Muriel Genevra Daugherty Shrader
Muriel Genevra Daugherty Shrader, 85 of Billings passed away and went to be with her Savior on Nov. 27, 1998, at Eagle Cliff Manor.
Muriel was born at Miller, Neb. on Feb. 1, 1913 to John and Fern Keyser Daugherty. She grew up in Miller and Litchfield, graduating from Litchfield High School and continued with normal training and became a school teacher. Muriel married Earl Raymond Shrader on Nov. 8, 1934 at Kearney, Neb. They moved to Montana in 1948 living in Custer, Billings, Ryegate and Fort Shaw, moving back to Billings in 1971. Muriel was a very loving mother and grammy. Her interests included first & foremost her children, grandchildren and big family gatherings, gardening, pinochle, music, dancing, crafts, a good joke and her friends.
Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, step-mother, one brother and one sister. She is survived by her nine children: Mildred (Richard) Parker of Billings, Earl Jr. of California, Belva (Butch) Selph of Billings, Maxine Kline (Don) Schodt of Billings, Everett (Cindy) of Billings, Alice (Duane) Johnson of Polson, Allen of Billings, Raymond (Mary) of Laurel, Ina Rae (Steve) Arneson of Laurel; also a sister, Ila Byrnes of Billings; a brother, Jerry Daugherty of Colorado; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters and numerous friends and relatives.
Muriel will be greatly missed by many. Mama we love you!
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at the Smith Downtown Chapel with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or to the charity of your choice.

Georgia M. Bastoni
Georgia M. Bastoni passed away Tuesday Nov. 24, 1998. She was born Feb. 22, 1922 in Boulder. She married Giulio Bastoni in 1944 and later moved to Billings. He passed away in 1991.
She is survived by sons: John M. (Nancy) Bastoni of Billings and Albert A. (Marvel) Bastoni of Laurel; one brother, Archie (Joan) Dulaney of Anaconda; sister-in-law, Mary Dulaney of Whitehall; grandchildren: Christine (James) Muri of Billings, Melissa Bastoni of Laurel, and Archie (Joyce) Washington; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at the Holy Cross cemetery.

John Leslie Blackford
ROCKVALE - John Leslie Blackford, 77, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at his home.
Private family services will be held. Affordable Alternative Cremation & Burial Services is in charge.

Dona D. Dahms
Dona D. Dahms, 57, of Billings passed away on Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, at St. Vincent Hospital due to a cerebral hemorrhage.
Dona was born June 15, 1941 in Buffalo, Wyo., to Robert and Leona Taylor. She attended school in Midwest, Wyo.
In 1960, she married Fred Burrage in Gillette, Wyo. They then moved to Billings. Dona attended beauty school and worked as a beautician for five years. In 1977, Dona started her job at Trudy's Bookkeeping, where she worked as office manager at the time of her death.
On Oct. 8, 1994, she married Roger Dahms. Dona was always ready to go shopping, play bingo and have a good pinochle game. She loved her job, all the people she worked with, and those many she took care of at work. Dona cherished her family and friends. Everyone that knew her will miss her cheery smile and willingness to listen.
Dona is preceded in death by her father, Robert Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Roger Dahms, Billings. Also surviving is her son, Kevin (Kim) Burrage; daughter, Kim (Randy) Palin of Shepherd; grandchildren: Jarret Burrage, Tawnya, Nolan and Whitney Palin all of Shepherd. Others surviving are her mother, Leona Taylor; sisters: JoAnn Portz, Viola Dickey, Barbara Burgess, and brother, George Taylor, all of Midwest, Wyo.; sisters: Linda Hanna of Casper, Wyo., Susie Nichols of Wheatland, Wyo., and Charles Taylor of Phoenix, Ariz.
Special friends surviving are Katy McNeil, Evelyn Dupea, Cheri Petty, Bev Hone and Trudy Chester.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at the Smith's West Chapel.

Juanita Farwell
POWELL, Wyo. - Juanita Farwell, 85, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at the New Horizons Care Center in Lovell.
Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes and graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Crown Hill cemetery. Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home is in charge.

