D. Keith Williams
RATHDRUM, Idaho – D. Keith Williams, 42, formerly of Billings, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, in Rathdrum.
He was born Nov. 30, 1957, in Livingston, Mont., to Donald and Margie (Lee) Williams and was raised in Livingston. He moved to Billings, Mont., in 1966 then to Spokane in 1990.
He enjoyed playing darts, fishing and sports.
He is survived by father and stepmother, Donald and Betty Williams of Livingston; mother, Margie B. Stafford of Billings; brothers, Vince Williams of Billings, Danny Williams of Livingston, Guy Williams of Woodburn, Ore., Bill McDonald of Travis AFB, Calif., and Barry McDonald of Manhattan, Mont.; sister, Pam Frederick of Liberty Lake, Wash.; two nephews and six nieces and grandfather, Mearl Williams of Livingston.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Richard and Alyne Lee and Grandmother, Irene Williams.
A memorial gathering was held in Rathdrum by family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at Emmigrant, Mont.

Betty Mae Woslager
SHERIDAN, Wyo. – Betty Mae Woslager, 73, died Friday, April 21, 2000.
Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday at Kane Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at Holy Name Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Elks cemetery.

Winnie Carrico
LIVINGSTON – Winnie Carrico, 96, died Friday, April 21, 2000, at Livingston Health and Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Franzen Davis Funeral Home. Graveside committal and interment will be in Park View Gardens cemetery.

Herman Lehman
WORLAND, Wyo. – Herman Lehman, 85, died on Thursday, April 20, 2000, at Community Care of America.
Viewing will be from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Veile Mortuary and from 8 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens cemetery.

David Arlington Thatcher Jr.
David Arlington Thatcher Jr. (Poppie) went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2000.
The son of David and Ruth Thatcher, he was born on Sept. 19, 1921, in Nunda, N.Y. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years, including one year aboard the battleship USS Arkansas. He married Annette Keyzer of Santa Ana, Calif., on Dec. 25, 1956, in Kaneohe, Hawaii. David worked for the Indian Health Service, retiring in 1977. He was a life member of Billings Elks Lodge No. 394 and a volunteer officer for the Sheriffs Reserve for many years. He was an active member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where he sang in the choir.
Survivors include his wife, Annette; daughter, Rebecca (Douglas) Taylor and beloved grandchildren, Crystal and Edward Taylor, all of Billings; brother, Robert (Sharon) Thatcher; nephew, Todd Thatcher and family all of Perry, N.Y. and niece, Tracey Swanson and family of Eugene, Ore.
We love you and will miss you, “Poppie.”
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at First Christian Church, 522 N. 29th St.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church or Big Sky Hospice.

Ruth Montana Braziel
DENVER, Colo. – Ruth Montana Braziel, 93, died in Denver, Colo., on Thursday, April 20, following complications of a heart attack. She was born in Billings in 1906 but shortly thereafter moved with her family to Gebo, Wyo. Returning to Billings in 1923, Ruth graduated from Billings High School in 1924.
Active in business throughout her life, Ruth held a variety of positions with, among others, Foley Bros. Wholesale Grocery, Chandler Todd Company, Armour & Co., and the Montana-Wyoming Association of Credit Men. In the late 1930s and early 1940s, Ruth and her mother owned and operated The Pie Shop in downtown Billings – making what many thought were the lightest pie crusts in creation.. In 1949 Ruth and her sisters purchased the Paris Beauty Supply Co. of Salt Lake City. The business was moved to Billings in 1959 where it grew to be one of the largest beauty supply businesses in Montana. Ruth and her sisters sold the company in 1977. While continuing to maintain their home in Billings, Ruth and her sisters started spending part of their time in Mesa, Ariz., in 1979 and moved to Denver in 1996.
Ruth was active in the Billings community. A charter member of the Billings Zonta Club, an organization of professional women, she later served as its president. She was a devoted member of the Mayflower Congregational Church.
Ruth traveled extensively, loved to ballroom dance, often dressed in purple and, in her later years, was a diehard Denver Broncos fan. Tiny in stature, she had a warm smile that lit up a room and a gentle manner that captivated children.
Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Beulah Walters, and her brothers, Wayne Braziel and Kenneth Braziel. She is survived by her sister, Zola Betz, and her niece, Evelyn McClearn, both of Denver; her sisters-in-law, Helen Braziel of Billings and Marvel Braziel of Santa Fe; nieces, Kathryn Braziel of Albuquerque, Dr. Rita Braziel of Portland, Ore., Janet Braziel of Corrales, N.Mex.; nephew, Richard Braziel of Albuquerque; and numerous grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the Mayflower Congregational Church, Poly Drive and Rehberg Lane in Billings, Mont.

