Harold Clement Mazzan, 72, of 3433 Clemson Drive, Fayetteville, died Saturday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Mazzan was the former owner of Four Flames.
A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in Good Shepherd Catholic Church by Father Gaul. Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Mazzan is survived by his wife, Jean E. Mazzan of Fayetteville; two sons, John Mazzan of Las Vegas and Harold Mazzan of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Linda M. Harrigan and Samantha Mazzan, both of Fayetteville; a brother, Carl Mazzan of Medford, N.J.; a sister, Julia Cuccarese of Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.

RALEIGH -- Mrs. Delores “Tootie” Hall Skurry Morgan, 68, of 5818 Poole Road, formerly of Fayetteville, died Friday in Wake Medical Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Strickland Funeral Home chapel in Wendell. Burial will be in Montlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband, Willie Morgan; three daughters, Darla Smith and Terry Ellis, both of Raleigh, and Lisa Bradshaw of Garner; a son, Roger G. Skurry Sr. of Clayton; her mother, Mallie Hall of Fayetteville; three sisters, Shirley Grady of Fayetteville, Sylvia Buchanan of Bradenton, Fla., and Eleanor Ayers of Stedman; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Nora M. Baldwin (Dated Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998)
ROCKINGHAM -- Mrs. Nora Mae Baldwin, 65, of 1609 Pine St. died Monday in Richmond Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in McEachern Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Carl Little. Burial will be in Rosedale Memorial Park.
Mrs. Baldwin is survived by a daughter, Earnestine Rouse of Rockingham; three brothers, Henry Johnson of Halifax, Va., Johnny Johnson of Syracuse, N.Y., and Fred Johnson of Rockingham; two sisters, Thislonia Jenkins and Sarah Johnson, both of Trenton; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 a.m to noon at the funeral home.

CARTHAGE -- Roy Burton Moore of 408 McNeill St. died Saturday in St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Margaret B. Moore of Carthage; a daughter, Deborah McMillan of Macclenny, Fla.; a son, the Rev. James A. Moore of Douglasville, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Lynn Gould of Gouverneur, N.Y.; a stepson, Kenny Boyte of Charlotte; a sister, Virginia “Dink” Davis of Greensboro; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

SANFORD -- Mrs. Sarah “Leila” Corley, 82, of 2525 Jefferson Davis Highway died Saturday in Convalescent Center of Lee County.

Mrs. Corley is survived by her husband, Henry Corley of Sanford; a son, James “Bucky” Corley of Sanford; two daughters, Martha Mashburn of Sanford and Jeanette Sellars of Cameron; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

CLINTON -- Mrs. Sadie Cherry, 80, of 107 W. Lee St. died Wednesday in Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Cherry is survived by a daughter, Carolyn C. Peoples of Riverdale, Md.; a son, Wesley Cherry of Clinton; two sisters, Ella D. Harris and Nellie D. Bennett, both of Elizabeth, N.J.; a brother, Isah McLamb of Knightdale; three grandchildren; and 12 step-grandchildren.

DUNN -- Neil Henry Massey Sr., 89, of 105 N. Jackson St. died Tuesday in Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Massey is survived by a son, Neil H. Massey Jr. of Dunn; a daughter, Rosa L. Salter of New Haven, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

John H. Flokstra (Dated Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998)
WEST END -- Dr. John H. Flokstra, 73, of 104 Calmwater Lane died Wednesday in FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Dr. Flokstra was head of clinical research for UpJohn Pharmaceutical for 31 years.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. December 27 in Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines by the Rev. Bill Korver. Arrangements are being handled by Boles Funeral Home of Seven Lakes.
Dr. Flokstra is survived by his wife, Mary J. Flokstra of Seven Lakes; a son, Fredric J. Flokstra of Greensboro; two daughters, Claudia G. Bishop of Topeka, Kan., and Katharine Ksiazkiewicz of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and two sisters, Marion Oosterman of Grandville, Mich., and Anna M. Vermeer of Lyndon, Wash.

Mr. Heaton is survived by his wife, Lena Mae R. Heaton of Tangerine.
