GLASGOW - Ella Bondy Glazier, 90, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 20, at Our redeemer Lutheran Church in Nashua. Interment will be in Highland cemetery in Glasgow. Bell Mortuary is in charge.

Martha M. Hellyer
MILES CITY - Martha M. Hellyer, 93, formerly of Billings and Jordan, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at the Veterans Hospital in Miles City.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Jordan. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Steve's Fork cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Jordan is in charge.

Lyndon 'Red' Isaacs
CODY, Wyo. - Lyndon A. "Red" Isaacs, 76, died on Saturday, March 11, 2000, at West Park Long term Care Center in Cody.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.

Pearl Isenberger
BUFFALO, Wyo. - Pearl Isenberger, 77, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at the Johnson County Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will be at Willow Grove cemetery on Sunday, March 19. Friends may donate to the Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice in care of the Adams Funeral Home.

Iva 'Cleo' Killam
POWELL, Wyo. - Iva "Cleo" Killam, 81, died on Wednesday at the Bonnie Blue Jacket Nursing Home in Greybull.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. on Monday at Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home in Powell. Funeral services will be held at 1: p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Crown Hill cemetery.

Robert L. Pauley
MILES CITY - Robert L. "Bob" Pauley, 84, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at the Holy Rosary Health Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, at Grace Bible Church. Interment will follow in the Custer County cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge.

Charles E. Perkins
LAUREL - Charles E. Perkins, 80, of Laurel, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2000, in Laurel.
He was born Feb. 7, 1920, in Muskogee, Okla. Charles married Fannie A. Resser on Sept. 18, 1943, in Billings.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Clarence (Pat) Perkins of Billings and Paul (Marjorie) Perkins of Laurel; four granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial will be 11 a.m. Monday at Cremation or Funeral Gallery, 8th and St. Johns.

Marie Angel Bouchard Riggs
WIBAUX - Marie Angel Bouchard Riggs, age 97, of Wibaux, and formerly of Glendive, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at the Wibaux County Nursing Home.
Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17, at the Chapel of the Silvernale--Silha Funeral Home in Glendive. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jose Valliparambil and Father Joseph Ponessa officiating. Rite of Committal will be in the Dawson County cemetery in Glendive. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements.
Marie was born on Sept. 7, 1902, in Deschaillons, Quebec, Canada, the youngest of 15 children born to Paul and Celestine (Devault) Bouchard. As a young child, Marie moved to Ronan to live with her brother. She attended Sacred Heart Academy in Missoula. Following her brother's death, Marie moved to Glendive to live with her sister and brother-in--law, Cordelia and Granville Russell. She graduated from Dawson County High School in 1921.
On Oct. 21, 1925, Marie married Gerald Hagen in Glendive. To this union two children were born, John Paul and Joan Marie. Both children died one day apart in 1932 at the ages of three and two respectively. She later married Norman Wittaker in Seattle. On Oct. 13, 1959. Marie married Theodore Riggs in Seattle. She lived and worked in the Seattle area until she and Ted retired and moved to Tumwater, Wash. In January of 1991, Marie moved back to Glendive to live out her remaining years with her family close by.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Isabelle Bouchard of Sidney and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her children, her husbands and her brothers and sisters.

