MILL IRON - Ernest R. Knipfer, 73, of Mill Iron, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, at the Holy Rosary Health Care Center in Miles City.
A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Stevenson Funeral Home in Ekalaka. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at the First Baptist Church Courtyard in Ekalaka with interment at 4 p.m. at the Fairview cemetery in Camp Crook, S.D.
Robert V. Olson
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Former Billings resident Robert V. Olson passed away at his home in Bakersfield on Oct. 18. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia, and daughters, Jane Hagelin, Susan Yeary, Cindy Grijalva, Vicki Patton, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bob was born in Wisconsin and raised in Billings. He excelled in all sports, loving basketball, hunting and fishing in particular. Bob retired from the Billings Fire Department after 25 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Billings BPOE and belonged to the Retired Fire Fighters Association.

WICKENBURG, Ariz. - Raymond H. Howard, 82, formerly of Billings, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998.
Funeral services were held Nov. 25, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Wickenburg. Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

ASPEN, Colo. - A memorial service for Earl Biss will be held on Sunday, Nov. 29, at the Prince of Peace Chapel in Aspen at 4 p.m. Immediately following the service, there will be a celebration of his life at the Motherlode Restaurant in Aspen.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at Ferries Funeral Home with interment at a later date in the Sheridan Municipal cemetery.
Abbie R. Wise
Abbie R. Wise passed away at Ginny Wanner's Personal Care Home on Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at the age of 86. She was born April 25, 1912, at Union Station, Monroe County, Tenn., the daughter of C. James and Neppie Wilson Rogers.
Abbie came to Montana to live with an aunt after the death of her parents. She married
John Wise Sr. on Oct. 4, 1930, in Helena. Abbie enjoyed gardening and raising flowers.
Mrs. Wise is survived by her son, John Jr. and his wife, Marilyn; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sr., and a brother in Englewood, Tenn., Jesse Rogers.
Visitations will be from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Smith Downtown Chapel. Friends and family will gather at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, at Sunset Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. Smith Downtown Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Dr. Earl W. Pust, 84, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, at the Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Champion Funeral Home.
