Allen Eisenbraun
EXETER, Mo. - Allen L. "Al" Eisenbraun, 50, formerly of Billings, died on Monday, March 13, 2000, at the South Barry County Hospital in Cassville following a brief illness.
Private interment will be held at a later date. Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville was in charge.

Einar A. Juntti
BAKER - Einar A. Juntti, 97, died on Monday, March 13, 2000, at the Fallon Medical Complex in Baker.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Stevenson's Funeral Home in Baker. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in the Fairview cemetery at Camp Crook, S.D.

Jack Smidt
BUTTE - Mr. Jack Smidt, of 3501 Oregon Ave. in Butte passed away Saturday morning at his home. He was born Sunday, Aug. 26, 1917, in Rapelje to Walter and Anna (Swear) Smidt. The family moved to Iowa where he started school and then returned to their homestead when Jack was a small child.
He married Mathilda M. Ott in Big Timber, on Nov. 25, 1950 and together they moved to Butte where he worked as a teamster for Evergone Trucking. He later had a paper route. Jack belonged to the Butte local of the Teamsters union, was an avid fisherman and loved to travel especially if it involved having the steering wheel in his hands.
He is survived by his wife: Mathilda Smidt of Butte, sons and daughters-in-law: Earl Smidt of Elko, Nev.; Leo and Toni Smidt, Lloyd and Judy Kilwein, Jerry and Mary Smidt all of Butte; Art and Loretta Kilwein of Billings; daughters and sons-in-law: Dolly and Ron Aamold, Shirley and Craig Britton, Marilyn and Bob Olson all of Butte; Laureen and Elroy Ammon of Billings. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Other survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law: Anna and Bob Kass of Vancouver, Wash., and Carrie and Paul Kastes of Brockway.
Mr. Smidt's remains have been cremated in Butte. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 18 in Wayrynen Richards Funeral Home. Memorials in memory of Jack may be made to the Highlands Hospice, Butte, MT 59701.

Betty Henderson Cayko
SIDNEY - Funeral services for Betty Henderson Cayko, 69, of Sidney, are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at the Lonsdale United Methodist Church with Pastor John Ulrich officiating. Interment will be in the Sidney cemetery under the direction of the Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney.
Betty was born on July 14, 1930, in Sidney, Mont., the daughter of Nickolai "Nick" and Daphna (Mielke) Olson. She grew up and attended schools in Sidney. Betty was united in marriage to Clarence Henderson on Sept. 21, 1946, in Vancouver, Wash. They lived in Astoria, Ore., until 1950, when they returned to Sidney. Betty worked a couple of places before going to work at the Wardrobe Cleaners. They purchased the cleaners in 1962. Her husband Clarence died on July of 1974. Betty closed the Wardrobe Cleaners in 1992 and retired. She was united in marriage to John Cayko on April 12, 1992, in Couer d'Alene, Idaho. They made their home on John's farm a year before moving to Sidney.
Betty was a member of the Moose Lodge and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, crocheting and sewing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She had such a loving heart. Betty gave so much to all she knew and asked so little in return.
Betty died on Friday, March 10, 2000, at the Billings Deaconess Medical Center in Billings.
Surviving her are: her husband, John Cayko; a son, Tom Henderson; a daughter, Diana (Ron) Findlay, all of Sidney; stepsons, Ivan (Sue) Cayko, Richard (Pat) Cayko, and Terry (Vicky) Cayko all of Fairview, Mont.; a step-daughter, Elaine Trudell of Fairview; two brothers, Ed (Gwen) Olson of Kennewick, Wash., and Ray Olson of Shelton, Wash.; two sisters, Selma (John) Morrow and Harriette Olson, all of Sidney; three grandchildren, Shane (Jodi) Findlay of Winnemucca, Nev., Stacy Findlay and Shannon Findlay both of Sidney; two great-grandchildren, Shay and Allyson and another on the way; a special friend, Maria Hodge and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Clarence, a baby son, and a brother, Herman Olson.

