Donna R. Buxbaum
SIDNEY - Funeral services for Donna Buxbaum, age 45 of Sidney, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at the Pella Lutheran Church, Pastor Perry Blanchard will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sidney cemetery under the direction of the Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney.
Donna Ree was born on Feb. 3, 1955, in Sidney, to parents, David and Margaret Patricia "Pat" McMillen. Donna grew up and attended rural schools in Brorson School. Went to high school in Sidney, graduated with the class of 1973. During high school she was active in 4-H. She attended UND in Williston, before transferring to Montana State, in Bozeman, where she received her degree in Home Economics. She started her teaching career in Flaxville, Mont. On July 25, 1981, Donna was united in marriage to Greg Buxbaum in Sidney. Donna attended summer school and received her library degree. In 1982, she taught school at Savage High School, until 1996, when she was forced to retire due to ill health.
Donna enjoyed her church, sewing, reading, rubber stamping and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Also, enjoyed taking her children to gymnastics and wrestling.
Donna died Saturday morning, March 4, 2000, at her home in Sidney following a long straggle with cancer.
Donna is survived by her husband, Greg, of Sidney; sons, Patrick and Jace, of the family home, Sidney; daughters, Laurel and BreAnne, of the family home, Sidney; father, David McMillen and wife, Sharon, of Sidney; brothers, Jerry McMillen and wife, Leslie, and Kyle McMillen and wife Karen, of Sidney; and a sister, Terri Zadow and husband Greg, of Sidney.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Pat, infant brother and sister.

Robert W. 'Bob' Baker
HYSHAM - Robert W. "Bob" Baker, 70, of the Hysham area, died Sunday March 5, 2000, at his daughter's home in Hysham, where he succumbed to a five-year battle with cancer,
Bob was born March 2, 1930, in Hysham, the son of Bernard W. and Estella Broadbent Baker. He grew up and attended grade school at the home ranch on Bear Creek, graduating from Hysham High School in 1949.
On Jan. 1, 1951, Bob married Maybelle Slough in Hardin. She passed away in November of 1980,
Bob was a rancher all his life and shared his experiences with many people. He had a great love for animals and the big outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his three children: his son, Brad Baker of the family ranch; two daughters, Denise Batey and husband, Randy also of the family ranch, Robin Racki and husband, Mike of Hysham; eight grandchildren and three great- grandchildren; three sisters, Bernice Criswell and Betty Courteau both of Miles City; Nadine Stack and husband, Charles of Lyons, Ore.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the Beals Mortuary Chapel in Forsyth with interment to follow in the family lots at the Forsyth cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. Beals Mortuary of Forsyth is assisting the family with these arrangements.

Jennie L. Holzworth
MILES CITY - Jennie L. Holzworth, 91, died Monday, March 6, 2000, in Gettysburg, S.D.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with burial in the family lot of Custer County cemetery.

Teddy Wodenthigh
ASHLAND - Teddy Wodenthigh, 73, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at Lame Deer IHF Clinic.
Wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at St. Labre Mission Catholic Church near Ashland. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, also at the church. Interment will be in St. Labre cemetery. Rausch Funeral Home of Lame Deer is in charge.

Wayne W. Franks
GILLETTE, Wyo. - Funeral services for Wayne W. Franks, 35, of Gillette, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette with Rev. Derf of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Billings, Mont., as officiant.
Mr. Franks died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette from injuries sustained in a pipeline accident.
Wayne William Franks was born March 30, 1964, at Livingston, Mont., to Jerrold J. and Elizabeth M. (McDaniel) Franks. He grew up in that area and later moved to Buffalo, Wyo., where he graduated from high school. In high school, several colleges scouted him to play football.
He married Judy (Nicholas) Rockel on July 25, 1993, at Buffalo, Wyo. They moved to Gillette in August 1997. He worked for Dixon Brothers when he first came to Gillette and later for Cole's Construction where he was employed at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Franks of Gillette; children, Erika of Sheridan, Wyo., Christi of Casper, Wyo., Jessica of Gillette, Joseph of Gillette; his parents, Jerold and Elizabeth Franks of Billings, Mont.; a sister, Juanita Hansen and family of Livingston, Mont.; a brother, Robert Franks and family of Hinesville, Ga., and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tracey Franks on Jan. 7, 1995, paternal grandparents, Jake and Myrle Franks and a maternal grandfather, Robert McDaniel. A memorial has been established in Wayne's name. Donations may be sent in care of Wilson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 734, Gillette, WY 82717.

