Mr. Ronald "Ron" Harvey Elledge, 51, of Kings Gate Drive, died March 5, 2001, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on Feb. 3, 1950, to Wintfred Harvey and Addie Jessup Elledge. Mr. Elledge was a graduate of Parkland High School and attended Forsyth Technical Community College. He was employed at Miller Brewing Co. in Eden for 25 years, where he was a member of the MAC Club. He was an avid sportsman and he was a past president of the Sportsman Wildlife Club. He is survived by his wife, Diane Elledge; a daughter, Staci Foltz and her husband Jeff of Winston-Salem; a sister, Bobbie Craven and her husband Sam of Winston-Salem; a special niece, Christie Griffin; and a nephew, Cody. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2001, at Forest Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Wooten and Chaplain Mike Durham officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family wishes to express a special thanks to all family and friends, especially to the friends and co-workers at Miller Brewing Co.

EVERHART

Richard Coman Everhart of Welcome died Tuesday March 6, 2001, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County March 28, 1920, to Willie Coman and Zeffie Darr Everhart. Mr. Everhart was a member of Elon Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. Mr. Everhart was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Yokley Everhart; a great-grandson, Jacob Charles Kepley and a brother, Connie Everhart. Richard is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jimmie Susan Koonts and Mrs. Charles Vickey Kepley of Welcome; a son, Richard "Rick" Coman Everhart Jr. and wife Judy of Arcadia; six grandchildren, Timothy Charles Kepley and wife Tiffany, Wendy Kepley Dameron, Richard Scott Everhart, Amy Everhart Canovia and husband Travis, Christy Koonts Benson and husband Scott, and Amanda LeeAnn Koonts; six great-grandchildren, Kayla Gallimore, Madison Keenan, Hailey Dameron, Wesley Chase Everhart, Payton McKenize Everhart and Emma Catherine Benson. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2001, at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with the Rev. James Chatham and the Rev. Jim Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gideons International, P.O. Mr. Joseph Foggie, 40, of 5350 Old Walkertown Road passed away March 5, 2001, at Pellcare Nursing Home. Services are incomplete. Services are entrusted to Beasley's Funeral Service.

FULTON

Mrs. Arnice Richardson Topp Fulton, 84, of Salemtowne died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born Aug. 2, 1916, in Sumter, S.C., to Harvey Everett and Laura Richardson Topp. She attended local schools, graduating from R.J. Reynolds High School in 1932. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Salem College in 1937 and taught at Leaksville High School from 1937 to 1940 and at Arcadia High School from 1942 until 1943. Mrs. Fulton was a member of Calvary Moravian Church. She was married June 18, 1940, to the Rev. John W. Fulton Sr., the pastor of Friedburg Moravian Church, serving with him at Friedburg, Calvary, Great Kills, New York and Raleigh Moravian churches. Surviving are her husband of Salemtowne Retirement Com-munity; four children, John W. Fulton Jr. of Annandale, Va., Sarah E. Fulton of Rockville, Md., Martha C. Fulton of Jamaica Queens, N.Y., and Thomas R. Fulton of Westfield, N.J.; six grandchildren, Susan F. Boni, John M. Fulton, David J. Harding, Philip J. Harding, Erik J. Fulton and Benjamin O. Fulton. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Moravian Church by the Rev. Lane Sapp and the Rev. David Merritt. Burial will be in the Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Vogler & Sons Main Street Chapel. Donations may be made to the Arnice and John W. Fulton Sr. Staff Development and Training Fund, Salemtowne Retirement Community, 2000 Salemtowne Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27106, c/o Steven Burkhead.

PILOT MOUNTAIN - Mr. Gaylon William Goins, 66, of 4583 Highway 268 E. died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2001, at Howell Funeral Chapel in Pilot Mountain.

ISLER

GOLDSBORO - Mrs. Pauline Isler, 86, of 417 S. Slocumb St. died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Wood's Chapel Church, 928 New Hope Road, Goldsboro, with the Rev. Ricky Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mill cemetery, Goldsboro. Mrs. Isler is survived by her husband, Mr. Emmitt Isler of the home; two sons, Elder Michael Isler of Winston-Salem and Broderick Isler of Goldsboro; two brothers, Mr. James Jones and Mr. Leslie Jones of Goldsboro; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a viewing Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Wood's Chapel Church 35 minutes before the service. The family will assemble at 417 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, one hour prior to the service. Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. Goldsboro is serving the family.

