Cordelia Mae Necklace Dust
Cordelia Mae Necklace Dust, age 53, of Billings, MT formally of Brockton MT went home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2004 of natural causes. Cordelia was born on December 1, 1949 to Felix and Christine Necklace. Her grandparents John and Elsie Necklace raised Cordelia. Cordelia married Isaac Dust and they were married for 33 years. Cordelia and her husband traveled in the USA and Canada evangelizing the word of God. We all know her by Ma Ma Mae. Cordelia was a mother to everyone who knew her. She was a loving and kind woman. She raised numerous children. She loved all her grandchildren. Cordelia lived in Brockton till 1990. Brockton is where Cordelia did her education. In 1996 her niece she took as her daughter donated her kidney to Cordelia. They were close. Cordelia spent most her life in Billings due to renal failure
Cordelia is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her daughter, Elsie, her brothers, Harold, Michael and Philmore Necklace, her grandsons, Quannah M and Michael N and her niece, Alphine.
Cordelia is survived by her husband, Isaac Dust of Billings, MT, her sons, Thomas Necklace of Ft. Kipp, MT and Dean Necklace of Billing, MT, her daughters, Florence Necklace of Billings, MT, Rochelle and Deana Necklace of FT. Totten, ND, adopted sons, Gary North Piegan of Hardin, MT and Allen Follows The Road of Poplar, MT, her sister, Ruth Necklace (Terry), her brothers, Russell Necklace and William Necklace of Brockton, MT, adopted sisters Joanne, Sherri, Ivy, Lucillia, Kim and Louise Black Plume of Cardston, Alberta, her grandchildren, Marquel North Piegan of Hardin, MT, Chastity Black Dog of Poplar, MT, Miccah Dust, Michael Bauer, Charmayne Necklace, Jamison Miller, Alex Necklace, Morgan Necklace all of Billings, Mt, Robert Ferguson of Devils Lake, ND, Dylan Little Wind, Lavern Little Wind, Kaleigh Littleghost, and Kayden Littleghost all of Ft, Totten, ND, Isiah Drags Wolf, Dlaine Drags Wolf and Christian Clincher all of Poplar, MT, Alysia Necklace, Sierra Necklace, and Angelina Necklace all of Brockton, MT, her aunts, Coretta (Jim) Yankton of Poplar, MT, Carol and Catherine of Brockton, MT, Serena (Ambrose) Good Soldier of FT. Kipp, MT, Josephine Black Dog of Brockton, MT, Vicki Martin of Mandan ND, Rita Long Chase and Florence Eagleman of Poplar MT, Fay Peterson and Myrna Charboneau of Poplar MT, her uncles Bill and Mike Youngman of Poplar, MT, Leland Spotted Bird of Brockton MT, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews in North Dakota, Georgia and Montana. Extended Families Spotted Bird and Youngmans.
Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2004 at Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar, MT with a prayer service beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 11:00am at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will be in the Ft. Kipp cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Donald Hobson
Donald C. Hobson, age 84, of Terry, MT passed away at the Veterans Administrative Medical Center in Helena on March 21, 2005.
Donald was born on November 5, 1920 to Clinton and Edith (Johnson) Hobson in Eagle Grove, Iowa. He attended schools in Wisconsin and moved to California. On October 7, 1944, Donald entered into the United States Army, during WWII, where he served until his honorably discharge on June 4, 1946. He returned to California where drove truck for many years. In 1950, he went to the Chicago motive Trades Institute where he completed the Body and Fender Rebuilding training. For the last 12 years, he worked for the F.M.C. Company. On September 3, 1987 he and Kay Wimer were married in Goldbeach, Oregon and moved to Mooncreek Road in 1994. In June of 2004, Kay and Donald moved to Terry, MT where they had resided since.

Donald is survived by his wife Kay of Terry, MT, his son Donald Hobson of St. Cloud, MN, a special nephew Nick Hobson of San Jose, CA. two daughters; Addie Mae Hobson of Terry, MT, and Linda G. Brandt of San Jose, CA, his step-son Jeff Martin of Eugene, OR, and two step-daughters; Jennifer (Don) Hong of Blackfoot, ID and Jill (Dean) Kolka of Volborg, MT, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and five brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church in Miles City. Interment will follow at the Eastern Montana Veterans cemetery in Miles City with full Military Honors.
If desired, memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.

