BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Michael Lennon Stackhouse Green, 36, of Brooklyn, formerly of Fairmont, N.C., died Saturday.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Fairmont by the Rev. Vernon King. Burial will be in the Stackhouse family cemetery in Fairmont. Arrangements are being handled by Community Funeral Home of Fairmont.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Sherri Jacobs of Brooklyn; a son, Jamell Jacobs of Brooklyn; his mother and stepfather, the Rev. Willie B. and Chalmus Hood; his father, Wesley Lennon of Connecticut; his adoptive mother, Laura Green of Brooklyn; four sisters, Roslyn D. Stackhouse and Monica H. Dickens, both of Fairmont, Arienne H. Williams of Charlotte, N.C., and Van Lennon; a brother, Wesley Lennon Jr. of Connecticut; and his maternal grandparents, Willie and Burnell Stackhouse of Fairmont.
The family will receive friends Friday evening at the home of the Rev. Willie B. Hood, White Pond Road, Fairmont, and Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

CHADBOURN -- Mrs. Bernice L. Gore, 75, of 5264 Andrew Jackson Highway died Monday in Columbus County Hospital in Whiteville.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mount Moriah Baptist Church by the Rev. J.R. Matthews. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Memorial Garden. Arrangements are being handled by Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville.
Mrs. Gore is survived by six daughters, Hilda Young and Barbara Moore, both of Chadbourn, Connie Gore of the home, Brenda Gore of Harrisburg, Pa., Sandra McCormick of Raleigh and LaTonya Small of Durham; five sons, Wallace Gore of Whiteville, Oneal Gore of Chadbourn, Archie Gore of Wilmington, Herbert Gore of Harrisburg and Roy Gore of Queens, N.Y.; and three brothers, Johnnie Lewis and Andrew Lewis, both of Philadelphia, and Archie Lewis Jr. of Mount Clemens, Mich.

CLARKTON -- Mrs. Eloise G. Frink, 75, of 982 Mount Calvary Road died Monday in Cape Fear Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olive Baptist Church in Whiteville. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville.
Mrs. Frink is survived by two daughters, Cargenia Frink of Jersey City, N.J., and Rowena Johnson of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; six sons, Major Graham, Ralph Frink, Morris Frink and Thurston Frink, all of Jersey City, and Charles Frink and Frederick Frink, both of Whiteville; and two sisters, Laddean Graham of Clarkton and Barbara Griffin of Baltimore.

Mrs. Brenda Haire Floyd, 51, of Fayetteville died Monday.
Mrs. Floyd was a homemaker.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Wallace, S.C. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by her husband, Donald L. Floyd Sr. of the home; two sons, Donald L. Floyd Jr. of Fayetteville and William J. Floyd of Rockingham; her mother, Mary T. Haire of Wallace; three brothers, Alton J. Haire Jr. of Laurinburg and Albert A. Haire and Richard D. Haire, both of Wallace; two sisters, Sylvia H. McLendon and Mary E. Johnson of Wallace; and four grandchildren.

WAGRAM -- John Evans, 81, of 23801 Riverton Road died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Spring Branch Baptist Church by the Rev. Latez Jones. Burial with military honors will be in Nashville Church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Morris Funeral Home.
Mr. Evans is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Hardison of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sons, Eugene Evans of Georgia and Kevin Evans of Wagram; and a sister, Addie Dupree of Fayetteville.

FAIRMONT -- David Epps, 64, of 1756 N.C. 904 East died Monday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Floyd Memorial Chapel by the Revs. Terry Oxendine and Kenny Mitchell. Burial will be in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Epps is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee C. Epps of the home; three sons, David W. Epps of Lake Placid, Fla., Larry Epps of Fairmont and Tony Butler of Dillon, S.C.; three daughters, Patricia A. Hammonds of Fairmont and Judy Barrera and Clarice Fuentes, both of Lake Placid; three brothers, Stanton Strickland of Rowland, Hubert Hunt of Fairmont and P.M. Chavis of Pembroke; two sisters, Corina Chavis of Rowland and Carrie Mae Green of Chadbourn; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

SOUTHERN PINES -- John S. Dee, 60, of Southern Pines died Monday.
Mr. Dee was a Mason.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. today in Powell Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Archie Stevens.
Mr. Dee is survived by his wife, Peggy Dee of Southern Pines; two sons, John Stevens of Charlotte and Casey Stevens of Erie, Pa.; and two grandchildren.

Lola M. Coleman (Dated Wednesday, November 10, 1999 )
SPRING LAKE -- Mrs. Lola Maxine Coleman, 66, of 7770 Overhills Road died Monday in Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg.
Mrs. Coleman was a homemaker. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Liberty Baptist Church by the Rev. Sam Harvin. Arrangements are being handled by Adcock Funeral Home.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband, John C. Coleman of Spring Lake; a daughter, Lorene Wagner of Mason, Texas; two sons, George Coleman of San Angelo, Texas, and John Coleman of Llano, Texas; a sister, Mary Ellen Pennay of Towanda, Pa.; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Burke was a former agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was a former bank vice president.

Mr. Burke is survived by his wife, Idamae M. Burke of Sanford; a daughter, Lynda B. Schilderink of Cincinnati; two sons, Denis Burke of Cary and Terence Burke of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Dorothy Biggins of Sharpsville, Pa.; a brother, Bill Burke of Kansas; and 12 grandchildren.

Mrs. Beasley is survived by her husband, James A. Beasley Sr. of Georgetown; three sons, James A. Beasley Jr. of South Carolina, Charles D. Beasley of Texas and Scott A. Beasley of Oklahoma; a daughter, Ruth A. Thomas of New Salisbury; a sister, Edith R. Bell of Florida; and 11 grandchildren.