JOHNSON

Mrs. Josephine Adams Johnson, 89, passed away Tuesday, March 6, at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. She was born Jan. 18, 1912, in East Bend to Lonia Poindexter and Henry Cleveland Adams. She retired from the dietary department at Hoots Memorial Hospital in 1976. Josephine was a charter member of Maplewood Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Yadkin Chapter No. 233. Jo loved people and was a friend to all. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thad Johnson, and brothers Genie and Bruster Adams. Survivors include sons Ronal E. Johnson of Winston-Salem, Donald L. and wife Frances and Christopher A. and wife Hilda of Yadkinville. Josephine had six grandchildren, Ronnie, Christina and Christopher Johnson and Jason D'Amico of Yadkinville, Lisa Johnson and Donna (Michael) Wilson of Winston-Salem; three great-grandchildren, Betty Jo Johnson, Morgan and Lucas Wilson of Winston-Salem; a sister, Barbara (Wayne) Lovelace of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and a brother, Frear Adams of Yadkinville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Maplewood Baptist Church in Yadkinville by the Rev. Freddie Braswell and the Rev. Richard Eskew. Interment will be in the Charity Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Gentry Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Maplewood Baptist Church, P.O. Box 576, Yadkinville, NC 27055. Vogler Main Street Chapel is serving the Johnson family.

MARTIN

STATE ROAD - Mr. Billy Joe Martin, 65, of Forest Lane, formerly of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Martin was born Jan. 13, 1936, in Surry County to Ira Tildon and Viola Griffith Martin. Mr. Martin was retired from Champion International in Hamilton, Ohio, and was a member of East Elkin Full Gospel Church. Mr. Martin was also a member of Catawba Valley Transportation Club, past president of the Hudson High School Quarterback Club and Head Missionary of Butler Co., Hamilton, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Martin Sneed and Donna Martin Wood. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Wilda Maxine Settle Martin of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randall Martin and fiancée Helen Gandara of Houston, Texas, and Greg and Cindy Martin of Whitsett; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy and Greg Thumberger of Hamilton, Ohio, and Michelle Martin of Elkin; six brothers, Bobby Martin of Lenoir, Tommy Martin of Granite Falls, Jimmy Martin of Jonesville, Charles Martin and the Rev. Philip "Buck" Martin of Lenoir and John Martin of Hickory; two sisters, Helen Buie of Lenoir and Pat Goodwin of Winston-Salem; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, March 8, 2001, at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Jerry Childress and the Rev. Doug Combs. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the service. The family will accept flowers, or memorials may be made to East Elkin Full Gospel Church Ministries.

PARDUE

Mrs. Cletia Nicks Pardue passed away on March 5, 2001. She was a native of the Oak Grove Community and lived in Arlington for 50-plus years. Mrs. Pardue will always be remembered for her optimism, generosity of spirit, humor, her love of athletics and deep devotion to her family and her faith in God. She was a strong supporter of education and in her early years served as a part-time schoolteacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Pardue; her parents, P.M. Nicks, Queen Victoria Nicks; two brothers, Guthrie Nicks and Garvey Nicks; and a sister, Ruby N. Wagoner. Mrs. Pardue is survived by a sister, Novella N. Cheek; and four children, Donald D. (Lila) Pardue, Jimmy A. (Marie) Pardue, Sarah P. (Jim) Shipe and Dr. Howard M. (Linda) Pardue; seven grandchildren, Dean Pardue, the Rev. Kenny Pardue, Chris Pardue, Sheree S. Roper, Jami S. Nordenstam, Mark Pardue and Lori P. Layton; and eight great-grandchildren, Nathan Pardue, Emily Pardue, Josh Pardue, Caleb Pardue, Seth Pardue, Matthew Roper, Jakob Nordenstam and Jack Pardue. Memorials can be made to the Hospice of Yadkin County, P.O. Box 1264 Yadkinville, NC 27055. Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin is in charge of the funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home and other times the family will be at the residence at 115 Vestal Ave., Arlington. Services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2001, at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel.

PEDDYCORD

Mrs. Nell Robertson Peddycord, a loving and wonderful lady, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. One of eight children, Nell was born April 13, 1908, to John D. and Dora Brown Robertson in Henry County, Va. She moved to Mayodan at an early age and graduated from Madison-Mayodan High School and later from Draughons Business College, and while attending Draughons she met her husband of 49 years, Henry G. Peddycord Sr. She worked with her husband in the family business until his death in 1980. She was a member of Crews United Methodist Church since 1957. Surviving are two sons, Harvey G. Peddycord Jr. of Santee, S.C. and Larry E. Peddycord and his wife Linda C. Peddycord of Clemmons and a granddaughter, Leane Alicia Peddycord, whom she loved very much. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her six brothers, Jesse, Roy, Will, Clyde, Watt and Sam Robertson and a sister, Mary Lou Robertson. She had many nieces and nephews, whom she enjoyed having in her home for annual family reunions. The family wishes to thank their special friends, Blanche Gallo, Louise Thomas and Cathy Sublett for their tender care during Mrs. Peddycord's illness. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Crews United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Wanda Ogden, Pastor, officiating. Mrs. Peddycord will lie in state 30 minutes before the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel. They request that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 1100-C S. Stratford Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Crews United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4150 Reidsville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.