Lester Johnson
Lester “Les” LeRoy Johnson, age 54, of Culbertson, passed away February 27, 2005 of heart failure. He was born August 17, 1950 to Nonie and Jeanne Tlustosch Johnson in Sidney.
Les was raised and attended schools in Culbertson, graduating in 1968. He served in the Navy from 1969 to 1975. He worked in the trucking industry after leaving the Navy. He was presently working for Ruby Transportation out of Dickinson, ND. He worked in the trucking industry for 30 years.
Les enjoyed visiting with friends and drinking coffee. He traveled a lot and was a hard worker. He loved watching his daughter Ashley in sports. He will be dearly missed.
His best friend and companion Lois Moran of Ft. Kipp, daughters Shannon Carpenter of Great Falls and Ashley Moran of Ft. Kipp, survive him. He is also survived by a brother Keith (Anna) Johnson of Bellflower, CA; sisters Sue (Barney) Orand of Billings and Carol (Thomas) Finnicum of Joliet; and four grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 2 pm with visitation two hours prior to the service at Everson Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Culbertson. Interment will be in Hillside cemetery in Culbertson. Everson Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

Alfred Melvin Ironbear
(Walking Brave Bear)
Our beloved Alfred passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the Poplar Community Hospital of complications due to an aneurism. Alfred was born in Poplar June 7, 1952 to Harry Sr. and Mary (Red Feather II) IronBear.
Alfred attended school in Poplar, Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, OK and completed his education at the United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, ND. He entered the United States Marine Corp on September 9, 1972 and was Honorably discharged October 26, 1974.
During his life he was employed at A & S Tribal Industries, West Electronics and the BIA Roads Department for 18 years until his death.
Alfred enjoyed being with family and friends, going to pow-wows, listening to Indian music, playing horse shoes, and taking rides down to the “Old Place” where he grew up.
He was preceded in death by his dad Harry Sr., mother Mary, one brother Merle and one sister Betty Jo. Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Marzetta, two daughters, Amber (Darryl) IronBear, Lisa who is currently serving in the U.S. Army, one son AJ (Alfred Jr.), and two special grandsons Dennis Red Eagle and Jay WhiteHead. He is also survived by five sisters, Linda (David) Lezard, Beth (Jake) WhiteBull, Myra (Jon) Daniels, Cheryl (Harold) Boyd, Charmaine IronBear, Sandra (Buddy) Adams, and Gloria Buckles, five brothers, Harry Jr., James (Lanelle), Anthony (Patrice), Lonnie IronBear and Ivan Roberts, and adopted brother Charles CrazyBull, step-father Timothy Turning Heart of South Dakota, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandchildren all of Poplar.
Alfred will be missed greatly by his family and friends and all who knew him. But we all take comfort in knowing that he is with his loved ones who have passed on.
A wake service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 7 pm at the Poplar Cultural Center with funeral services at 2 pm on Saturday, August 14 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will be in St. Anne’s cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

Kenneth Harry Bucholz
Kenneth H. Bucholz, age 85, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 15, 2004 at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point where he had resided for the past several years. Kenny was born June 29, 1919 to Agustof and Christina Schmidt Bucholz in the Riverside Community in McCone County where he also attended school.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1946, participating in the Battle of the Bulge and the Normandy invasion. He was honorable discharged in 1946, at which time he came back to farm in the Sunnyside community for many years. He was active in Farmers Union and his church, Trinity Lutheran Church, where he served on various boards, councils and the building committee.
On June 29, 1949 he married LaVerna Bartlett in Kalispell. To this union were born four children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Alta Good, Mildred Good, Bernice Baker and brother Elmer. He is survived by the mother of his children in Alaska, daughter Deanna Hubbard in Florida, son Mark in Hawaii, son Noel in Alaska and son Brent in Oregon. Surviving also are five grandchildren, Kendal and Ashley in Alaska and Lucas, Kassandra, and Nate in Oregon. Numerous nieces and nephews in the Wolf Point area including a special niece, Alice Doornek, also survive him.
His ashes will be placed in the Veteran’s Circle in Greenwood cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Greenwood cemetery.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

