LIVINGSTON - Joy L. Henderson, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, at her home.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge.

Alice E. Henry
LIVINGSTON - Alice E. Henry, 79, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, at Livingston Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in the chapel of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home with graveside committal and burial in Mountain View cemetery.

Jacob F. Krum
BURIEN, Wash. - Born June 25, 1934, in Bridger, Mont.; died Nov. 15, 1998, in Burien at the age of 64 years.
Jacob grew up in the Bridger and Belfry area. He is survived by his companion, Mary Ann Powell; mother, Rose Krum; sons, Allen and Daniel Krum; daughter, Jani Krum; grandchildren, Keri, Kevin, Jason, Cheryl and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Antoio, Erica; brothers, Herman, Hank, Martin and Sam Krum; and sister, Selma Matson.
Memorial Service Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, at 1 p.m. at Bonney--Watson Parker Chapel, Seattle, (206) 244-2320.

Ramona Torres Leal
Our beloved mother, Ramona Torres Leal, went home to our Lord to spread her joy, which was boundless, at her home on Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1915, in Brownsville, Texas, the daughter of Justino Torres and Trenidad Luna. On June 24, 1934, she married Timoteo Leal. They moved to the Billings area in 1942.
Her happiest times were when she had all her family with her. She was very proud of her heritage and culture. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, singing and most of all helping people in need.
Survivors include two daughters, Lydia Castro of Billings and Rosita and husband, Pascual Trevino of Colstrip; a son, Frank and his wife, Sally Leal of Custer, S.D.; a sister, Petra Alegria of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Ramona was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, parents, a brother and sister.
The Vigil service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Smith's Downtown Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Holy Cross cemetery. The casket is closed.

Robert D. Loveland
POWELL, Wyo. - Robert D. Loveland, 76, died Monday, Nov. 16, 1998, at his home.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Hope Lutheran Church. Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home is in charge.

Anne Cronin Malee
GLENDIVE - Mass of Christian Burial for Anne Marie Malee, age 73, of Glendive, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jose Valliparambil officiating. Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998, at the Chapel of the Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home in Glendive. Rite of Committal will be in the Dawson County cemetery. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements.
Anne returned to the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998.
Anne was born on Oct. 28, 1925, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Jerry and Justiniana Cronin. Anne attended Omaha Catholic grade schools. Through the generosity of her brother, Joe, who was killed in action in World War II, she was able to attend Creighton University in Omaha. While there, Anne met her future husband, Dr. Tom Malee. Anne and Tom were married in Omaha on Aug. 24, 1946.
After Tom graduated from medical school, they lived in several communities, including Rantoul, Ill., where Tom was stationed after being called back into military service during the Korean conflict. Anne and her family lived for a brief time in western Montana, before settling in Glendive in 1952.
In addition to raising their eight children, Anne was very involved in her community and participated in The Cursillo movement in the 1970s. After her children were grown, Anne returned to college, and graduated from Eastern Montana College in Billings. For many years after that, she taught in Glendive Catholic and public schools. Her love for books and reading inspired her family and many others. She was very involved in her church and community.
Anne was a scholar and an accomplished woman athlete. Two of her children, and one of her grandchildren were state champion athletes. Anne was the foundation of her family. Her courage, integrity, and sense of humor inspired all around her. Her love for her family is boundless as is theirs for her. Anne was diagnosed with leukemia in 1987, and lived with the illness for nearly 12 years.
Anne is survived by her husband, Tom of Glendive; eight children, Tom Malee of Billings, Nancy Oreskovich of Newport Beach, Calif., Mary Crowley of Helena, Kevin Malee of Spokane, Wash., Con Malee of Anaconda, Tim Malee of Dallas, Bridgid Rubin of Marblehead, Mass., and Kate Boucher of Phoenix; 15 grandchildren, Anne Oreskovich, Chris Crowley and Nellie Crowley, Nick Crowley, Bridgid Crowley, Micah Crowley, Kassy Malee, Konner Malee, Kolt Malee, D.J. Malee, Brian Malee, Hannah Rubin, Jake Rubin, Isabelle Boucher, Jordan Boucher; her brother, Bernard Cronin of Omaha; two sisters, Rita Gill of Fremont, Neb., and Mary Gallaway of Sedona, Ariz.
We love you and miss you, but we know we will see you again.
Memorials are suggested to the Leukemia Society.

William Medicine Tail
CROW AGENCY - William "Billy" Medicine Tail, 66, of Crow Agency, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, in the Sheridan Veterans Administration Nursing Home.
Bahinna'kattiish "Well completed work" was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Crow Agency, a son of James and Mayme Stewart Medicine Tail. He grew up and attended schools in Crow Agency and Hardin, graduating from Hardin High School in 1952. While in high school, he was an honor student, member of the football, track and state championship basketball team of 1948-1949. He also was the 1952 Montana state shot-put champion.
Billy enlisted in the US Navy in 1952, served on the USS Bausell during the Korean Conflict and received his Honorable Discharge in 1956. Following his discharge, he enrolled in the University of Wyoming for two years and later attended a chef's dchool in San Francisco. He worked in San Francisco for several years, before returning to Crow Agency, where he was a chef at the Sun Lodge.
He was a coach for the youth of Crow Agency for numerous sports. He became ill in 1992 with cancer and entered the VA Nursing Home in 1997.
Billy was a member of the Big Lodge Clan and a child of the Whistling Water Clan.
Survivors include a daughter, Christie Medicine Tail of Crow Agency; a son, Yvon Dorral Little Light Medicine Tail Jr. of Crow Agency; three sisters, Danetta Falls Down, Clara Bull Tail and Clarice Eagle Feathers of Crow Agency; two brothers, Ronnie Stewart of Wyola and Mervin Haven of Alaska; an adopted brother, Robbie Dean Plays of Crow Agency; three nieces, Marlene Falls Down of Crow Agency, Karna Falls Down of Dunmore and Sharon Not Afraid of Lodge Grass; a nephew, Corbin "Theo" Plays, N.Y.; four grandchildren, George and Clarence Little Wolf Sr., Josephine Little Light and Helen Hogan; four great-grandchildren, Roddy and Michael Not Afraid, Clarence Little Wolf Jr. and Anthony Little Wolf, as well the Real Bird, Little Light, Stewart and Yarlott families.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Crow Agency First Crow Indian Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Crow Agency cemetery. Bullis Mortuary of Hardin has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Wilbert W. Sauers
Wilbert W. Sauers, 82, of Billings, formerly Bellville, Mich., died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Wayne, Mich. Interment was in Washtenong Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Clydehurst Christian Ranch, 802 N. 27th St., Billings, MT 59101.
Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist had charge of local arrangements.

