WEST END -- John W. Fox, 84, of 129 Overlook Drive died Sunday in FirstHealth Montgomery Hospital.
Mr. Fox was a Mason.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines by the Rev. Charles Hinson. Arrangements are being handled by Boles Funeral Home.
Mr. Fox is survived by his wife, Jean Fox of Seven Lakes; two sons, John W. Fox Jr. of Stockton, Calif., and William W. Fox of Bloomfield, Mich.; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Maglee M. Chapman

PEMBROKE -- Mrs. Maglee M. Chapman, 72, of 8143 U.S. 74 West died Friday in Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Lumbee Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Crites Oxendine.
Mrs. Chapman is survived by her husband, James B. Chapman Sr. of the home; four sons, Vaughn Chapman of Westfield, Mass., James B. Chapman Jr. of Baltimore, Charles Chapman of Triangle, Va., and John Chapman of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Sheri Hunt of Pembroke; six brothers, Elliot Campbell, Melvin Campbell, David Campbell and Gary Campbell, all of Virginia, Irvin Campbell of California and Eddie Campbell of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.

LILLINGTON -- Timothy Carter, 29, of 1204 N.C. 27 West died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
A private memorial service will be held today in H.M. Colvin Funeral Home in Fayetteville by the Rev. Andrew Bass.
Mr. Carter is survived by his mother, Ann Maynor of Lillington; his father, John W. Jackson of Lillington; a brother, Robert M. Holt of Baltimore; and a sister, Angela Carter of Baltimore.
Ms. Eunice M. Atkinson

HAMPSTEAD -- Ms. Eunice Morris Atkinson of 1523 Corcus Ferry Road, formerly of Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
Ms. Atkinson retired from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was a member of Person Street United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville by the Rev. James D. Bell. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
Ms. Atkinson is survived by three sons, James M. Atkinson Jr. of Maryland, John F. Atkinson of Fayetteville and Henry Atkinson of Hampstead; two brothers, Linwood Morris of Charlotte and Charles Morris of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

CATONSVILLE, Md. -- Ms. Kate Britt Goodman, 89, of Catonsville, formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., died Tuesday.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Presbyterian Church chapel. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Arrangements are being handled by Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