Karen Jean Pirrie Rodeheffer
TOPEKA, Kan. - Karen Jean Pirrie Rodeheffer, 53, Topeka, died Tuesday, March 15, 2000, at her home.
Ms. Rodeheffer was born Dec. 15, 1946, in Billings, the daughter of Whitman and Marjorie Horrell Pirrie. She was raised in Ryegate, Mont. She earned a BA in social work from the University of Montana, and a nursing degree from Stormont-Vail School of Nursing in Topeka.
She worked at the Menninger Foundation and at Topeka State Hospital as a psychiatric nurse.
She was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church and was a member of the choir. Among her numerous volunteer activities, Ms. Rodeheffer worked in the East Topeka United Methodist Church school breakfast program, worked with Take Back The Night, and served as a buddy, team leader, and board member for the Topeka AIDS Project.
She married David C. Rodeheffer on April 2, 1983, at East Topeka United Methodist Church. He survives.
Other survivors: two sons, Christopher Rodeheffer and Michael Rodeheffer of the home; daughter, Kathryn Rodeheffer of the home; mother, Marjorie Pirrie of Billings; two sisters, Marcia Bonner of Auburn, Wash., and Nancy Pietz of Billings.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Countryside United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka AIDS Project, 708 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 86603: Race Against Breast Cancer, 2835 SW Mission Woods Dr., Topeka, KS 68614; Lowman Hill Elementary PTO, 1101 SW Garfield, Topeka KS 66604.
Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Steven J. Ruby
Steven J. Ruby was born on May 14, 1957, in Billings, to Richard A. and Donna Mae Ruby. He was called home on March 14, 2000, to be with his loving creator.
Steve was raised in Billings and graduated from West High School in 1976.
In 1978, he met the love of his life, Kim Frank, and in 1983 they were married . Steve, Kim and daughter, Stevie Lynn and son, Derick Richard lived on their family ranch in Boyd.
Since 1981, he owned and operated his own siding and window business, Lynnrich, Inc. He also operated a small cattle business at his home in Boyd. He worked side by side with his wife Kim to make the business and the ranch everything that it is today and we are proud of them.
Steve loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, ranching and spending time with this family. He spent much of his time at the lake with his wife and children water rafting and wake boarding. He coached baseball for Derick and enjoyed watching Stevie play volleyball and participating in her other school activities.
He was a loving father, husband, son and brother and he will be deeply missed. He had many friends and neighbors that will miss him, too.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Mae Ruby and niece, Brandie Kay. He is survived by his wife, Kim; his daughter, Stevie Lynn and son, Derick of Boyd; his father, Richard (Dick) A. Ruby and stepmother, Jean Ruby of Billings; brothers, Rick J. Ruby of Kalispell; Robert W. Ruby of Lakeland, Fla.; and sister, Crystal K. Reichenbach of Billings. Other survivors include his grandmother, Mae Howard of Laurel; grandfather, Arthur Ruby of Superior, Wis.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March18, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. Cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Joliet Baseball Foundation, c/o Joliet Public Schools, Joliet, MT 59041.

Shirley R. Topham
Early Thursday morning March 16, 2000, Shirley R. Topham, wrapped in the loving arms of her husband and children, went to the heavens after a courageous struggle with COPD. Our loving Momma was born Oct. 3, 1931, the middle child of Irving and Nettie Spunt in Chicago. After moving to southern California in her teen years and sharing a loving family life with her brothers Herbie and Luie, she met a U.S. Marine, the love of her life, Cliff Topham.
Shirley lived her life full of love and joy and giving to others. Her beautiful smile and dancing blue eyes will forever be remembered at the mention of her name. Her joy was working with her husband and best friend of 44 years and sharing their business endeavors. She loved singing in the choir at her church, Atonement Lutheran, where she stood tall among the choir singing her strong baritone voice. Shirley's number one joy was holding and loving her eleven grandchildren.
Survivors include her devoted husband; three daughters, Debbie Harris Barnes (grandsons, Arron and Caleb), Monica (Steve) Sayler (grandson, Nathan) and Sherry (Steve) Church (grandchildren Nikki, Crystal, Austin and Tressa); one son, Cliff Jr. (grandchildren, Alexander, Christopher, Natalie and Jessica); and two brothers, Herbert Spunt and Louis Spunt Kona.
Memorial will be 2 p.m. Monday at Atonement Lutheran Church, 407 Wicks
Lane and Lake Elmo Drive with reception following. Memorials may be made to the Deaconess Billings Clinic Foundation, c/o Pulmonary Unit, P0 Box 3566, Billings, MT 59103. Arrangements were made by Cremation or Funeral Gallery.

