen-Davis Crematory was in charge.

Homer P. Pape
MEETEETSE, Wyo. - Homer P. Pape, 76, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at Powell Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Pioneer Baptist Church in Meeteetse. Interment will follow in Meeteetse cemetery.

R.N. Buswell
CODY, Wyo. - Rev. R.N. Buswell, 87, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at West Park Hospital.
Visitations will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at Ballard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at First Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in riverside cemetery.

Harold Joseph Morrison
Harold Joseph Morrison. 79, of Billings, formerly of Hardin, passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at the Valley Health Care Center in Billings.
He was born Sept. 17, 1920, a son of Joseph B. and Margaret E. Morrison in Hardin. He received schooling in Hardin and graduated from Lodge Grass High School in 1939.
Harold en-listed into the Army Air Force in 1942 serving as staff sergeant for the 89th Airdrome Squadron. He received his honorable discharge in March 1946. From 1946 to 1961, Harold farmed in the Lodge Grass area while working part time for the Agriculture and Stabilization Conservation Services in Hardin. In 1962, he began to work fulltime for the ASCS in Hardin as the Big Horn County director.
Harold married Lorraine Keller on June 15, 1965, and the couple made their home in Hardin until Harold was transferred to the Yellowstone County ASCS office in 1972. He retired in 1984.
He was a member of the Hardin Masonic St. John Lodge No. 92 AF&AM, Grand Chapter R.A.M. of Montana, Al Bedoo Shrine Temple, an active member of Provost Guard and Hospital Corps, the Jesters and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; one son, Michael (Theresa) Morrison of Billings; two daughters, Pamela Keller (Scott) Tomchick of Lynnwood, Wash., and Jule (Gary) Glasrud of Billings; one brother, Mick (Betty) Handley of Absarokee; three sisters, Bobbie Burroughs and Helen Morrison both of Billings, and June German of El Dorado Springs, Mo.; one granddaughter, Amanda Tomchick.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Bullis Funeral Chapel. Interment with Masonic Rites and Military Honors will follow in the Hardin Fairview cemetery. Should friends desire memorials may be made to the Al Bedoo Shrine Transportation Fund or Billings First United Methodist Church or charity of choice. Bullis Mortuary of Hardin has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Homer M. Rustebakke
MT. SHASTA, Calif. - Dr. Homer M. Rustebakke, 82, Scobey, Mont., native, died Jan. 21,2000, at his home in Mt. Shasta.
He was born June 7, 1917, at the farm home of his parents, Martin and Annie Rustebakke, in the Four Buttes area. He moved with his family to Thief River Falls, Minn., in 1920, returning in 1929. He graduated from Scobey High School in 1935.
After a short time in the CCC, he attended Polytechnic College in Oakland, receiving his B.S. degree in electrical engineering. He later obtained his masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his doctorate in 1969 from the Illinois Institute of Technology; all degrees in electrical engineering.
From 1941 to 1947, he was employed by Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Co. at Lima, Ohio. From 1947 until 1954, he was a professor in the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Washington. He then returned to Westinghouse, working for that company in Pittsburgh from 1954 to 1957. From 1957 until 1982, he was employed by General Electric at Schenectady, N.Y.
He became dean of the General Electric Power Systems Engineering Course at General Electric in 1964 and held that position until his retirement in 1982. He then accepted a short-term position as a professor at the West Virginia Polytechnic Institute and afterwards taught in Taiwan.
He was editor of a book, "Electric Utility Systems and Practices," which is now in its fourth edition, and was a lifetime member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
After his retirement he traveled extensively throughout the world before settling in Mt. Shasta.
He is survived by one brother, Alvin, of Scobey; a sister, Annette Shipstead Johnson of Colville, Wash., several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends throughout the world.

Victor 'Eddie' Kenitzer
MILES CITY - Victor "Eddie" Kenitzer, 54, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, at Holy Rosary Health Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the veterans section of the Mount Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyo., at 3 p.m. with full military rites.

Agnes E. Cline
LEWISTOWN - Agnes E. Cline, 75, died Monday at the Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Cloyd Chapel. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in the Central Montana Memorial Gardens at a later date. Friends may make memorials to the Myasthenia Gervis Foundation or the Diabetes Association and they may be left at the Cloyd Funeral Home.

Laurence D. Asay
LOVELL, Wyo. - Laurence D. Asay, 68, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2000.
There will be no viewing. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in the Lovell LDS Stake Center. Interment will be in the Lovell cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home is in charge.

Virginia Sawyer
THERMOPOLIS, Wyo. - Virginia Sawyer, 86, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2000.
Viewing will be at the Haskell Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, in the Thermopolis LDS Church. Interment will be in the Lovell cemetery at 3:30 p.m.

Milton G. Urs
DENTON - Milton G. Urs, 77, of Coffee Creek, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, in the United Methodist Church in Denton. Interment will follow in the Strouf Pioneer cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Central Montana Hospice, or the Central Montana Medical Center and they may be left at the Cloyd Funeral Home, who are in charge of arrangements.

Arlo W. Conner
DECKER - Arlo W. Conner, 92, died at his home, Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Sheridan Municipal cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Sheridan Senior Citizen's Center, 211 Smith St. Sheridan, WY 82801. Ferries Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

James Hellickson
SCOBEY - James Hellickson, 68, died Monday Jan. 31, 2000, in Glasgow from heart failure.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Scobey Lutheran Church. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