Marvin Schock
Marvin Schock, 69, died peacefully on March 4, 2000, at St. Vincent's Hospital. The son of George and Rosina (Wolf) Schock, Marvin was born March 3, 1931, at Long Lake, S.D. He was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church in Long Lake.
He attended grade school in Long Lake and high school at Eureka, S.D. On May 13, 1951, Marvin married Fern Gross at Ashley, N.D. They lived on the family farm until 1955. He owned and operated a bar in Ashley until moving to Billings in 1960. Marvin worked for Gambles on Grand Avenue for 17 years before purchasing the Gambles store in Forsyth. He operated that store for 8 years before returning to Billings where he and his wife managed a motel and apartment complex until retiring in 1993.
He enjoyed watching all of the high school basketball games, playing pinochle with friends and buying and selling antiques. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Survivors include his wife, Fern of Billings; son, Brian and wife, Diane, and two grandchildren, Kyle and Kadee of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two sisters, Alice (Sanrow) Koerner of Eureka, S.D. and Vina (Oscar) Roll of North Hills, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dave, and son Tim.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, or the charity of one's choice.
Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist has charge of arrangements.

John I. Jacobs
SHERIDAN, Wyo. - John I. Jacobs, 62, died Sunday, March 4, 2000, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kane Funeral Home. Private family interment will be held at a later date.

Edward 'Eddie' Johnson
BASIN, Wyo. - Edward "Eddie" Owen Johnson, 82, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Atwood Family Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church with burial in Mount View cemetery.

C. Gene Klinger
WORLAND, Wyo. - C. Gene Klingler, 65, died Friday, March 3, 2000, at his home after a short battle with cancer.
Memorial services were held Sunday at the United Methodist Church. Bryant Funeral Home was in charge.

Ruth Nellermoe
SIDNEY - Ruth Elizabeth Nellermoe, 94, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at the Sidney Health Center-Extended Care Facility.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at Fulkerson Memorial Chapel in Sidney with burial in the Sunnyside cemetery in McKenzie County, N.D.

Paul Henry Feldmann
BEACH, N.D. - Paul Henry Feldmann, 79, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, in Bismarck.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Beach with burial in the Beach Lutheran cemetery. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home is in charge.

Hannah E. Gazelle
Hannah E. Gazelle, 86, died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at Valley Health Care Center. Hannah was born in Hesper, Mont., on Feb. 25, 1914, to Henry and Eva Bender, the third of 13 children. She spent her childhood years in Montana and Washington. Hannah married George Schneider on June 30, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1939. She then married Robert Gazelle on Dec. 19, 1953. He died in 1977. Hanna lived in California for several years before returning to Laurel in 1983. She enjoyed spending time with her family and singing with her church choir.
She is survived by a son, Walter (Mary) Schneider of Billings; a daughter, LuAnn Minnick of Paradise, Calif.; a sister, Lillian Griffin of Yakima, Wash.; four brothers, Emanuel (Laura) Bender of Harlowton, Mont., Fred Bender of Yakima, George Bender of Tacoma, Wash., Bill Bender of Grandview, Wash.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Hannah was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rosemary; two sisters and five brothers.
Services will at 2 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Laurel with interment in Laurel cemetery.
Cremation or Funeral Gallery is in charge of arrangements.

Leslie Jean (Bryson) Lackman
Leslie Jean (Bryson) Lackman died March 5, 2000, at her home after a six year battle with cancer. She was born Sept. 3, 1949, to Robert and Helen (Leslie) Bryson. She graduated from Billings Senior High in 1967 and attended Eastern Montana College. Leslie worked for Montana Power Co. for nearly 21 years. She liked to travel, try new things and be around people. She is survived by daughters, Cori and Carrie Lackman of Billings; best friend, Dan Josephson of Billings; mother, Helen Bryson of Billings; brother, Rob and Debbie Bryson of Hardin; nieces, Erica and Kelly Bryson. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bryson. The family would like to thank Big Sky Hospice and friends that were of such great help and support. Memorials are suggested to Big Sky Hospice or Atonement Lutheran Church. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. held Wednesday March 8, at Atonement Lutheran Church.

Nettie Catherine Jackson
BRADENTON, Fla. - Nettie Catherine Jackson, 91, died Thursday, March 2, 2000.
Born April 30, 1908, in Racine, Wis., she grew up in Sheffield, near Miles City, and received her teacher's degree from Eastern Montana College-Billings.
For 10 years, she taught elementary school in Laurel before moving to California in the early 1940s.
In 1997, she moved to Bradenton from Santa Rosa, Calif.
She was a member of the California Teachers Association.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Johnson of Joliet and 12 nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Montana.
Brown and Sons Funeral Homes, 43rd St. Chapel in Bradenton, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.

Robert W. (Bob) Baker