Wayne "Teener" Strong
Wayne Paul “Teener” Strong, age 79, of Forsyth passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at the Rosebud Health Care Center.
Teener was born on August 14, 1925, in Boise, ID, the son of James Oswald and Ruth Francis (Turner) Strong.
As a young child, Teener moved to different areas with his family until settling in Forsyth where he was educated and graduated from Forsyth High School. Following his graduation, Teener was employed as a meat cutter with the Sawyers Store. He later worked for Standard Oil until beginning his career with Burlington Northern Railroad as a clerk in 1949. Teener worked for Burlington Northern until his retirement in 1988. Teener was united in marriage to Bobbie Pickering in November of 1950. To this union his seven children were born.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, painting and being outdoors, but he especially enjoyed golf and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Teener was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church and served as an elder for several years.
He is survived by his special friend Donna Laslovich of Forsyth, his sons Bill “Scooter” Strong of Forsyth, Mark Strong and his wife Kelly of Phoenix, AZ, Charles Strong and his wife Brooke of Kalispell, MT, his daughters Barbara Ann Boley and her husband Bob of Lakeside, MT, Candy Tait and her husband Howard of Forsyth, Paula Jackson and her husband Tony of Dawson Springs, KY, Tami Kennedy and her husband Dan of Littleton, CO, one brother Charles “Chuck” Leroy Strong, two sisters Grace Angeloff, and Donna Strong Jones. He is also blessed with 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Teener was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James “Buzz” Strong, Raymond “Ty” Strong, one sister Ellen Elizabeth Strong Kowis.
Memorials can be sent to a charity of one’s choice.

Kellye Keith Gumm
Kellye Keith Gumm, formerly of Terry, Montana, passed away recently in Pueblo, Colorado.
Mr. Gumm, age 41, died of natural causes in his apartment in Pueblo. He was born November 11, 1964, in La Crosse, Kansas. His passing is mourned by his parents, Keith and Irene Gumm of Terry, and his brother Jason (Kimberly) of Fort Worth, Texas, along with many other friends and family members.
Mr. Gumm was a talented musician, playing in several bands throughout his life as well as "Keeping his day job" to keep body and soul together. His favorite saying was "Music is my Life".
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 24, 2006, at the Presbyterian Church in Terry, Montana. Private family committal services will be held this summer in his family’s section of the Ford cemetery near his parents’ hometown of Bucklin, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Terry High School Band Equipment fund established in Kellye’s name, in care of Tim Rittal, accountant, Box 155 Terry, Montana 59349.

James (Jim) Fulton
James L. Fulton, age 56, of Forsyth passed away on November 17, 2004 near Dillon while on his Elk Hunting trip.
Jim was born on April 20, 1948 the son of Robert and Wanda (Reese) in Percy, IL. Jim was raised and educated in the Percy area. Following his schooling, Jim entered into the United States Navy on January 3, 1968. He served his country actively until January 18, 1970 when Jim entered the Navy Reserve. He was later honorably discharged on September 28, 1973. Following Jim’s time in the armed forces, he married Gayle Stewart on July 24, 1971 at Coulterville, IL. Together, they made their home in Illinois until moving to Forsyth in 1973 where Jim worked as a carpenter in Colstrip during the construction of the Colstrip power plants. During the 1980’s Jim continued to work as a carpenter in the Forsyth area until being employed at what is now Forsyth Hardware, where he worked until the time of his death.
Jim was active in the Young Men’s Club as well as various other memberships in Forsyth. Jim was friendly to all and never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, visiting with everyone and most of all hunting. He especially loved his family and children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Gayle of Forsyth, two sons Allen Fulton (Dana) of Colstrip, Jim Fulton (Jasa) of Shepherd; two grandchildren Brayden and Brookelyn; his father Robert Fulton and his wife Peggy of Percy, IL one brother Robert “Bob” Fulton (Louise) of Ava, IL and one sister Jean Salger (Glenn) of Percy, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother Wanda in 1983.Memorials can be made to the Young Men’s Club or to a charity of one’s choice.

