Lynwood Dale Big Leggins
Lynwood Dale Big Leggins, 36, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2004 in Frazer, MT. He was born October 12, 1968 in Lakewood, California to Edith and Garrett Big Leggins, Sr.
He attended schools in Frazer. He was firefighter until he was injured. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, and even chase girls. Lynwood was better known to his family and friends as 'Woody'. Woody liked to play bingo and poker at the casino and liked to be around people. He especially liked to be with his nephew, Raymond Johnston. He enjoyed cooking for all of his nephews and nieces. Woody was well liked by everybody and had many, many friends
Woody is survived by his son Jerome of Wolf Point, daughter Jacinta of Frazer and Kimberly of Wolf Point, his parents Garrett and Edith Big Leggins of Frazer, brothers and sisters Garret (Margret) Big Leggins of Poplar, Roger Dean and daughter of Arizona, Sarah (Wilbur) Keiser of Billings, Garrett (Wanda) Big Leggins, Jr. of Frazer, Juanita (Maynard) Jones of Poplar, John Big Leggins of Frazer, Lori (Marion) Ackerman of Billings, Robert (Rose) Big Leggins, Shanon (Lynette) Big Leggins all of Frazer, Tanya Big Leggins and Vickie Big Leggins, both of Billings, Georgia Lynstrin of Dallas, TX, Johnny Kay of Las Vegas and Dorothy of New York City, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and twin sisters.
There will be a candlelight service on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 7:30 pm at his residence in Frazer. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 from 2 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 pm at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at 10 am at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in St. Joseph cemetery in Frazer. There will be a feed following the interment.

Casey Stroehman
William Casey Stroehman, age 16, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2007 at his home at Otter, Montana.
Casey was born on December 27, 1990 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the son of Karen Gaskins. He was raised in Clarksburg, West Virginia where he started grade school. He moved with his family to the ranch at Otter in September of 2000. He began his schooling in Broadus, where he attended Powder River High School.
Casey was active in football since the 6th grade. He enjoyed hunting, target shooting and was an avid gun collector. He also enjoyed raising bum claves, wrestling calves, and listening to music, everything from old rock and roll to Celtic music. He was good at fixing fence and was very artistic and creative. Casey also loved to spend time working on his old car, a '76 Oldsmobile Cutlass.
Casey is survived by his mother, Karen Pino and her husband Tom of Otter, MT; his grandmother, Mary K. Gaskins of Parkersburg, WV; a sister, Jennifer K. Galloway and her husband Matt and their son Maddox of Columbia, MO; a step brother, Lorin Pino and his wife Jennifer of Bethany, MO; and a great aunt, Phyllis Stalnaker and her husband Richard of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Katherine and Norval Tutwiler and his grandfather, Edward A. Gaskins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Powder River Congregational Church in Broadus. Interment will be held at a later date.
Should friends desire, a memorial has been established in Casey's name and may be sent to Karen Pino at HC 39 Box 40, Otter, MT 59062.

Molly Grace Stecher
Molly Grace Stecher, precious tiny baby girl of Brad and Catherine (Buck) Stecher, was born and called to heaven on January 10, 1007 in Billings, MT.
Molly is survived by her parents Brad and Catherine, big sister Lillian all of Billings, MT, her grandparents; Jim Hinman of Miles City, Paula and Don Wargo of Roundup, Pat and Penny Stecher of Everett, WA and David Erlandson of Sedro-Woolley, WA. Great-Grandparents; Glen and Mary Ann Seehorn of Mt. Vernon, WA, and Margrate Viall of LaFlorr, Fl and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandma Patricia Erlandson, paternal Great-Grandparents, Bill and Betty Stecher, Maternal Great Grandparents; Oris and Lucile Warford, Bill Viall and Richard Hinman.
Molly will be forever loved and missed dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 11:20 am at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County cemetery in Miles City.

