PINEHURST -- David Michael Freeman, 52, of Pinehurst died Wednesday in his home.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Powell Funeral Home chapel in Southern Pines by the Rev. Rick Wilkie. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife, Debra L. Freeman; two daughters, Heather Freeman of Charlotte and Jennifer Freeman of Pinehurst; his mother, Mary E. Freeman of Pinehurst; a sister, Jane F. Bunch of High Point; and a brother, Basil J. Freeman Jr. of Las Vegas.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

ERWIN -- Mrs. Delois McNeill Dwyer, 58, of 5429 Titan Roberts Road died Tuesday in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Oak Grove AME Zion Church by the Rev. A.L. Ferguson. Burial will be in Riverside Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Dwyer is survived by a son, Shelby McNeill of Fort Dix, N.J.; three daughters, Sharon Dwyer of Kearney, N.J., Pamela M. Grant of Queens, N.Y., and Marcia Dwyer of the home; her mother, Ella McNeill of Erwin; a sister, Pearl Grady of Bronx, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
The public will be received today from 2 to 7 p.m. at Dafford Funeral Home in Dunn.

WHISPERING PINES -- Retired Army Capt. Theodor A. Berghahn, 60, of Whispering Pines died Thursday in his home.
Mr. Berghahn was a certified financial planner.

Mr. Berghahn is survived by his wife, Catherine Berghahn; two sons, Theodor Berghahn Jr. of Shelbourne, Vt., and Craig Berghahn of Thornwood, N.Y.; a daughter, Donna Berghahn of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; two brothers, Walter Berghahn of Scotch Plains, N.J., and Robert Berghahn of Milbrook, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Merritt was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a dietitian at Lee County Hospital before retiring.

Mrs. Merritt is survived by her husband, Ralph C. Merritt of Sanford; a daughter, Kay S. Heckman of Sanford; a son, Danny Merritt of Dobson; two sisters, Mary Jane Mabe of Greensboro and Boyd Mabe of Hunstville, Ala.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