PLITT

Mr. Joseph Plitt, 92, formerly of 631 Arbor Road died Monday, March 5, 2001,at Arbor Acres. Mr. Plitt was born in Baltimore, Md., July 8, 1908, to Joseph Augustus and Anna K. Plitt. A member of First Christian Church, Mr. Plitt was a deacon, the president of his Sunday school class and was active in the church youth program. He was a manufacturer's representative for various furniture companies for 60 years, retiring in 1983. Mr. Plitt was the husband of the late Fern Williams Plitt, who died March 6, 1988. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Madeline Egner of Baltimore, Md. He is survived by two sons, Joseph Ben Plitt and wife Bonnie of Clemmons and Charles W. Plitt and wife Martha Jo of Winston-Salem; four grandsons, Joseph Jr., Edward, Will and David Plitt; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, with the Rev. James Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. in the church parlor. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 2320 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.

REICH

MOCKSVILLE - Mrs. Marilyn Macy Reich, 68, of North Main Street passed away Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Reich was born Sept. 29, 1932, in Columbia, Ohio, to the late Lee Edwin and Olive M. Vail Macy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janet M. Lake. Mrs. Reich retired in 1994 from Colonial Mini Storage Facility, where she was an office manager. She was involved in South Little League of Winston-Salem and Valinda Little League of California. She was also active in the PTA in Grandview, Calif., and coached girl's softball. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Charles C. Reich; two sons, Kenneth Reich of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Charles E. Reich and wife Heather of Mocksville; and two daughters, Teri Lowe of Susanville, Calif., and Laurie Scott and husband David of Lexington. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2001, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4260 Clinard Road, Clemmons, with Bishop Gary Delozier officiating. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be at Rose cemetery in Mocksville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Davie Funeral Service Chapel. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Alliance Foundation, Bernice Smith Fund, Memorial Park Drive, Suite 600, Columbia, SC 29203. Davie Funeral Service LLC, 416 Valley Road, Mocksville, will be serving the Reich family.

ROBERTS

EDEN - Mrs. Jessie Dunivant Roberts, 92, of 431 Cedar St. died March 1, 2001, at the Brian Center. The service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. She was born in Stokes County, the daughter of the late George and Jettie Dunivant. Mrs. Roberts was a member of First Wesleyan Church and a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Billie Roberts Hill and Albert of Eden; grandchildren Jan O'Dell and husband Jimmy of Eden, Karen Thompson and husband Robert of Thomasville and Sherri Roberts of Eden; great-grandchildren Amy Whitt, Spencer O'Dell, Lauren Parker, Jay Parker, Hank Turner, Kristen Thompson and Katherine Thompson; great-great-grand-children Jordan and Peyton Turner; a sister, Aline Boles of Westfield; brother-in-law Jim Whitner of Reidsville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Roberts, and a son, Everett Jack Roberts. Memorials may be made to First Wesleyan Church, 607 Church St., Eden NC.

SESLOW

Martha S. Seslow, 54, of Winston-Salem died March 6, 2001. Born in Murfreesboro, Tenn., 20 years of her life was spent in South Florida before she relocated to Winston-Salem five months ago. She was employed by Forsyth Medical Center. Survivors include a daughter, Denise L. Blake; a son, Stuart R. Allen II; her stepmother, Shirley Kilgore; a stepbrother, Tim Coleman; and three grand-children. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends for 30 minutes before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 61 Miller St., Winston-Salem, NC 27104. SNYDER

Mr. Joe Harold Snyder, 65, of 707 Devon Court died March 3, 2001, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salisbury. Survivors include his wife, Kay E. Snyder; son David and his wife Ann; and a son, Mark. The remains will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central North Carolina Chapter, P.O. Box 958, Greensboro, NC 27402-0958.

TUCKER

Mr. Leroy Tucker Jr. of 518 W. 241/2th St. passed away Saturday morning, March 3, at the Wake Forest University-Baptist Medical Center after a period of illness. He was a native of Salisbury and a resident of Winston-Salem for most of his life, where he attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County public schools. Mr. Tucker was of the Baptist faith. His survivors include two sons, DeCarlos West of Fayetteville and Little Leroy of Winston-Salem; his mother, Mildred Singletary; three sisters, Aquilla Rousseau, Debbie (Charles) Jackson and Angela (Randolph) Wilds; a brother, Bernard Singletary Jr., all of Winston-Salem; an uncle; a great-aunt; a great-uncle; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2001, in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home, with the Rev. R.L Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. (Hooper).
