Mrs. Connor was an Army veteran and a cosmetologist.

Mrs. Connor is survived by her husband, L.J. Connor of the home; two sons, Michael Schneider Jr. and Christopher Connor, both of Lumberton; a sister, Dorcas Fisher of Lumberton; and three grandchildren.

John B. Maultsby Jr.
WHITEVILLE -- John B. Maultsby Jr., 56, of 102 Cape Fear Drive died Tuesday in Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Wilmington.
Mr. Maultsby had retired from Rick Edwards Chevrolet in Whiteville after 10 years of service. He coached basketball, softball and little league baseball teams in Wilmington. Mr. Maultsby was an Army veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Whiteville and a former member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Wilmington.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn cemetery in Wilmington by the Rev. Roger Gilbert.
Mr. Maultsby is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Maultsby; two sons, Michael Maultsby of Jacksonville and John D. Maultsby of Wilmington; a brother, Lawrence S. Maultsby of Wilmington; and a grandson.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Peacock’s Chapel in the Pines.
