Ms. Bonnie Gail Cox, 53, of 810 Executive Place, Fayetteville, died Friday in Providence Hospital in Columbia, S.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in LaFayette Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Clinton City Cemetery.
Ms. Cox is survived by two sons, James Sumner of Washington, D.C., and William C. Sumner of Cary; her mother, Elizabeth King of Fayetteville; and a sister, Brenda Powell of Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Frances M. Stephens

Mrs. Frances M. Stephens, 88, of 2327 Colgate Drive, Fayetteville, died Wednesday.
Mrs. Stephens was a retired teacher.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Arthur Bowick Funeral Home chapel in Monroe, Ga., by the Rev. Brant Callaway. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by two sons, Jim Stephens of Fayetteville and Roger Stephens of Chester, Va.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Leola Young, 72, of 431 N. King St., Fayetteville, died Wednesday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in First New Light Baptist Church in Bladen County by the Rev. Robert Council. Burial will be in St. Rest Church cemetery in Bladen County.
Mrs. Young is survived by her husband, Bennie Young of the home; four sisters, Maggie Owens of Benson, Robbie Williams and Minnie Monroe, both of White Oak, and Elaine Beaty of Fayetteville; and three brothers, the Rev. Robert Council, John F. Council and Willie E. Council, all of White Oak.
The public will be received today from 1 to 8 p.m. at Wiseman Mortuary.
Alvie W. Boatright

Retired Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Alvie W. Boatright, 75, of Fayetteville died Monday in his home.
Mr. Boatright was in the Air Force for more than 34 years before retiring. He was a veteran of World War II and the Vietnam War. During his career, he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Pope Chapel. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
Mr. Boatright is survived by his wife, Jimmie L. Boatright of the home; two sons, Air Force Col. Rodney L. Boatright of Arlington, Va., and Zane R. Boatright of Midwest City, Okla.; a sister, Geraldine Stanger of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Daisy D. Bagby

Mrs. Daisy D. Bagby, 84, of Carolina Inn, Fayetteville, died Tuesday in Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Bagby was a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Floyd Benfield. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bagby is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Baker of Raleigh; two sons, Charles A. Bagby of Fayetteville and Curt Bagby of High Springs, Fla.; a brother, Ernest E. Denny of Durham; a sister, Margaret Jefferies of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Moody is survived by two daughters, Beatrice Rogers of Minturn, S.C., and Bessie Crawford of Little Rock, S.C.; two sons, Leroy Richardson of McColl, S.C., and Lonnie Moody of Wagram; a sister, Eula Tart of Laurinburg; 48 grandchildren; and 79 great-grandchildren.

DURHAM -- Ms. Emily Zellars McNeill, 94, of Durham, formerly of Laurinburg, died Tuesday.
Ms. McNeill was chairman of the board of trustees for the Laurinburg Library.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Laurinburg Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Nick Mager. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
Ms. McNeill is survived by three daughters, Mary C. Kaufman of Douglas, Wyo., Frances M. Haupt of Dillon, S.C., and Emily M. Sconyers of Durham; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Barbara C. McInnis

SOUTHERN PINES -- Mrs. Barbara Clegg McInnis, 47, of 310 S. Ashe St. died Tuesday in her home.
Mrs. McInnis worked at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst for more than 24 years. She was a flutist with the Moore County and Sandhills bands.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in Our Savior Lutheran Church by Pastors David Keck and Scott Homesley and the Rev. Mike Garber. Arrangements are being handled by Powell Funeral Home and Crematory.
Mrs. McInnis is survived by her husband, the Rev. William S. McInnis; stepdaughter, Melody A. McInnis of Greenville; her parents, Chester G. and Betty G. Clegg of West End; and a brother, Michael Clegg of West End.