Solomon Schoessler
LAUREL - Solomon "Sol" Schoessler, 86, of Laurel passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 1998, at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings.
Sol was born Dec. 17, 1911, at Ritzville, Wash., a son of Henry and Mary Schoessler. Hr was married to Alice King at Absarokee in 1945. They moved to Laurel in 1946 and had farmed in the area since that time. Sol had been caretaker for Laurel cemetery for several years until his retirement.
He loved horses and was Appaloosa Cow Cutting Horse Champion-Montana in 1975.
Sol was preceded in death by his wife, Alice in January of 1996. He is survived by two sisters, Lydia Montgomery of Billings and Martha Mitchell of Absarokee, and by many nieces and nephews in Washington, Montana, California, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel with interment in the Laurel cemetery.

Mae Shoopman
THERMOPOLIS, Wyo. - Mae Shoopman, 91, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, at Canyon Hills Manor.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Mortimore Funeral Home with interment in Monument Hill cemetery.

Michelle Lea Stanley
POWELL, Wyo. - Michelle Lea Stanley, 39, of Powell, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Miratsky-Easton Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel with interment in Crown Hill cemetery.

Jennifer L. Storment
WORLAND, Wyo. - Jennifer L. Storment, 51, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the United Methodist Church with interment in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Bryant Funeral Home is in charge.

Raymond L. Wetherell
Raymond L. Wetherell, 47 of Billings, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, at Deaconess Medical Center.
The son of Edward O. and Barbara Wetherell, Ray was born Dec. 3, 1950, in Pasco, Wash. He was raised and educated in the Tri-Cities area. After graduating from high school he served as a gunnery sergeant in the Army for four years. Following his discharge he returned to Pasco. In 1973 he moved to Spokane and has made his home in Billings since 1986. He was a painter with Painters Local No. 1922 and had worked at the Conoco and Exxon Refineries.
Ray had played minor league baseball and had coached little league baseball at Optimist Park. He enjoyed throwing darts, wood working, hunting and fishing.
He had been married to Peggy Gibson for 15 years.
Survivors include five sons, Ed Wetherell of Odessa, Wash., Shawn Crane of Scottsbluff Neb., Chris Wetherell of Medical Lake, Wash., Christopher Crane of Billings, and Brandon Crane of Billings; four grandchildren, Skyler and Kayla Wetherell, Alaura Crane and Alicia Stenberg; his brother, Dennis Wetherell of Rigby, Idaho; and a sister, Pat Wetherell of Vancouver, Wash.
Visitation will begin 11 a.m. Wednesday at Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist, Alderson Chapel. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist, Alderson Chapel. Cremation will follow the services. Following the services a reception will be held at the Labor Temple, 530 S. 27th.
Memorials may be made to the Scleraderma Foundation, 89 Newbury St., Suite 201, Danvers, MA. 01923.

Glada Fern Simon Carmony
EDGAR - Glada Fern Simon Carmony, 83, of Edgar, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 14, 1998.
Glada was born to Floyd & Caroline (Abbie) Simon at Speed, Kan., on Feb. 3, 1915, the oldest of three children. They moved to Montana in 1930. She graduated form Edgar High School in 1935 and on June 12 of the same year, married Lloyd Carmony. Together they had four children.
In her later years, Glada worked at dude ranches in Wyoming, Arizona, and also at Glacier Park. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, positive attitude, lovingness towards family and friends and eagerness to play a good game of Scrabble. Glada was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and son Jim. Survivors include a brother Bill of Denver. Children, Iris Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo., Gary of Helena, and Donna Carmony of Billings. Seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. Also many special friends and neighbors survive.
Memorials are suggested to ZooMontana Sensory Gardens. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel. Interment will be in Rockvale cemetery.

Ella E. Patte
Ella E. Patte, 64, of 104 Lewis Ave., passed away Nov. 14, 1998, at her home of natural causes.
Ella was born May 25, 1934, a daughter of George Dunlap and Mabel Jane Roach Dunlap.
Ella was preceded in death by two sons, David and John Patte, in 1975.
Survivors include her children Joye Schalz of California and Tom Patte of Sheridan; one grandchild; and her sister, Rose Tremaine, of California. Her special companion Don McCracken of Billings also survives her.
Ella was devoted to family history. She has been working for years gathering pictures, family stories and family trees on the Dunlaps, Hughes and other ancestors. She was preparing material for a detailed Dunlap line and had many people working on it. The book will be published mainly as a result of Ella's efforts.
Ella was a lady of many talents and used them to benefit others in many ways. She was a member of Shining Mountain DAR, the Billings Caledonian Society, Yellowstone Genealogy Forum, Daughters of the American Colonists, and standing President of Dunlap-Dunlap Society of North America.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Smith's West Chapel, 304 34th St. West. Burial will be at the Catholic cemetery in Ryegate following services.