Irene F. Goldsberry
Irene F. Goldsberry 86 of Billings formerly of Powell, Wyo., died Friday Nov. 27, 1998, at Western Manor. She was born Sept. 8, 1912 in LaGrange, Ind., a daughter of Dell Ray and Clara Ada Ferris Mains. Cremation has taken place by Cremation Society of Montana. Private family interment will be at a later date at the Crown Hill cemetery in Powell.
Irene married Gene Goldsberry in Powell and lived their until moving to Billings in 1943. She assisted her husband in the trucking business, later moving to St. Paul, Minn., where she worked at a Medical Center as a bookkeeper. After retirement her and Gene moved to Florida and later returned to Billings in 1980. Mr. Goldsberry died in 1994.
Survivors include a son Robert Goldsberry of Oxford, England; a granddaughter Linda Remmick of Billings; two grandsons: Randy (Shelly) Kadrmas of Nevada and Jeff Kadrmas of Louisiana; nephews: Jim (Nancy) Doyle, Dick Doyle and sister-in-law Sue Doyle all of Casper, Wyo., and a niece Sharon Jackson of Florida. Irene has also been preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Judy Kadrmas and two sisters.
Arrangements were by Cremation or Funeral Gallery.

Katherine Werth Grenz
Katherine Werth Grenz, 83 of Billings, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998 at St. Vincent Hospital.
Katherine was born at Hebron, ND, a daughter of Jacob and Christina Magstadt Werth on July 5, 1915.
She graduated from Hebron High School in 1934 and attended Dickinson State Teachers College. Katherine received her degree in Elementary Education in 1957.
Katherine married Carl Grenz in 1936. They enjoyed 57 wonderful years together. Carl passed away in 1995.
Katherine was a member of Margaret Trautman O.E.S. Chapter 108, Broadus.
Survivors include her son Jerome C. Grenz of Idaho Falls; granddaughters, Shannon L. Grenz of Phoenix, Ariz., and Pamela Grenz Reyes and her husband Ren of Boise, Idaho and a grandson, Michael J. Grenz of Portland, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters, and two brothers.
Memorials may be made to Evangelical United Methodist Church, 345 Broadwater, Billings, MT 59101 or the Dialyses Center, 2411 Village Lane, Billings, MT 59102.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 345 Broadwater Ave. Interment will be in Mountview cemetery.
Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist, Alderson Chapel, has charge of arrangements.

Ralph E. 'Shorty' Harrison
CODY, Wyo. - Ralph E. "Shorty" Harrison, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at West Park Long Term Care Center.
He was born on August 10, 1910, in LaPlata, Mo., to Oscar T. and Edna A. Harrison. Shorty graduated from Belfry High School and attended business school in Billings. Shorty married Frances P. Wiltse on Oct. 1, 1940, and they recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary at a party hosted by the Long Term Care Center. During his life, Shorty worked for Park Refinery, Cody; Kirk Oil Company, Frannie, Wyo., the City of Cody Water Department and was a distributor for the Billings Gazette.
Shorty was a charter member of the BPOE Elks and a member of the Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas G. Harrison; granddaughter, Kathleen A. Moore; and sister, Mildred Johnson. Shorty is survived by his wife, Frances; daughters, Carole Anne Giffin, Austin, Texas, Margaret DeClue, Cody and Dolores Moore, Billings; granddaughters: Kristen Arnhold, Albuquerque, N.M. and Wendy Jacobs of Cody; grandsons: Kurt Arnhold, Austin, Texas, Ron DeClue, Casper, Wyo., and Bill DeClue, Lander, Wyo.; three great-grandsons, one great- granddaughter and one great-great-grandson. His brother, George W. Harrison, lives in Sheridan, Wyo.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to the administration and staff of the West Park Long Term Care Center and to John R. Hudgins, M.D. for the wonderful care they gave Shorty.
Visitations for Ralph E. "Shorty" Harrison will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at Ballard Funeral Home in Cody. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Ballard Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Riverside cemetery with services provided by the BPOE Lodge # 1611.

Annie Kaul
GLENDIVE - Annie Kaul, 82, formerly of Terry and Fallon died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at the Glendive Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, in the Grace Lutheran Church in Fallon. Interment will follow at the Prairie County cemetery in Terry. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge.

Cleon Lesh
MILES CITY - Cleon Lesh, 65, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at his home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at the Custer County cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge.

