DUNN -- Thomas Maynor, 82, of Dunn died Saturday in Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Price Funeral Home in Erwin by the Rev. Jerry Groves. Burial will be in Devotional Gardens.
Mr. Maynor is survived by a son, James Maynor of Houston; a brother, Milford Maynor of Dunn; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Milford Maynor.

Mrs. Patricia R. Moore
LAURINBURG -- Mrs. Patricia Ann Rowdy Moore, 50, of 604 Deluca St. died Friday in her home.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Graham Temple Church of God in Christ by the Rev. Andrew Fairley. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by Jackson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore is survived by a son, Edward Rowdy of Maxton; four daughters, Lisa McLaurin of Laurel Hill, Malanie Bullard and Brenda Ratliff, both of Laurinburg, and Cathy Carlisle of McColl, S.C.; two brothers, William Rowdy Jr. and Melvin Rowdy, both of Maxton; three sisters, Queen McRae of Maxton, Teresa Monroe of Laurinburg and Charlie M. Lewis of New York; and 11 grandchildren.
The public will be received today from 1 to 6 p.m. at the church.

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. -- Mrs. Lula Mae Sessoms, 86, of Zephyrhills, formerly of Hoke County, N.C., died Monday in Heritage Park Specialty Care Center in Dade City.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Kelly Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Local arrangements are being handled by Crumpler Funeral Home of Raeford, N.C.
Mrs. Sessoms is survived by a daughter, Brenda M. Sessoms of the home; two sons, Willard L. Sessoms of Dade City and Perry S. Sessoms of Okeechobee; a brother, Sam Overton of Ridge Manor; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

BLADENBORO -- Dobbie Garvis Gardner, 20, of Bladenboro died Saturday in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Mr. Gardner is survived by a daughter, Adreiona K. Gardner of Harrells; his mother, Darrell G. Gardner of Bladenboro; a sister, Mary W. Collins of Hamlet; three brothers, Benny Yarborough and Larry Gardner, both of Bladenboro, and Robbie Gardner of Elizabethtown; and his step-grandmother, Mrs. Garvis Hood of Clarkton.

STEDMAN -- Mrs. Ruby Parker Core, 84, of Stedman died Monday in Woodhaven Nursing Home in Lumberton.
The funeral will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro by the Rev. Andy Wood. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Magnolia Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Core is survived by a daughter, Doris P. Brooks of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sons, William S. “Bill” Parker of Denver and James F. “Bud” Parker of Spring Lake; two stepdaughters, Peggy Harris and Patty Strange, both of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dixon Britt Sr.
LUMBERTON -- Dixon Britt Sr., 72, of Matthews Bluff Drive died Monday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Britt was a retired deputy sheriff for the Robeson County Sheriff’s Department. He was a farmer and a member of Proctorville Masonic Lodge 643.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Meadowbrook cemetery.
Mr. Britt is survived by his wife, Ava P. Britt of the home; a son, Dixon Britt Jr. of Fairmont; two daughters, Sandra B. Owen and Brenda B. Prease, both of Lumberton; a sister, Elsie Allen of Atlanta; and two grandchildren.

LUMBERTON -- Mrs. Luellen Jacobs McMillan, 68, of Red Tip Drive died Monday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
She was a Sunday school teacher for 22 years at Smyrna Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Smyrna Baptist Church by the Revs. Ronald Locklear, Charles Locklear and David Hunt. Burial will be in Robeson Memorial Park.
Mrs. McMillan is survived by her husband, Warren McMillan of the home; two sons, Paul E. McMillan of Columbia, S.C., and Bobby R. McMillan of St. Pauls; six daughters, Debra M. Locklear of Hope Mills, and Doris Carter, Kathleen Smith, Magelene Jacobs, Earlene Jacobs and Jonie M. Chavis, all of Lumberton; three brothers, Luther E. Jacobs, R.C. Jacobs and Neil Jones Jr., all of Lumberton; four sisters, Dovie Oxendine and Vashtie Jacobs, both of St. Pauls, and Carrie M. Jones and Mary F. Mr. McAllister is survived by four daughters, Julia McAllister of Lillington, Ethel McAllister and Minnie P. McAllister, both of Dunn, and Carolyn Green of Orangeburg, S.C.; two sons, James W. McAllister of Wadesboro and Thomas C. McAllister of Dunn; a brother, James D. McAllister of Richmond, Va.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