Teigen Vander Esch
Teigen Dean Vander Esch, age 11, of Miles City, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at his home in Miles City after a courageous battle with cancer.
Teigen was born in Naples, Florida on December 9, 1994, the son of Ivan and Lujean (Pfister) Vander Esch. He moved with his family to Dickinson, North Dakota in June of 1998 then onto Miles City in November of 2002. While in Miles City he attended Garfield School where he was currently in the fifth grade.
Teigen enjoyed playing flag football, soccer and baseball. He was active in his church and activities at the church.
Teigen is survived by his parents, Ivan and Lujean Vander Esch of Miles City, MT; his grandparents: Severt and Christina Vander Esch of Hawarden, IA; Rudolph and Barbara Pfister of Veyo, UT formerly of Roundup, MT; two brothers: Brennan and Colton Vander Esch both of Miles City, MT; three sisters: Kali Vander Esch of Orem, UT, Sevina and Shilo Vander Esch of Miles City, MT; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends are encouraged to come during the visitation to sign a message on Teigen's casket. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Custer County cemetery in Miles City.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made for a headstone for Teigen.

Theresa Lynn Two Two Lahti
Theresa Lynn Two Two originally from Ashland, was called home to be with 'Maheo' after a courageous battle with lead poisoning.
Theresa Lynn was born on October 22, 1968 at Lame Deer, MT to the proud mother of Amanda Two Two. She was raised along the Tongue River by her mother and grandmother, the late Thelma Two Two. Theresa attended schools at Ashland Public, Colstrip and graduated from St. Labre. After working various jobs in the Ashland, MT and Wyoming area she later became an LPN at the University Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.
Theresa Lynn was the proud mother of four sons; Halo, the twins Rodney and Roni and J.P. Tuff. She was very proud of her boys and supported them in all their endeavors. Theresa was Amanda's only child and was loved and will be missed by all.
Theresa was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard Shoulderblade, Steve Sr. and Thelma Two Two; her uncles, Raymond, Steve Jr. and Calvin Two Two Sr.; and her aunt Theresa Two Two.
Theresa is survived by her mother Amanda Dillard and stepfather Roger Dillard Sr.; her sons, Halo Harris, Roni and Rodney Schonenbach and John Paul Tuff Lahti, her husband Paul Lahti of Houston, Alaska; her uncles, Emil, Fraser, Marvin and Vincent Two Two; her aunts, Geraldine Fisher, Delores White Crow, Donna Paul; her grandmothers, Inez, Amy and Nellie Foote; her sisters that she was raised with, Thelma (Fisher) Hart and Yolonda Fraser 'Ras. This is just Theresa's immediate family for she has an extended family to numerous to mention. Which includes the Footes, Fishers, Harris', Little Whitemans, Shoulderblades and Whitedirts. Out deepest apologies go out to anyone we may have forgotten.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Labre Mission in Ashland. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of these arrangements.

Niki & Alauna Rich
NICOLE ELIZABETH (FOGLE) RICH
Nicole 'Niki' E. Rich, age 26 of South Fork, Colorado, formerly of Jordan, Montana, was killed on June 11, 2006 as a result of an automobile accident on La Veta Pass near Walsenberg, Colorado along with her young daughter, Alauna RaShell Rich, age 8.
Niki was born July 27, 1979 in Miles City, Montana, the daughter of Tim Fogle and Shelley (Hageman) Fogle both of Jordan. She attended school at Jordan Elementary School and then high school at Garfield County District High School both in Jordan, Montana. Upon graduation, she married Kirk Rich of Sand Springs, Montana on September 26, 1998 in Jordan. Kirk works Construction so the family moved as needed. In 1999, they lived in Moriarty, NM when Alexandra Nicole was born in Albuquerque, NM on November 11th. Then in 2003, they lived in Central City, CO and Aurianna Shanille was born in Golden, CO on November 2nd.
Niki will be missed most as a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend to all. She will be remembered for her bubbly, fun-loving spirit, and extreme love for her family and friends. She was an awesome communicator, thanks to email, the post office and telephone. There was never a shortage of picture taking with Niki around. She always did a wonderful job with her pictures and scrap booking.
Nicole is survived by her husband - Kirk Rich, South Fork, CO; two daughters: Alexandra Nicole and Aurianna Shanille of the family home; her parents - Tim Fogle of Jordan, MT and Shelley (Hageman) Fogle of Jordan, MT; a sister, Shawna Erlenbusch and her husband Harold and their daughter MaKenzie of Cohagen, MT; her brother, Michael Fogle of Jordan, MT; maternal grandparents: Bob and Donna Hageman of Jordan, MT; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Hageman of Jordan, MT; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