Gladys L. McCarten
BRIDGER - Gladys L. McCarten, 92, formerly of Sidney, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at the St. Vincent Hospital and Health Center in Billings.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Sidney with interment at the Fairview cemetery. Fulkerson Funeral Home is in charge.

Margaret Hugelen McCracken
Margaret Hugelen McCracken, 80, of Billings, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at St. Vincent Hospital.
The daughter of Gust Tolin and Grace Helen Brown, Margaret was born Oct. 14, 1918 in Hardin. She married Helmer O. Hug-elen in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1973. Margaret married Throop D. McCracken in Powell, Wyo., in 1974. He passed away in 1976.
Margaret had worked for Goodies Spud Chip Company for 20 years. She also volunteered with Billings Senior Citizens for 20 years.
Survivors include her son H.L. "Hugie" Hugelen and his wife Judy of Boise, Idaho, and her daughter, Carol Haworth, and her husband, Richard, of Hardin; a sister Mrs. Martin (Lois) Fisher; seven grandchildren: Jamie Hughes, Cheryl Brown, Kelly Kilmer, Jay Leischner, Jeff Leischner, Daniel Hugelen and his wife, Julie and Deanna Lewis; six great-grandchildren: Heather and Robby Hornstein, Michelle Benzel, Christopher Lett, Rex James Lewis and Heather DeLahn Leischner; two step-sons: Jimmy (Carol) McCracken and Tom (Maureen) McCracken; three step-daughters: Davey (Leonard) Kilwein, Pat (Dean) Byrne, and Margaret (Nick) Manolovits.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Myers, a brother, Gilbert, and a sister, Helen Doerr. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist Alderson Chapel with interment in Mountview cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be made to the Al Bedoo Shrine Children's Hospital Transportation Trust Fund, PO Box 20673, Billings, MT 59104.

Frieda G. Neumiller
TERRY - Frieda G. Neumiller, 68, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at the Holy Rosary Health Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the Hope American Lutheran Church in Fallon. Interment will follow at the Prairie County cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge.

Callie Ann Nordstog
Callie Ann Nordstog, infant daughter of Kris and Cindy Nordstog of Billings, entered into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday morning, Nov. 25, 1998.
Survivors include her parents; her maternal grandparents, Carole Clingman of Billings and Rodger Clingman of Bozeman; her paternal grandparents, Lois Ann and Paul Nordstog of Billings; maternal great-grandparents, Anna Clingman of Big Timber and Grace and H.H. Fisher of Waco, Texas; her two uncles, John Clingman of Bozeman and Kim Nordstog and his wife Nona of Dallas, Texas; and her cousins, James Clingman and Tess, Dara, and Brett Nordstog.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Holy Cross cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Rainbow Support Group, c/o Molly Mills, 1431 Cascade Ave., Billings, MT 59102. Rainbow is a parent to parent infant loss support group. Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist Alderson Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Frances Bernice Roberts
Frances Bernice Roberts, 81, of Billings, formerly of Joliet, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at Billings Dea-coness Hospital.
Frances was born in Belfry, Sept. 23, 1917, to William Roy and Junie V. Saun-ders. She graduated from Joliet High School and went to Eastern Montana College where she received a teaching degree.
Frances married Charles Wayne Roberts on June 7, 1943, in Santa Ana, Calif. They farmed for over 50 years in the Joliet area, where Frances enjoyed gardening, growing roses and having her family and friends visit. She taught at the Fromberg school for many years. Frances enjoyed genealogy; was a 50 year member of Eastern Star in Aloha and Zidonian Chapters; she was a member of Harriet Elsroth Past Matrons, DAR, Joliet Social Garden Club and the Joliet Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter Jeanne Dykes (Duane) of Silesia; sons: Perry Roberts of Galesburg, Ill. and Lynn Roberts (Sheryl) of Fromberg; grandchildren: Annette Worden (Robert), Darin Dykes, Chris, Derek and Kevin Roberts; great-grandchildren: Trent and Brittany Worden; a sister, Aletha McDonald; and brothers: John and Eugene Saunders. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne and a brother, Kenneth Saunders.
Memorials are suggested to: Joliet Christian Church, PO Box 208, Joliet, MT 59041.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Joliet Christian Church. Interment will be in the Joliet cemetery. Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel, was in charge of arrangements.
