Ronald C. Richardson, 55, of Great Falls, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at 2025 2nd Avenue North.
Ron was born January 17, 1961 in Great Falls to Raymond and Verna “Ruth” Richardson. He graduated from CMR High School.
Ron worked as a seismographer from the Yukon Territory to Texas. He also hung wallpaper and painted in Seattle.
Ron enjoyed fishing in his free time.
Ron is survived by father Raymond Richardson; brothers Raymond (Ramona) Richardson and Bob (Kim) Richardson of Helena; sisters Michelle (Mike Murray) Osterman of Great Falls, Laura (Bret) DeBolt of Torrance, CA, and Mary (Pete Espinosa) Richardson of Denver, CO; special friend Suki and sons David and Dustin of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Richardson and infant sister, Ruth.
Rita Cabrin

Rita Cabrin, 78, of Great Falls, peacefully passed away on February 18th, in her home and surrounded by family. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home, and at her request there will be no services. Memorials are suggested to the Benefis Sletten Cancer Center.
Born June 9th, 1937 in Great Falls, Rita was a long-time rancher and resident of Wolf Creek and Cascade. She worked as a cook for the Wolf Creek School, as a daycare provider in Great Falls, and was instrumental in the passing of Montana House Bill 362. She was a lifelong homemaker and is remembered as caring, compassionate, selfless, and fiercely dedicated to family.
Rita is survived by two daughters, Melody Cabrin and Julie Ryan of Great Falls; three sons, Steven Cabrin of Wolf Creek, Christopher Cabrin of Belfair, Washington, and Casey Cabrin of Poulsbo, Washington; grandson Reno Tibke of Tokyo, Japan; twelve additional grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Cabrin.

William "Bill" Beedle

William “Bill” Beedle, 77, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Peace Hospice after a lengthy illness.
Bill was born in Oklahoma City and grew up in California until his freshman year in high school. He moved to Clear Lake, Iowa where he graduated. He later moved to Great Falls Montana and he attended University of Montana.
After graduating, Bill moved to Phoenix, AZ and worked for Motorola. He married
Donna Anderson of Great Falls and later divorced.
Bill is survived by his children Andi Laubhan and Stephen Beedle; one granddaughter Brooke Laubhan; three sisters Susan Storm, Sally Beedle, and Betsy Willett.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Per his request, there will be no services.
Robert "Bob" Hughes Sr.

Robert “Bob” Preston Hughes Sr., 75, passed away May 16, 2016 at Peace Hospice in Great Falls.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Bob was born January 26, 1941 in Greensville, South Carolina. He joined the military at the age of 18. On December 9, 1963 he was united in marriage to Darlene Ryser in North Pole, Alaska. He served two tours in Vietnam and two years in Korea.
Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar and was a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Tammy Jo (Chris Smith) Hughes of Driggs, ID; son Robert Hughes Jr. of Great Falls; grandchildren Quinn Patrick and Hope; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Darlene.
Pat "Patricia" Warnke

Pat “Patricia” Warnke, 69, Great Falls, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 in her home of an apparent heart attack.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Helena. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home.
Pat was born in Helena, Montana on January 27, 1947. She graduated from Cathedral High Catholic School in 1966. Pat worked as a Developmental Clerk for St Labre in Ashland, MT for thirty years before she retired. She then moved to Great Falls to be closer to family. During the school year, she participated in the Grandmothers program where she assisted teachers in the care of young children.
Pat enjoyed fishing, bowling, the kids that she worked with at the school, and spending time with her family.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Selina Smith; son-in-law Rod Smith; grandsons Cody and Justin Smith; and sisters Donna Novak and Darlene Stanger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna; brother Jack Darfler; and nieces Jamie and Deb Stanger.
Albert "Burt" Hendricks

Albert George “Burt” Hendricks, 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Peace Hospice on Saturday, May 21, 2016. His wife was by his side holding his hand.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Mount Olivet cemetery. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling services.
He was born on September 20, 1948 in Philadelphia to William and Emma Hedricks and raised in New Jersey. When he was ten years old, he saw his mother killed. He had a rough childhood. His maternal grandfather, Albert George La Maite became his support and best friend.
He graduated from Lenape Regional High School in Medford, NJ in 1966. Two of his best friends in high school, Michael and Harry Gatto, brought him home many times and their mother Emma, cooked up many good Italian meals and gave him much support and love.
He served his country as an Army Medic in Vietnam during the TET offensive. He also served in Japan and at Walter Reed. After being discharged he attended the University of Iowa for a year with a history major. He transferred to SUNY in Brockport, NY and changed his major to health and physical education since he had to work fulltime during college. He got his bachelor of science and some work towards a Masters.
He taught for a while after graduation and then devoted his life to his love of history. He researched and wrote a book on the life of Sam Houston. He was in the process of researching the life of General George Patton.
His other great love was running. In high school he ran the mile in four minutes and eight seconds. When he was in basic training his drill instructor made him run the mile twice because he thought his stopwatch was broken. He ran outside every day for an hour no matter the weather until his arthritis caught up to him. He still used a treadmill and exercised every day.
He also loved baseball (Phillies), football (Iowa Hawkeyes), and NASCAR (the Earnhardts).
He married
his wife and soulmate, Janine, on April 5, 1986 and we had a wonderful marriage (that ended too soon) for over 30. I will miss him and love him for all of my life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Burt is now out of pain and in the hands of his maker. May he have peace.
Burt also loved to write “quotes”. One of his last ones written on December 12, 2015 way, “Life is but an adornment making then death the whole nine yards.”
Michael D. Dunlap

