SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. - Marvin Mollgaard, 73, of Sun City West, formerly of Miles City, Mont., passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, in Sun City West. He had been in ill health for some time.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, in the Bethel Baptist cemetery in Powers Lake, N.D. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of arrangements.

Leslie Amos Fourstar
FRAZER - Leslie Amos Fourstar, 82, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at Deaconess Hospital in Billings of natural causes.
A wake service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Frazer Community Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Frazer School Gymnasium with interment in the Frazer cemetery. Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is in charge.

TERRY - Albert Sidney Brubaker, 91, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at the Prairie Community M.A.F.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, in the Chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with private family interment at a later date.

Jimmie 'Ann' Toma
SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Jimmie "Ann" Toma, 61, of Sheridan, passed away at her home on Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, of cancer.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held in Three Forks, Mont., at a later date. Champion Funeral Home of Sheridan is in charge of arrangements.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Pete Jensen, 93, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 1998, at Westview Health Care Center in Sheridan.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, in Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheridan. Champion Funeral Home of Sheridan is in charge of arrangements.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Sara Mae Volz, 72, passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at her Sheridan residence of pancreatic cancer.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, in First Baptist Church in Sheridan. Champion Funeral Home of Sheridan is in charge of arrangements.

GREAT FALLS - Kally L. (Hartford) Biggs, 43, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at her home in Great Falls.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, in the Cloyd Chapel in Lewistown. Cremation has taken place.

GLASGOW - Wyona F. Jimison, 69, died Sunday Dec. 13, 1998, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at St. Raphael's Catholic Church with interment at Highland cemetery. Bell Mortuary is in charge.

Helen M. Carmine
SHERIDAN Wyo. - Helen M. Carmine, 87, died Monday Dec. 14, 1998, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.
Viewing will be from 1 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Ferries Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with interment at Sheridan Municipal cemetery.

John Edward Borden
POWELL, Wyo. - John Edward Borden, 69, died Sunday Dec. 13, 1998, at his home in Powell.
Services are pending and interment will be in Livermore, Calif.

Elizabeth Horn
Elizabeth Horn, 76, died Dec. 12, 1998, at the home of her son in Fort Belknap. Her traditional name was "Twirling Woman."
She was born June 7, 1922, in Frazer, a daughter of Stonewall Jackson and Ethel Archambeault. She attended schools in Frazer and married Gilbert Horn, Sr., in 1949. They made their home at Fort Belknap.
Mrs. Horn worked at Head Start, the Senior Citizens Center and as a CDC for the Tribal Council, all at Fort Belknap and she had also been involved in delivering food for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed sewing and had made many star quilts, tepees, vests and flags. She was a member of the Red Bottom Clan and loved powwows, spending time with her family and she had helped raise her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of Fort Belknap; eight sons, John Bearcub, Jr. of Wolf Point, Lonnie Wayne Herschel of Ardmore, Okla., Buddie Horn, Donald "Duck" Horn, Walter Horn, Kermit Horn, Curtis Horn and Charlie Horn, all of Fort Belknap; three daughters, Willowa "Sis" Murdock, Margaret Horn and Peggy Bull, all of Fort Belknap; a sister, Edith Blount of Frazer; 32 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, two sons, a daughter and one grandson.
A wake will be held at the Red Whip Center in Fort Belknap on Monday with rosary at 7 p.m. The Rev. Joseph Retzel will be in charge.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Frazer Community Hall. The Rev. Ronn Moccasin of Frazer and Abel Follet of Wolf Point will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery at Frazer with Clayton Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Mary (Loeffelman) Liedle
Mary A. Liedle, life-long Billings resident passed away Dec. 12, 1998, at Parkview Nursing Home, where she had resided the last several years. She was born Aug. 19, 1907, the youngest of three children born to John and Magdalena "Agnes" Loeffelman.
Mom was raised and educated in Billings, attended Taft, Garfield, Jefferson and Billings High School.
On Oct. 17, 1928, she was united in marriage to a prize fighter named Rueben "Young Dempsey" Liedle. To this union one child was added, Jack Robert Liedle. This marriage lasted 46 years, when "Demps" died of cancer.
During World War II, the family moved to Vanport, Ore., where they were employed by Kaiser shipyards. Upon their return to Billings, Mom again worked at the Billings Laundry until its closure. She finished her working career at Big Sky Linen Supply after putting in several years at Billings Dairy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Nick Loeffelman, and a sister Elizabeth Lindmark.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Jack and Barbara of Billings, brother Art Schneider of Dubois, Wyo., four grandsons, one granddaughter, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitations will begin Tuesday morning at Smith Downtown Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Smith Downtown Chapel with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Patricia Coakley Mayne
EDMONDS, Wash. - Patricia Coakley Mayne, age 62, passed away Nov. 30, 1998, in Edmonds, Wash. Patricia was born and raised in Billings, Mont., the daughter of Ralph J. Coakley and Alice Sweeney Coakley. Patricia was a graduate of Billings Central High School. She was employed for many years with Johnson Controls and the last six years with Baugh Construction Company. She is survived by her uncle, Hugh Sweeney of Billings, Mont.; cousins Jean Cellmer of Rapelje, Mont., Doris E. Parker of Belgrade, Mont.; and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass was held Monday, Dec. 7, 1998, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mountlake Terrace, Wash. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral, Billings, Mont., at 12 noon on Dec. 16, 1998.