Gordon R. Cook Sr.
Gordon R. Cook Sr., 82, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2000, at Western Manor Health Care Center. He was born on Dec. 26, 1917, in Fort Ripley, Minn., to Ray and Clara Stickle Cook. He grew up and attended schools in the Brainerd area and helped deliver milk for the Cook Dairy Farm. He worked at the Northern Pacific Railroad in Brainerd.
On Sept. 16, 1943, he was united in marriage to Esther Olson in Brainerd. They lived south of Brainerd until 1961 when he was transferred and moved his family to Laurel, Mont., and later retired from Burlington Northern Railroad.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and inventing things to make life easier.
He is survived by his wife, Esther; three daughters, Nancy Lee Voorhees of Silesia, Marianne (Russ) Evans of Tacoma, Wash., and Sandra (Dale) Smith of Indianapolis, Ind.; three sons, Gordon Jr. (Colleen), David (Diana) and Arne Cook all of Billings; six grandchildren, Rick (Tracy) Tipps of Hayden, Idaho, Scott (Heide) Tipps of Missoula, Bradley (Kristy) Cook of Fullerton, Calif., Wendy (Scott) Rose of Flagstaff, Ariz., Travis Cook and Stephenie Cook of Billings; three great-grandchildren, Santha Rose, Kayla Johnson, and Caytie Tipps, and a foreign exchange granddaughter, Yuki (Pete) Heimer and son, Taizo of Osaka, Japan. Also surviving is one brother, Rev. Herbert Cook of Alta, Iowa; two sisters, Elaine Olson, Phoenix and Margaret Stenzinger of St. Paul, Minn., and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Visitations may be made at Smith West Chapel, 304 34th Street West beginning Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 16 at the LDS Avenue D Chapel, 6th Street West and Avenue D. Cremation will follow with private inurnment at Terrace Gardens Mausoleum.

Norman L. Magnesen
Norman L. Magnesen, 69, died Thursday, March 9, 2000. He was born Dec. 15, 1930, in Miles City, to Anders and Gladys Magnesen.
He graduated from Miles City High School and en-tered the U.S. Air Force. On Oct. 4, 1952, he married Mary E. Kraft.
Norman is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary; two daughters, Debra L. Campbell and Barbara L. Blutt; his brother, Bob Magnesen; his sister, Jean Webster; two grandsons, Jacob A. Campbell and Brian Blutt; three granddaughters, Jill and Aimee Blutt and Julie Currier; three great granddaughters, Raianna and Chloe Campbell and Lauren Currier and last but not least, his beloved dog, Tipper.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Carl and one grandson, Eli Campbell.
A small family service will be held Wednesday, March 15, at 10 a.m. at Cremation or Funeral Gallery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.

Leona Mae Herzog
ISMAY - Leona Mae Herzog, 69, died on Saturday, March 11, 2000, at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, at the Grace Bible Church in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Knowlton cemetery.

Clifford Fradet
CULBERTSON - Clifford Fradet, 68, died on March 13, 2000, in the Roosevelt Memorial Medical Center in Culbertson after suffering a massive stroke.
Visitations will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. The funeral service will be held following visitation at 10 a.m. at the Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Poplar City cemetery. Everson-Memorial Chapel is in charge.

Leigh 'Arlene' Ferguson
POPLAR - Leigh "Arlene" Ferguson, 60, died on March 11, 2000, in Billings, after a long battle with scleraderma.
Visitations will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, at the Lindsey Memorial Presbyterian Church with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 17, at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will be in the Poplar city cemetery. Clayton Memorial Chapel is in charge.

