Theodore "Ted" Nosal
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints - Psalm 116:15. One of His precious saints, Theodore (Ted) Nosal, age 65, slipped into the Presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, January 7, 2006, at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City after a short illness.
Ted was born in Barnesville, Minnesota, on October 1, 1940, to the late Andrew Nosal and Agnes (Harding) Nosal. He attended country school, the Assumption Catholic School and graduated from Barnesville High School in 1958. After graduation Ted joined the United States Navy. Ted was so "proud" to represent his country during his military service that he didn't blink an eye when he signed up for a second tour of duty in Vietnam. He retired from active duty in 1979. After his military service, Ted worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. In 1984 he transferred to the Veterans Hospital in Miles City where he worked until his retirement.
One of his military assignments was in Korea and he relished his time there. Even more so when he met the "love of his life" Bock Soon Park. Those who knew her called her "Katy". They were married in Korea on November 11, 1974. Katy passed away February 11, 2004, after a short illness. Ted's family is only consoled by the fact that Ted was so lost without his "Little Buddy" Katy at his side that God made the decision to call Ted home so they could once again be together for eternity. As Ted always said when he introduced Katy "This is my Little Buddy Katy - always at my side and forever in my heart"!
Ted is survived by his Mother, Agnes Nosal, who resides at the Barnesville Good Samaritan Center in Barnesville, Minnesota; his Brother, Thomas Nosal, of Barnesville, Minnesota and one Sister, Jeanne Struble, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; three nephews and their wives, one niece and her husband. He was preceded in death by his Father, Andrew Nosal, and one Brother, Joseph.
A memorial service will be held for Ted on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Homes in Miles City, Montana. Interment will be held at a later date in the Arlington National cemetery in Washington, DC.