Margery B. Weil
Margery B. Weil, age 69, of Billings died on Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at her home.
Margery was born March 8, 1931, at Napolean, N.D., the daughter of Jacob and Magdalena (Oberlander) Kranzler. On Sept. 16, 1950, she married Walter Weil in Billings and later worked as a cook for School District 2.
Mrs. Weil is survived by her husband, Walter; two sons, Leslie and wife, Jamie Weil of Missoula, and Douglas and wife, Jody Weil of Billings; a daughter, Cathlien Butler of Billings; two brothers, Irvin Kranzler of Page, Ariz., and Adolph Kranzler of Miles City; two sisters, Irene Olson of Billings and Edna Jones of Hemmett, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitations will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 17, at the Smith Downtown Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church or the charity of choice. Smith Downtown Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Tracy B. Witherspoon
Tracy B. Witherspoon, 64, died Monday, March 13, 2000, after a nine-day illness in Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle.
Tracy was born in Glasgow and upon graduating from Northern Montana College taught school for 12 years in Fort Peck and Glasgow. Tracy and her husband, Raymond G. Wiltfong, operated office supply businesses in Glasgow and Malta until his death in 1986. She successfully continued to manage the businesses until her marriage to William J. Witherspoon Jr., and subsequently moved to Billings in 1990.
Mrs. Witherspoon is survived by her husband, her sister, Jean Norby of Billings, a brother, Charles Miller Jr. of Glasgow, two daughters, Sandy Meeve of Enumclaw, Wash., Susan Wiltfong of Silesia, three sons, Ray Wiltfong of Portland, Ore., Jon Wiltfong of Glasgow, Michael Wiltfong of Eugene, Ore., three stepdaughters, Janice Nelson and Kay Ayers of Littleton, Colo., Boudicca Joseph of Big Water, Utah, and a stepson, Jud Witherspoon of Vancouver, Wash. In addition, she has six grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tracy was an active member and teacher at St. Raphael's Parish in Glasgow and attended St. Pius X and First Presbyterian Churches in Billings. She was involved in Bible study groups for many years and was a trusted friend and confident. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge and gardening. Her beautiful flowers were a joyful sight to those passing by her home. Her death is a tragic loss to her united family, close friends and to those who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 18, at First Presbyterian Church on13th St. and Poly Drive in Billings with Pastor Bruce Cameron officiating. Interment will be in Highland cemetery in Glasgow after a Memorial Mass at St. Raphael's Parish at 11 a.m., Monday, March 20. Reverend Thad Kozikowski will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to Lourdes Church in Poplar, Mont., St. Raphael's Parish in Glasgow, First Presbyterian Church in Billings or to a charity of choice.

Stuart Lee Slagsvold
Stuart Lee Slagsvold, age 51, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 14, 2000, as a result of kidney cancer. Stuart was born on June 8, 1948, in Glendive. He was the son of Leonard and Mary Slagsvold. Stuart attended grade school in Dawson County and graduated from Dawson County High School in 1966. He completed a bachelor of science degree from Eastern Montana College in Billings in 1973.
While attending college, Stuart competed on the EMC rodeo team, qualifying for the College National Finals rodeo. After graduation, Stuart taught school in Roundup and Belfry. He became an agricultural sales representative, working for Cenex, Monsanto and, most recently, Wilbur-Ellis where he was employed at the time of his death.
Stuart married Diane Latka on Sept. 17, 1971, in Glendive.
Stuart enjoyed rodeoing in younger years and was a card holder in the PRCA and a member of the Northern Rodeo Association. He later took up golf and was a member at Briarwood in Billings. He enjoyed competition and golfed in many tournaments around the state.
Stuart is survived by his wife, Diane; two children, Leigh and her husband, Justin Gipe of Greencastle, Ind., Evan of Billings; and granddaughter, Morgan Rose. Also surviving him is his mother, Mary Slagsvold of Glendive; brother, Kenny of Lindsay; sister, Linda (Don) Lange of Huntley; and sister, Shellie (Bob) Ehrmantraut of Scarborough, Maine.
Stuart was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Slagsvold in May of 1999.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services are planned for Friday, March 17, at Atonement Lutheran Church in billings, Mont. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stuart Slagsvold Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o First Interstate Bank, P.O. Box 30918, Billings, MT 59106.
