Chuck was born March 3, 1969, in Billings. He was raised in Pryor, Mont., on horses and in creeks with his hero Amy, two tattling little sisters, and many troublemaking cousins. Throughout life, Chuck made a lasting impression on people with his gifts of honesty, empathy and love. He was a fun spirit who told stories and created a lot of laughter.
Chuck’s life was devoted to one woman and three little girls. They are his wife, Marie, and his daughters DezMarie (9), Destiny (6) and Charlize (4). Chuck suffered a devastating fall in 2001. His body was badly broken and he had undergone seven major surgeries up until now. He has but he recently told his sister that the circumstances created by his accident had allowed him to develop priceless relationships with his daughters. He said that despite the pain he would not trade the experience. Chuck died instantly after his car slipped on a slick Washington road and hit a tree on Nov. 7, 2005. He was 36 years old.