Michael D. Dunlap, 74, of Great Falls, passed away suddenly on May 22, 2016.
A rosary service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Funeral liturgy will take place on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 3 p.m. also at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Services are being handled by O’Connor Funeral Home.
Mike Dunlap was born July 8, 1941 in Helena, Montana. He served in the Navy and had a long career in Law Enforcement in California. He received the California Medal of Valor for rescuing 5 people from a burning vehicle.
After retirement Mike returned to Great Falls where he became an active and valued member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
He is survived by his sons, Dan and Ken Dunlap of California; grandchildren Zachary, Benjamin, Nicholas and Noah; and brother John (Carrie) Dusko of Great Falls; and the Karens and their families.
Betty Kicker

Betty Lou Bridgewater Kicker passed away peacefully on May 2, 2016 at the age of 69 at a local care facility.
At her request, no services will be held. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home.
Betty was born on February 5, 1947 to Willard “Gerald” and Doris Bridgewater in Livingston, Montana. She was the middle child of five daughters, raised in Livingston. Her freshman year of high school, she met her soulmate and future husband, Ronald Kicker. They married
March 27, 1965, right out of high school and were married
for 51 years.
After graduation, Betty and Ron moved to Phoenix, Arizona were they lived for 11 years and had their one and only child, Lori. Betty quit working as a librarian when Lori was born and became a stay at home mom. She was blessed with not having to work and being able to be home for her family. Betty and Ron later returned to Montana making Colstrip their home. It was there that she formed many great friendships and memories.
In 2007, Betty and Ron retired and moved to Great Falls to be closer to their daughter. They later moved to Ulm where they built a home. Betty and Ron were snow birds and enjoyed spending the summers in Ulm and traveling to Bouse, Arizona in the winters. She enjoyed spending time out in the desert with family and friends before the COPD made that difficult.
Betty loved her husband with all of her heart. He was her best friend and soulmate. She loved spending time with her husband and their dog Ally, her daughter Lori and son-in-law Michael JR, but most of all she loved cuddling with her grandchildren Daniel, Sophia and Madyson Badgley
Betty is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald; daughter Lori (Michael Jr) Badgley; and her three grandchildren, Daniel, Sophia, and Madyson. She is also survived by her three sisters, Charlotte, (Jon) West of Seeley Lake; Janet (Ben) Haagenson of Billings, Gayle Cooke of Great Falls; step-brothers Mike Fredericks, David (Lee) Fredericks, and Bob Fredericks; step-sister Vivian Rohrbach; and 8 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Sharon Holler; nephew Lee Holler; and niece Stephanie Harris.
Kathleen Jean (Stringer) Courtney

Kathleen Jean (Stringer) Courtney, 58, surrendered to Christ’s embrace after a valiant war with cancer in her home on May 22, 2016.
Her legacy continues through her birth children: Angela (Travis), Jason (Tiana), Inga (Travis), Denis (Roxy) & Israel (Shannon); her many adopted children; 17 grandchildren; 2.5 great-grandchildren; her siblings Vera (Monte) Luraas, Shari (Dan) Anderson; the Cesarano/Singer Clan of Washington; and all her kindred earned along the way. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Ken and Bobbie; siblings Kenny, Chris and Nicki; and non-human companions Laddie, Ivan and Rowdy.
Kathy was born in Finlay, Ohio on Nov. 3, 1957, raised on the highway and called Montana home. A gardener and arborist, she established Tree Amigos Tree Service in 1989 while earning her associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies and her doctorate in Domestic Engineering.
Kathy loved music and prepared every meal with a song. She was an accomplished cook who, if absent from HER kitchen, was in her garden or picking fruits and flowers along mountain trails and streams. A born Samaritan, she left her home (and fridge) open to all in need. A passionate suffragist, she volunteered every election year.
Kathy was a constant optimist who credited her blessings to the grace of God, for who she held unyielding faith.
Her memorial will be held at Giant Springs on Thurs., May 26 @ 1 pm.