Darcy E. Thomas
RED LODGE - Darcy E. Thomas, 92, of Red Lodge, died Saturday afternoon, March 11, 2000, in Cedar Wood Villa.
Born on July 7, 1907, in Wanette, Okla., he was a son of Gabriel and Tennessee Thomas. The family settled in Billings, and Darcy attended high school there.
On Sept. 1, 1926 he married Jessie Burton in Columbus. They resided in Billings before settling in Red Lodge. Darcy operated a bulk propane business, had the Snap-On Tool dealership, and performed gas appliance installation before retiring.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was a member of the American Legion Carbon Post No. 17, and was a devoted member of the Beartooth Elks Lodge for many years. He had served on the Red Lodge City Council, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Jessie Thomas of Red Lodge; four nieces, Bonnie Sutton of Missoula, Jean Marilyn Jones of Bozeman, Gloria Kealy of Spokane, Wash., and DeAnn Thomas of Billings; one nephew, Larry Burton of Missoula; and one brother, Thermon (Ann) Thomas of Billings.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Addie, Beatrice and Julia; and a brother, Arnold.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 17, in the Olcott Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Red Lodge cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Beartooth Elks Scholarship Fund, Cedar Wood Villa, or to the charity of one's choice.

Milton Weisz
RIVERTON, Wyo. - Milton Weisz, 52, died suddenly in Billings on Thursday, March 9, 2000.
Viewing will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, at Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at Davis Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Mt. View cemetery in Riverton.

Florence Robson Mugnall
DEAVER, Wyo. - Florence Robson Mungall1 age 82, of Deaver, Wyo., died in Cody on Friday, March 10, 2000, after a struggle with cancer.
Florence Imogene Farnes was born July 3, 1917, in Broadview, Mont. She was the second child of Oscar and Leora Farnes. She started school in Broadview. The family later moved to Hay Basin Community, between Broadview and Roundup. Florence received her high school diploma in 1932.
She married Kenneth Robson in Roundup, Mont., on Dec. 14, 1934. Two of her children were born in Roundup, Bonnie and David. Ken and Flo and their family lived in Belfry, Mont., and Billings before moving to Deaver in 1948. Their third child, Kenneth Robson Jr. was born April 29, 1949.
For the next fifty years, she worked as a cook, a waitress, a postmistress, a town clerk, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother and a 4-H leader. She traveled to Germany, England, Mexico, Hawaii and most of the states. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Birthday Club and Homemakers Club. In her spare time, she loved to travel with her friends and bowling companions to compete in state and national bowling tournaments.
Her husband, Kenneth, died in 1958. She married Robert Mungall in May of 1960. Bob died in November of 1975. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raleigh, Orville and Robert; and her daughter, Bonnie. She is survived by her brothers, Harold, Clyde, Bill and Gene Farnes; her two sons, David and wife, Yvonne, and Kenneth and wife, Debbie; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Deaver, Wyoming Methodist Church on Saturday, March 17, at 1 p.m. Those wishing may make donations to Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, 1025 9th St., Cody, WY 82414 in Florence's memory.

Nancy S. Pearson
SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Nancy Stillman Pearson, 77, died on March 5, 2000, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church at a later date. Kane Funeral Home is in charge.

Richard C. Lam
Richard Charles Lam, 61 of Billings, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, in Billings. The son of James and Orma (Proctor) Lam, he was born April 9, 1938, in Casper, Wyo.
Survivors include his two sisters, Clarice Beck of Helena and Linda Lam of Billings.
Cremation has taken place and family services will be held at a later date. Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist had charge of arrangements.

Christine Marthaler
MILES CITY - Christine "Chris" Marthaler, 72, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at the Holy rosary Extended Care Unit.
Prayer services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, in the chapel of Stevenson Sons Funeral Home. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in the Custer County cemetery.

Jesus A. Sandoval
POWELL, Wyo. - Jesus A. Sandoval, 70 and formerly of Powell, died on March 10, 2000, in El Paso, Texas.
Christian wake with the rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, at Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Barbara's Catholic Church with interment to follow in the Crown Hill cemetery.
