William Albert Bonnett Sr., 77, of 5106 Donabell Drive, Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Bonnett was an Army veteran of World War II.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Cumberland Memorial Gardens by the Rev. John Willis.

Mr. Bonnett is survived by two sons, William A. Bonnett Jr. of Fayetteville and K. Dennis Bonnett of Wade; five daughters, Kathy Gange, Sharon Bonnett, Ann Huggins, and Christina Bonnett, all of Fayetteville, and Vickie Perkins of Batavia, N.Y.; a sister, Geraldine Beck of Camden, S.C.; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Hamilton-Porter Funeral Home in Hope Mills.

William A. Patterson

RED SPRINGS -- William Alford Patterson, 48, of 618 W. Fourth Ave. died Sunday in his home.

The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday in Mack’s Chapel Church by the Revs. Libby M. Kisseih and Wilson J. Terry. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife, Veronica M. Patterson of Lumberton; a son, Sgt. William M. Patterson of San Diego; two daughters, Devin S. Patterson of Lumberton and Sandra P. Owens of White Oak; his mother, Mattie L. Ferguson of Red Springs; two sisters, Marolyn F. McLean and Laura A. Ferguson, both of Red Springs; and three brothers, James W. Ferguson and John D. Ferguson, both of Red Springs, and James T. Patterson of St. Petersburg, Fla.

The public will be received today from 2 to 8 p.m. at L.E. Floyd Funeral Home.

Henry ‘Buck’ Thomas Jr.
CHADBOURN -- Henry ‘‘Buck‘‘ Thomas Jr., 62, of 3858 Old U.S. 74 died Monday in his home.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Hill’s Funeral Home in Fairmont by the Rev. Robert Young. Burial will be in Mill Branch Cemetery in Fairmont.

Mr. Thomas is survived by a stepdaughter, Arbradella Williams of the home; a stepson, Willie Barr Jr. of Chadbourn; several foster children; and several grandchildren.

The public will be received today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Janie H. Fisher

ROSEBORO -- Mrs. Janie Herring Fisher, 96, of 313 E. Roseboro St. died Tuesday in Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

Mrs. Fisher was a member of Roseboro United Methodist Church. She worked in real estate and farming.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Roseboro United Methodist Church by the Revs. Bryan Sexton and Jean Hood. Burial will be in Roseboro Cemetery.

Mrs. Fisher is survived by a daughter, Iris F. Goodwin of Roseboro; a son, Lenon H. Fisher of Roseboro; a sister, Isoline H. Griffin of Clinton; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Butler Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roseboro United Methodist Church organ fund.

Earl J. Davis

CLINTON -- Earl Johnson Davis, 74, of 209 Moore St. died Sunday in his home.

Mr. Davis worked for Ford Body Shop as a shop foreman before retiring. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Immanuel Baptist Church by the Revs. Allen Overton and Jimmy Whitfield. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery.

Mr. Davis is survived by a son, Larry J. Davis of Goldsboro; three daughters, Gail Wyant of White Hall, Va., Karen D. Malpass of Clayton and Sherri Melton of Clinton; a sister, Mary L. Sinclair of Clinton; two brothers, G.C. Davis of Garner and Willis Davis of Raleigh; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dorothy Canady ‘‘Doris’’ Lundy, 76, of 230 Pinecrest Drive, Fayetteville, died Tuesday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mrs. Lundy was a member of Synder Memorial Baptist Church. She was the financial secretary for the church for 21 years.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Snyder Memorial Baptist Church by Dr. David Crocker. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lundy is survived by her husband, Donald W. Lundy of the home; a daughter, Deanne L. Wheeler of Fayetteville; a son, Donald E. Lundy of Fayetteville; three sisters, Mary Bullington and Grace L. Canady, both of Long Beach, and Joan Sessoms of Fayetteville; a brother, Doug Canady of Parkton; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Snyder Memorial Baptist Church Present to the Future Fund, 701 Westmont Drive, Fayetteville, N.C. 28305.

BOLIVIA -- Mrs. Elizabeth H. Anderson, 93, of Brunswick Cove Nursing Center died Tuesday in New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service in Supply by the Revs. Leo Cannon and William Greer. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by a son, James T. Anderson of Beaverdam; three daughters, Betty Young of Sunset Harbor, Jean Sweat of Beaverdam and Nell Holcombe of Holden Beach; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Staton is survived by her husband, William A. Staton Jr. of the home; two daughters, Equilla Luke of San Diego and Jeanie Williams of Fayetteville; three sisters, Mary Moore of Chicago and Martha Irvin and Bessie Stanley, both of Wichita Falls, Texas; and four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Maria is survived by a sister, Ashley T. San Miguel of Fayetteville; a brother, Tyler J. San Miguel of Fayetteville; her maternal grandparents, Ronald and Patricia Evanko of Blairsville, Pa.; her paternal grandparents, Oscar and Stella San Miguel of Spring Lake; her maternal great-grandmother, Pauline Evanko of Indiana, Pa.; and her paternal great-grandfather, Pascual Leija of Los Angeles.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jones of Raeford; three sons, Johnny Jones of Spring Lake, Lee Jones of Wagram and Raymond Jones Jr. of Raeford; five daughters, Mae Blue, Bessie Freeman, Janie Beatty and Rosa McIntosh, all of Raeford, and Queen Jones of Wagram; a sister, Cora B. Purcell of Red Springs; 27 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