ALAUNA RASHELL RICH
Alauna RaShell Rich, age 8, of South Fork, Colorado passed away on June 11, 2006 due to an automobile accident along with her mother, Nicole E. Rich.
Alauna was born on March 6, 1998, the daughter of Kirk and Nicole Rich. After her birth the family has moved as needed for her father's construction job. She attended school at Lamb Elementary School in Creede, CO until the time of her death. Alauna was always enthusiastic about everything life dealt her. She was caring and kind and always ready to play. Along with collecting unicorns, Alauna had a real love of animals.
Alauna is survived by her father, Kirk Rich of South Fork, CO; two sisters: Alexandra Nicole and Aurianna Shanille of the family home; her maternal grandparents: Tim Fogle and Shelley (Hageman) Fogle of Jordan, MT; paternal grandparents: Ken and Linda Rich of Sand Springs, MT; maternal great grandparents: Bob & Donna Hageman of Jordan, MT; paternal great grandparents: Chuck and Pohney Rich of Sand Springs, MT; and Joe and Marie Hafla of Miles City, MT; maternal great great grandmother, Betty Hageman of Jordan, MT; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A joint visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Jordan, Montana. Joint Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garfield County District High School Gym. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Pioneer cemetery. A potluck luncheon to follow at the VFW Hall.
Memorials can be made to the 'Rich Education Fund' for a Education Fund for Alexandra & Aurianna and may be sent to the Garfield County Bank in Jordan.

Bernice Caroline Jellison Morgan
Bernice Caroline Jellison Morgan, 78, of Miles City, passed away Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care where she has been living since May 2005.
She was born February 14, 1928 in Miles City, to Sadie Faye Askern and Arthur L. Jellison. She attended schools in Miles City. On June 7, 1947 she married Robert I. Morgan in Miles City. They were married 57 years before his passing in 2004. They made Miles City their home until 1952, when they moved to Boyes, Mt. where they resided until Bob's retirement in 1983. After retiring they lived in Broadus, Miles City, and Plevna, before returning to Miles City in 1988 where they spent the remainder of their years together.
One of her favorite pastimes was bowling. She was on the ladies afternoon league in Broadus for many years. She was also an active member of the Plevna Senior Citizens Center, and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Miles City.
One of the greatest passions in her life besides her family was being "the Avon lady". She began selling Avon while living in Boyes. She remained involved with Avon for the rest of her life.
She is survived by her daughter Roberta (Gary) Rickman of Miles City, and her 3 sons Robert A. Morgan of Broadus, Wayne L. Morgan of Miles City, and John (Tina) Morgan of North Glenn, CO, 8 grandchildren, Dwayne (Rinda) Morgan of Miles City, Rob (Shauna) Morgan of Billings, Brian (Brenda) Morgan of East Helena, Tawny (Clay) Hill of Forsyth, Michelle (Henry) Reeves, Jamie Morgan, Sabrina Morgan, all of Northglenn, CO and Amanda Morgan, of Galesburg, IL, 9 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Her sister Myrna Hollnagel of Albuquerque, NM and a brother Elvin "Jelly" (Susie) Jellison of Miles City also survive her.
Her husband Bob, her parents, her sisters Louise and Alice Faye, and brothers Kenny and Lawrence, and a lifelong special friend, Olive Hunt, preceded her in death. Also preceding her was her beloved granddaughter, Naomi Faye Morgan Wilson.

Naomi Faye Morgan Wilson
Naomi Faye Morgan Wilson, 29, passed away suddenly on June 9, 2005 in Great Falls, MT.
She was born April 17, 1976 to Janice Cundiff Bennett and Wayne L. Morgan in Miles City. She was raised by her father, and her grandparents, and attended schools in Miles City, and Kalispell.
She was married to Chip Wilson of Great Falls on June 7, 1999 and resided with him in their home in Great Falls until her death.
Her favorite past time was shooting pool. She loved spending time with her friends and family, but most of all she cherished the time spent with her son Tristin.
Naomi is survived by the greatest love of her life, her son Tristin Morgan of Williston, ND, her parents Janice Bennett and Wayne L. Morgan of Miles City, her sister Tawny (Clay) Hill and family of Forsyth. She is preceded in death by her very special friend Dar-La Williams.
Funeral services for Bernice and Naomi will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Eastern Montana Veteran's cemetery in Miles City.

