FARGO, N.D. – Marjorie N. Indergaard, 81, formerly of Billings, died on Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at MeritCare Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ivers-Landblom Funeral Home Chapel, and also one hour before the service in the chapel on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery.

Donald E. Butchart
CODY, Wyo. – Donald Edward Butchart, 74, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 12, at Ballard Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Riverside cemetery.

Leland (Lee) Alfred Prewett
Lee Prewett, 48, of Billings died June 8, 2000, in Billings of a massive coronary.
Lee was born October 5, 1951, the third son of Francis G. (Sam) and Opal (Premo) Prewett in Billings. The family lived in the Fromberg area until 1956, when they moved to Billings. He was named for his paternal grandfather and special great uncle. Lee attended Taft Elementary, Riverside Junior High and graduated in the class of 1969 at Billings West High. He married the love of his life, Barbara Donnes, on March 21, 1971, in Billings.
In Lee’s earlier years he worked at Valley Nursing Home and Carl Weisman & Sons. He later became a partner in the family business, Y-V Fertilizer. He also farmed several years with Barbara’s uncle, Frank Donnes at Big Horn, Mont., eventually coming back to the family business in 1990.
Lee was a man of many talents, having great knowledge and appreciation of equipment, understanding creation and the meaning of life, enjoying fishing, being a father and especially being a grandfather, and always being there to help anyone in need. Lee was always there to lend an ear and a helping hand. We will greatly miss his patience, kindness, and understanding. Thank you, Lee.
He leaves the family that he cherished, his loving wife, Barbara; daughter, Christy; son, Brian; his grandchildren, Kaylee and Conner, the apples of his eye; his mother, Opal Prewett; brother and best friend, Mark Prewett and wife, Jodie; sister, Susan and husband, Mike Abfalder; brother, Earl Prewett and wife, Carol; brother, Dennis Prewett and wife, Yvonne; brother-in-law, Frank and Cindy Donnes; brother-in-law, Ed and Shelly Donnes; sister-in-law, Toni and Clyde Brandt; sister-in-law, Patty Donnes; bother-in-law, Jackie and Heather Welch; sister-in-law, Deanna Donnes; one paternal uncle, Wes and Judy Prewett; one maternal aunt, Orpha Prewett; his mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law, Vi and Jack Welch; grandmother-in-law, Rose Lindeman; nieces and nephews, Lisa, Jenny, Nancy, Thomas, Jimmy, Darren, Jamie, Lisa, Lindsey, Keelie, Chris, Ryan, Jessie, Justin, Brianna, Donny; many, many special friends and cousins, including a special couple, Erma and Norman Nelson.
Lee was preceded in death by his father (June 11, 1981); his grandparents, Ray and Anna Premo, Alfred and Lala Prewett; uncles, Jim and Ray (Sweede); and his special cousin, Carmen Hammer.
Lee was loved and will be missed by many. Those who knew Lee will remember his special sense of humor, his grandfatherly special touch, his love for family, especially his Barbie, and his sense of right makes right and wrong makes wrong.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 12, at Dahl Chapel-Billings with interment at Rockvale cemetery; reception following interment at Fromberg Legion Hall. Arrangements handled by Dahl Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be sent to the Boys & Girls Club of Billings, 505 Orchard Lane, Billings, MT 59101.

Norman Dean Stahlecker
BUTTE – Mr. Norman Dean Stahlecker passed away Thursday morning in Butte.
He was born in Coffee Creek, Mont., on Jan. 8, 1928, to Otto and Ella (Grimmert) Stahlecker and was raised in the Harlowton area where he worked on several area ranches.
In 1953, he married the former Helen Barnes and the couple had five children. In 1966, the family moved to Butte where Norman worked in highway construction. His last job was working as a teacher assistant for the Special Education Department with Butte School District No. 1. He always said that this was the most enjoyable and best job he ever had.
Norman and Helen divorced in 1974 and in 1975 he met Helen Segulia. They lived as man and wife until her death in 1990.
Mr. Stahlecker is survived by sons, Dumond Stahlecker of Lemitar, N.M., Lance Stahlecker of Grants, N.M., Curtis Stahlecker of Helena and Cole Stahlecker of Coalville, Utah; daughter, Holly Wells of Mosier, Ore; six grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Mary Stahlecker of Milnor, N.D.; sister and brother-in-law, Cecile and Domingo Martirena of Buffalo, Wyo. He is also survived by his good friends, Mike and Tina Butori of Butte.
In accordance with his requests, Mr. Stahlecker’s remains have been cremated in Butte and no services are planned at this time. Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home of Butte is in charge of arrangements.