Alice Mae Brown
Alice Mae Brown, of Sidney, formerly of Poplar, age 88, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center in Williston. She was born January 30, 1916 in Culbertson to Dugald and Mary Solomson Hagadone.
Alice married Herbert H. Brown on May 20, 1936. He preceded her in death on October 9, 1970. Alice was a restaurant cook. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and sewing. She also cherished her time spent with her family.
Alice is survived by her sons, Frosty (Lenora) Brown of South Poplar and Herbert, Jr. (Niki) Brown of Great Falls; daughters, Mary Bloom of Sidney, Rosaline Smith of Powers Lake, ND, Lorraine (Roy) Hatten of Orting, WA, Donna Brown of Bonney Lake, WA, Myrtle (Reg) DuMontier, of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Shirley (Bruce) Hatten of Federal Way, WA, Betty (Mike) VanAlstine of Federal Way, WA, and Dora (Roger Harison) Brown of Sidney. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Ruby Hagadone, Nora Hagadone, and Margaret Brown, and brother-in-law Glen Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, two granddaughters, her parents, six brothers, one sister, and three sons-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 6, 2004 from 6 to 9 pm at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Poplar. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at 11 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Poplar. Interment will be in Poplar City cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

Hal Hilderman
Hal Hilderman, age 83, of Miles City passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2005.
Hal was born in Laurel, Montana on April 13, 1922, the son of Jacob and Mollie (Beahm) Hilderman. He graduated from Fif High School in Tacoma, Washington in 1939. Following graduation he worked for Milwaukee Railroad before joining the Army Air Corps. Throughout his Army career he piloted 75 combat missions. He was later honorably discharged as 1st Lieutenant.
On January 28, 1943, he married Olive May Loehr in Miles City, Montana. Hal and Olive May owned and operated Gingers Cleaners for 20 years. Hal then held office as county assessor until retirement in 1984.
Hal had many passions, first and foremost, his wife Olive May and children. He was very proud of his three son’s accomplishments. Hal’s fondness for his five grandchildren was apparent in everything that he did. Hal was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time at the Town and Country Club sipping on a good scotch and water.
Hal is survived by his wife, Olive May Hilderman of Miles City, MT; three sons, Richard Hilderman and his wife Karol of Clemson, SC; Larry Hilderman and his wife Leann of Libby, MT; and Tom Hilderman of Miles City, MT; five grandchildren: Scott, Kris, Jennifer, Stacie, and Jake; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Barbara Askin and her husband Jim of Green Valley, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Eastern Montana State Veteran’s cemetery in Miles City with full military honors.
Should friend desire, memorials may be made to the Shriners, the Town and Country Club or for Parkinson’s Research.

Katherine McGuire
Katherine McGuire, age 84, of Miles City passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at the Holy Rosary Health Center.
Katherine was born to Leslie and Barbert J. (Kranz) Booen on September 16, 1920, in a cap in Bronx, New York. The cab driver, Mo Schrevnitz, delivered her and then became her Godfather. She was home schooled and when she moved to Miles City, she received her GED. She then attended Business College in Dickinson, North Dakota. Katherine married Henry Eldon McGuire in May of 1941, in Forsyth, Montana. They had Eldon K. McGuire in August of 1942 in Miles City where they were ranching. Katherine worked at Safeway and at Holy Rosary Hospital in the cafeteria for twenty five years. She also worked at the Olive Hotel for nine years.
Katherine is survived by her son, Eldon “Butch” McGuire of Stonington, CT. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry Eldon McGuire, and a twin sister at birth.
Funeral services are pending at this time with Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City, Montana.

Sarah Rebecca "Tiny" Mickell
Sarah Rebecca “Tiny” Mickell, age 74 passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings.
Tiny was born the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Popp) Mickell on April 19, 1931 in Myers, Montana. She grew up and attended school in the Forsyth area. She worked for Jacks IGA throughout her working career.
She enjoyed collecting dolls, flower gardening and taking drives in the country. Tiny was baptized and confirmed a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her brothers, LeRoy and Maureen Mickell of Forsyth, Jerry and Barbara Mickell of Rosebud; her sisters, Clara and Stanley Schelin, Betty Fontaine and Shirley Staples of Forsyth, Lillian Kibbee of Sweeney, Texas; brother-in-law, Marvin Quinlan Sr. Also surviving are cousins Gary and Kay Wagner of Billings, Donna and Ralph Mitchell of Park City, and Virgil Satterthwait of Forsyth; niece, Diana and Gary Hale of Sedgwick, Kansas, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Esther, Leona and Emma, her cousin Linda Satterthwait, brother-in-laws Curly Fontaine, Pat Staples and Fred Staples. She is also preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Roy and Amelia Wagner, who helped raise her. Tiny and Amelia shared a home until Amelia’s passing.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Concordia Lutheran Church in Forsyth.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 from 1:00 until 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home.
Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Forsyth is in charge of these arrangements.