Travis Klapmeier
Travis C. Klapmeier, age 23, of Billings, MT passed away on March 1, 2006 at his home in Billings, MT.
Travis was born on March 11, 1982 in Woodland, CA to Randy Klapmeier and Diana Greenfield. He was raised and attended school in Billings. Travis enjoyed playing his guitar, driving his old beat-up station wagon and attending classes at E.M.C. of Billings.
Travis is survived by his parents, Randy Klapmeier and Diana (Rick) Stern of Billings, MT, a sister Tracey (John) Magalsky of Billings, a brother Tyler Klapmeier of Billings, two nephews; John Charles and Issac Ross Magalsky of Billings, MT, grandparents, Betty Greenfield of Miles City, MT, and Mr. & Mrs. Bill Klapmeier of Miles City, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles L. Greenfeild.
Funeral services were held on March 6, 2006 in Billings, MT with cremation following. Family graveside services will be held on Friday, March 24, at 11:00 am at the Custer County cemetery in Miles City with Pastor Howard Schreibeis of the Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City has been entrusted with the local arrangements.

Clinton Hovermale
Clint was born on November 12, 1989 in Palmer, Alaska, the son of Daniel and Karen (Sundby) Hovermale. He attended Palmer Elementary School until the age of six and moved with the family to Custer, South Dakota where he attended school through the third grade. The family then moved to Broadus, Montana where Clint was starting his senior year of high school.
Clint loved to listen to music, ride motorcycles and was a member of the Broadus Hawks basketball team.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Karen Hovermale, brother Eric Hovermale and a sister, Jeanie Hovermale all of Broadus, MT, his grandmother, Elsie Sundby of Miles City, MT, three aunts, Dorothy Maleski, Mary Byant and Anna Maus all of Peters Creek, AK, an uncle, Phillip Hovermale of Granby, CO and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Norman, an aunt, Jackie and uncle, Chris Sundby.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus, where friends will be asked to sign a farewell message to Clint on his casket. The casket will be open at the funeral home and will remain closed for the funeral services. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at the Powder River High School Gymnasium. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Valley View cemetery in Broadus.
Should friends desire, memorials have been established for a fund in Clint's name to purchase new uniforms for the Powder River High School basketball teams.

Katlynn Erickson
Katlynn Tracy Irene 'Katie' Erickson, age 1, joined the choir of angels on Friday, February 10, 2006 at the Denver Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Katlynn was born in Miles City, Montana on May 11, 2004, the daughter of Matthew and Kara (O'Donnell) Erickson. She began her heroic battle with leukemia in November of 2004. Upon going to the Denver Children's Hospital for treatment she received a bone marrow transplant in April of 2005. Through the treatment, her struggles, and her good days, Katlynn was never without a bright smile beaming from her face. Now, after a long battle, Katlynn was called to be an angel to watch over her many friends and family.
Katlynn is survived by her parents, Matt & Kara Erickson of Miles City, MT; two brothers: Parker (age 7) and Robert (age 3) Erickson of Miles City, MT; her great-grandmother, Irene Olson of Kalispell, MT, her grandparents: Herb & Carole O'Donnell of Baker, MT; and Harry and Lois Erickson of Belgrade, MT; her uncles and aunts: Scott (Karen) O'Donnell of Baker, MT; Todd (Sandy) O'Donnell of Sidney, MT; Vance (Kim) O'Donnell of Baker, MT; Mark (Kenlynn) Erickson of Belgrade, MT; Monty (Irene O'Donnell) Erickson of Forsyth, MT; Miles (Donna) Erickson of Belgrade, MT; and Trac (Roy) O'Donnell Boespflug of Billings, MT; and numerous cousins.
A Vigil service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City. Rite of Committal will follow in the family lot of the Custer County cemetery.
The family would like to thank all of Katlynn's many, many supporters, many whom we've never had the chance to meet. Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Katlynn's name to First Interstate Bank; 1115 Main Street, Miles City, MT 59301, to help cover expenses.