Robert ‘Bob’ Gerald Marcus
ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Mr. Robert Gerald "Bob" Marcus, age 53, of Alpharetta, died June 1, 2000
Survivors include his sister, Lynne Nesbitt and nephew, Bryan Nesbitt both of Alpharetta; aunt Betsy and uncle Wayne Marcus of Big Timber, Mont., aunt Cherrie and uncle Woodrow Marcus of Lacey, Wash., aunts Mrs. Libby Wikstrom, Mesa, Ariz., and Ms. Ann Sulyma, Port Carbon, Pa.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Martha Marcus. Memorial services were held Saturday, June 3, in Alpharetta. Interment will take place at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National cemetery in August. The family suggests contributions to the Village for Just People, P.O. Box 1144, Snellville, GA 30078-1144.

Donald E. Butchart
CODY, Wyo. – Donald Edward Butchart, 74, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 12, at Ballard Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Riverside cemetery.

John Mason Gutz
SHERIDAN, Wyo. – John Mason Gutz, 75, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, in Sheridan Manor after an extended illness.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, from the First Congregational Church. Ferries Funeral Home is in charge.

Gladys Hacker
MILES CITY – Gladys Hacker, 96, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at the Holy Rosary Health Center.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 12, in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, in the Sheridan cemetery in Auburn, Neb.

Harold Hammerberg
LEWISTOWN – Harold E. Hammerberg, 75, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at the Central Montana Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Creel Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Central Montana Memorial Gardens.

Andrew A. ‘Andy’ Jamieson Jr.

ROBERTS – Andrew A. “Andy” Jamieson Jr., 66, of Roberts, died Thursday morning, June 8, 2000, in Billings Deaconess Medical Center.
Born in Pueblo, Colo., on Aug. 27, 1933, Andy was a son of Andrew A. and Elizabeth Jamieson. He was raised and educated in Pueblo and served in the U.S Army during the Korean Conflict.
Andy was employed by Asphalt Supply Co. for 33 years, moving to Laurel in 1985. There he met Joyce, and they were married in Lander, Wyo. They resided in Laurel until February of 1986 when they settled on their ranch at Roberts. Having his own place was a dream come true for Andy, and he enjoyed helping his Roberts neighbors with irrigating and haying. He was a member of the Roberts Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Jamieson of Roberts; one daughter, Kathy (Jim) Autry of Wagon Mound, N.M.; two step-sons, Ken (Cheri) Hitshew of Rapid City, S.D., and Tim (Linda) Hubbard of Gillette, Wyo.; two sisters, Corrine (Mick) Wilson of Pueblo, and Ellen (Walt) Bassett of Beulah, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, in the Olcott Funeral Chapel in Red Lodge. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be given to the Roberts Volunteer Fire Dept., or to the charity of one’s choice.

Melvin S. Jensen
PLENTYWOOD – Melvin S. Jensen, 66, died of natural causes at his home on Thursday, June 1, 2000.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Fulkerson Memorial Chapel. Interment of cremated remains, with military honors, will follow in Plentywood cemetery.

Charles Mikolich
GARDINER – Charles Mikolich, 82, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at his home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday, June 12, until the time of the service at 2 p.m. at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home in Livingston. Graveside committal and interment will follow at Park View cemetery.

Gary C. Peters
Gary C. Peters, 46, of Billings, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000.
No services are planned. Cremation at Cremation or Funeral Gallery.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. – Thomas P. Rice, 75, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at Sheridan Manor.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Dayton Community Church in Dayton, Wyo. Champion Funeral Home is in charge.