Eugene Wilcoxon
SCOBEY – Eugene Wilcoxon, 77, passed away Friday, April 21, 2000, at Francis Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow after a long illness.
Funeral services will held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the Scobey United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Scobey cemetery.

Ethel DeGuire Johnston
CONRAD – Ethel DeGuire Johnston, 94, passed away Friday, April 21, 2000, at the Pondera Medical Center of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the First Presbyterian Church in Conrad. Burial will be held at 3 p.m. at the Crown Hill cemetery in Cut Bank. Pondera funeral home is handling the arrangements.

May Mary Blom
May Mary Blom, 99, of Billings went to be with her Lord, April 22, 2000.
May was born July 9, 1900, in Marshal Minn., the daughter of John and Kathryn Hinn. May was united in marriage to Jacob Sayler in March of 1916, they were blessed with seven children. May’s husband preceded her in death, Aug. 10, 1936. On Nov. 21, 1941, May was united in marriage to Roy Blom and they were blessed with a son Roy Gale “Sonny” Blom. He died at age six. Together May and Roy enjoyed cooking at the Northwest Bible College for 21 years. May was a life member of the Church of God.
Survivors include her husband Roy D. Blom of Billings; her three daughters, Phyllis Blom, Carol (Carl) Larson, and Donna (Carl) Love, all of Billings; son-in-law Joe Uecker of Billings, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Malloy and the Western Manor Nursing Home for the wonderful care extended to our beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the Dahl Funeral Chapels in Billings. Private Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Jimmy L. Jackson
ROUNDUP – Jimmy L. Jackson, 59, of Roundup passed away Thursday April 20, 2000, at St. Vincent hospital due to complications from an extended battle with cancer.
Jimmy was born May 25, 1940, in Big Park, Sedona, Ariz., to Ed and Dorothy Dickens Jackson and grew up in the Verde Valley in Arizona. He owned his own contracting businesses in Arizona and for the past ten years has been ranching in Roundup, Mont.
preceded in death by both parents, Jimmy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Janeen; his only son, James Jackson of Cottonwood, Ariz.; brothers, Eddie Jackson of Cottonwood, Tom Jackson of Mesquite, Nev., Wayne Cannell of Yuma, Ariz.; and a sister, Dottie Jackson of Camp Verde, Ariz.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the Wier Funeral Chapel. Funeral will be held Wednesday, April 26, 10 a.m., at the Roundup Community Center. Interment will follow at the Roundup City cemetery.

Clara Francis
BUFFALO, Wyo. – Private interment for Clara “Clayre” Francis, 76, will be held by her family. Friends may donate in her memory to the Suzie Bowling Lawrence Hospice in care of Adams Funeral Home who are in charge of all arrangements.

Kelly Lynn McCollum
Kelly Lynn McCollum, 18, daughter of Stephen and Carole McCollum of Billings, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2000, at her home following a short illness.
Kelly was born Feb. 5, 1982, in Cortland, N.Y., and attended school in Cortland, and Billings West High. Kelly was a very special girl who shared her love with everyone.
She was a member of Grace Methodist Church.
Survivors include her parents of Billings; her sister Kyanne McCollum of Billings and brother Stephen W. McCollum, Jr. of Oklahoma City Okla.; her grandparents, George and Bea McCollum of Syracuse, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Stanley and Jessie Nichols and her aunt, Sandra McCollum.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Smith West Chapel, 304 34th St. W. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Interment will be at Terrace Garden cemetery.

GILLETTE – Hugh Wright Hamilton, 53, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at the VA Medical Center.
Interment will be held in the Black Hills National cemetery, Sturgis, S.D. Arrangements are with Kane Funeral Home.

Daniel Joe Dunlap
BOZEMAN – Daniel Joe Dunlap, 40, of Bozeman, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at the Virginia Mason Clinic in Seattle due to complications from surgery.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lewistown. Interment will be in Lewistown City cemetery. The Creel Funeral Home of Lewistown is in charge.