Joseph Steven Mickolio
Joseph Steven Mickolio, 56, died Friday, Dec. 11, 1998.
He was born Oct. 28, 1942, in Wolf Point, the son of John and Mary (Dutchuk) Mickolio. He grew up on his parents' farm southwest of Vida, attended Rose Valley Country School through the eighth grade and graduated from Wolf Point High School.
He married Dixie Sugden in Wolf Point on May 7, 1962. They lived in Wolf Point for 14 years and he worked for Lyle's Conoco and, later, Rathert-Schreiber Ford. In June, 1976, they moved back to the family farm at Vida. He continued to work for the Ford Garage until 1979, then worked for Peters' Auto until 1980 when he started Mickolio Repair on the farm. He was well-respected for his mechanical abilities and he found great pride and fulfillment in the work he did.
He enjoyed raising his seven children, organic wheat and Black Angus cattle. He was happiest when he had his children and grandchildren around him and he enjoyed hunting and visiting with his many friends. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church at Vida, Mont.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Mickolio.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Mickolio of Wolf Point; his wife, Dixie, of Vida; seven children and their spouses - Joel and Deanna of Laurel, Jonathon and Karlyne of Williston, N.D., Jim of Billings, Jason and Michele, also of Billings, Josh of the family home, Michele and Loren Carlson of Wolf Point and Mandi of the family home; six grandchildren - Stephanie and Brandon Mickolio of Williston, Jaron and Cari Mickolio of Laurel, and Nathan and Aaron Carlson of Wolf Point; one brother, Lawrence, of Culbertson; three sisters and their husbands, Elizabeth and Everett Breigenzer of Glasgow, Josephine and Glenn Howsden of Littleton, Colo., and Theresa and Val Malafeew of Frederick, Md.
Vigil services will be held at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Clayton Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Immaculate Conception Church in Wolf Point. Burial will be in Holy Eucharist cemetery southwest of Vida. Clayton Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Doris E. West
FAIRVIEW - Doris E. West, 78, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at the Sidney Health Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairview, with interment at Sidney cemetery. Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney is in charge.

Clara M. Moore Carlson
ROUNDUP - Clara M. Moore Carlson passed away early Friday morning, Dec. 11, 1998, after a long illness. She was born Aug. 1, 1942, to Charles and Frances Moore, the oldest of four children.
Clara lived on the family ranch and went to school in Musselshell, Mont. During her senior year, she met John Carlson and married him shortly after graduation. Together they had two sons, John Charles and William Stanley. Clara's life revolved around her sons, Charlie and Bill, and her granddaughter, Chelsie.
Clara was preceded in death by her mother and her youngest sister, Betty. She is survived by her husband, John of Roundup, Mont.; her father, Charles D. Moore of Roundup, Mont.; her sons Charlie and his wife Melanie, and daughter, Chelsie, of Fergus Falls, Minn.; and her son Bill of Minneapolis, Minn.; her two brothers, Orville and wife, Tonie; and Bill and wife, Trina, all of Roundup, Mont., and some aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998, at 1 p.m. at Wier Funeral Chapel in Roundup, Mont. Interment will follow at Roundup City cemetery. Reception will be at the Masonic Hall after the graveside services.

Harold Duane Goodale
BEACH, N.D. - Harold Duane Goodale, 69, died Friday, Dec. 11, 1998, in Dickinson, N.D.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wibaux, Mont., with interment at Wibaux cemetery. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Beach is in charge.

Sigrid Kalberg
Sigrid Kalberg, 91, passed away from natural causes at Mountain View Care Center on Friday, Dec. 11. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Sigrid was born July 24, 1907, in Stavanger, Norway to Tollief and Bertha Marie (Kverneland) Hinnaland, When she was one year old her parents left Norway and established a sheep ranch north of the small community of Brockway, Mont. Sigrid grew up along with two younger brothers, Daniel and Martin Hinnaland, and a sister, Hannah Hinnaland Bragg. She graduated from Terry High School in May, 1924. She attended Normal School at Miles City College, started her teaching career at a small rural school in Eastern Montana in the fall of 1924 and completed her college work by correspondence while teaching. She received her degree in 1926 and continued teaching for a total of eight years.
On June 7, 1930, Sigrid married Louie Kalberg at Forsyth, Mont. They made their home in Brockway, Mont., where Louie operated a garage. During the next 14 years they had four children, lived in various communities in Eastern Montana, then moved to Harlowton in March of 1944. Sigrid was appointed Deputy County Treasurer in 1951 and served continuously in that office as Deputy and then Treasurer for the next 27 years, retiring in March, 1978. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Harlowton, going through the various positions of office including a term as Worthy Matron. She also was an active member of the Harlowton BPW Club and a member of American Lutheran Church. After retirement from public office, Sigrid moved to Bozeman where she spent the rest of her life close to her two daughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie, her son, Tom Kalberg, her brother Daniel, and her sister Hannah. She is survived by her daughter, Donna MacNab and her husband Duncan of Bozeman; her daughter, Mary Lou Aicher and her husband Paul of Bozeman; her son, Stan Kalberg and his wife Enid of Harlowton, her daughter-in-law, June Kalberg of Billings; her brother, Martin Hinnaland of Billings; nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial in Sigrid's name may be sent to: American Lutheran Church, Harlowton, Mont.; Shriner's Hospital, P.O. Box 2472, Spokane, Wash. 99210-2472; or to the charity of donor's choice.

Joseph M. Klopcich
Joseph M. Klopcich, 82, passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 11, at St. John's Lutheran Nursing Home. Joe was born June 15, 1916, in Kansas to Joseph and Francis Klopcich.
Joe served as a Merchant Marine during WWII. For 15 years he worked at Star Meat Company in Red Lodge. He was employed by Pierce Packing Meat Company for 35 years, retiring as Sales Coordinator in 1980. Joe was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Isla, son, Max (Penny), and his special granddaughter, Marcia, all of Billings; and his sisters, Mary Foley of Laurel and Francis Rothe of Sheboygan, Wis. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy.
Cremation has taken place and at Joe's request, there will be no services. Dahl Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may go to charity of one's choice.
