Mrs. Grace T. Antonelli, 64, of Fayetteville died Sunday.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Main Post Chapel on Fort Bragg by Father Kita. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. Arrangements are being handled by LaFayette Funeral Home.

Mrs. Antonelli is survived by her husband, Stephen Antonelli of the home; two sons, Stephen Antonelli of Texas and Christopher Antonelli of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Bernice Antonelli and Diana Arcand, both of Fayetteville, and Angela Antonelli of Virginia; two sisters, Adella Collins of Washington and Norma Tyler of New York; and nine grandchildren.

Doris G. Adams (Dated Wednesday, November 10, 1999 )

WILSON -- Mrs. Doris Gibson Adams, 83, of Wilson, formerly of Laurinburg, died Monday in N.C. Special Care Center.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hillside Cemetery by the Rev. James F. Thompson.

Mrs. Adams is survived by a daughter, Marilyn McVicker of Laurinburg; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at McDougald Funeral Home & Crematorium in Laurinburg.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 101 W. Church St., Laurinburg, N.C. 28352; or to the Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina, P.O. Box 127, Lake Waccamaw, N.C. 28450.

Robert L. Willis Jr. (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

GREENSBORO -- Robert Lee Willis Jr., 43, of Greensboro, formerly of Fayetteville, died Sunday.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in United Pentecostals Church. Arrangements are being handled by Hargett Funeral Service.

Mr. Willis is survived by his wife, Peggy S. Willis; two sons, Matthew R. Willis and David A. Willis; his mother, Fannie L. Willis of Fayetteville; a brother, Michael Willis of Greensboro; and a sister, Carol W. Echols of Houston.

Emily M. Williams (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

BURLINGTON -- Ms. Emily Carolyn Moose Williams, 77, of 118 S. Main St. died Tuesday in Alamance Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Lowe Funeral Home chapel by the Revs. Carson Wiggins and A.C. Edens.

Among Ms. Matthews’ survivors is a sister, Frances M. Edens of Fayetteville.

Geneva G. Williamson (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

ROBBINS -- Ms. Geneva Garner Williamson, 73, of 1339 Howard Mill Road died Tuesday in Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Ms. Williamson was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Riverside Baptist Church by the Revs. Harold Baker and Hayes Ritter. Burial will be in Smyrna United Methodist Church cemetery.

Ms. Williamson is survived by two sisters, Ruth P. Welch of Robbins and Myrtle G. Freeman of Star; and three brothers, Boyce W. Garner and William B. Garner, both of Burlington, and Lewis Garner of Hillsborough.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Nancy Brown, 144 Welch Lane, Robbins.

John W. Williams (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- John Willie Williams, 62, of Little Rock, formerly of Laurinburg, N.C., died Sunday.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Reedy Creek Church cemetery in Laurinburg by the Rev. Anderson Barnes. Arrangements are being handled by Morris Funeral Home.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Louise T. Williams of Laurinburg; five sons, Eddie Williams of Washington, D.C., John Willie Williams, Robert Williams, James Williams and John W. Williams, all of Laurinburg; two daughters, Lucille Williams of Laurinburg and Mary Bittle of Laurinburg; a sister, Flora M. Leach of Laurinburg; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the home of Louise T. Williams, 1012 Salem St., Laurinburg.

Harold A. Smith (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

Harold A. Smith of Fayetteville died Wednesday in his home.

Arrangements will be announced by Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

James T. ‘Jim’ Rose (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

COATS -- James Terry ‘‘Jim’’ Rose, 57, of 530 Festus Road died Tuesday.

Mr. Rose was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Jim Palmer Trucking Co. and a member of Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Ennis family cemetery by the Rev. Bobby Caudle.

Mr. Rose is survived by his wife, Josephine E. Rose; and a stepson, Larry Rose of Fuquay-Varina.

The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 t0 10:30 a.m. at Rose & Graham Funeral Home.

Andrew ‘Clyde’ Roberts (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

COATS -- Andrew ‘’Clyde’’ Roberts, 55, of 96 B.J. Norris Lane died Saturday in his home.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dafford Funeral Home chapel in Dunn by Bishop Brenda Johnson. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Church cemetery in Erwin.

Mr. Roberts is survived by a daughter, Lisa Freeman of Erwin; two sisters, Bessie L. McLean of Fayetteville and Esther Bailey of Erwin; three brothers, Raymond Roberts and James F. Roberts, both of Erwin, and Henry Roberts of Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

The public will be received Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Esther Bailey, 107 Porter Drive, Erwin.

Lena R. Parker (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

BENSON -- Mrs. Lena R. Parker, 74, of 734 Mamie Road died Wednesday in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

Mrs. Parker was a member of Holly Grove Advent Christian Church. She was a homemaker.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Holly Grove Advent Christian Church by the Revs. Ronnie LaFevers and Edward Adams. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Parker is survived by a daughter, Debbie P. Kiederling of Cary; three sons, Samuel D. Parker, Jerry I. Parker and Alfred F. Parker, all of Benson; two sisters, Lola Beasley of Erwin and Frances Adams of Benson; a brother, Charles ‘‘Josh’’ Ryals of Angier; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rose & Graham Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Jerry and Cindy Parker, 2162 Holly Grove Road.

Archie ‘Rudy’ Outland (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

Archie ‘‘Rudy’’ Outland, 69, of 1915 Lyon Road, Fayetteville, died Tuesday in his home.

Mr. Outland was an Air Force veteran. He worked for Sprint-Carolina Telephone before retiring.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home by the Rev. Sandy Saunders. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.

Mr. Outland is survived by his wife, Barbara E. Outland of Fayetteville; a son, Archie Outland Jr. of Fayetteville; two daughters, Marilyn R. Schwartz of Washington, D.C., and Jennifer O. Endracke of Fayetteville; a sister, Peggy O. Lowe of Ahoskie; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

James ‘Alf’ Oates (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

ROSE HILL -- James ‘‘Alf’’ Oates, 49, of 561 Kader Merritt Road died Sunday in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Elder Marcus O. Becton will conduct the funeral at 1 p.m. Friday in Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Herring family cemetery.

Mr. Oates is survived by a daughter, Annettte McCandies of Winston-Salem; a son, Alfred A. McCandies of Winston-Salem; his father, Admiral Oates of Clinton; two sisters, Helena Jefferson of Hampton, Va., and Myrtle Oates-Lenier of Goldsboro; two brothers, Willie Oates of Philadelphia and Larry D. Oates of Boston; and three grandchildren.

The public will be received today from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gordon G. Nowell (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

SANFORD -- Gordon Gavin Nowell, 81, of 711 Lawrence St. died Wednesday in his home.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Rogers Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Tom Loftis. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.

Mr. Nowell is survived by his wife, Hattie G. Gordon of Sanford; a son, Gordon C. Nowell of Sanford; and two sisters, Pauline Moore of Grafton, Va., and Ruby Statler of Burlington.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Rogers-Pickard Funeral Home.

Oscar C. Musselwhite (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

LUMBERTON -- Oscar Craven Musselwhite, 85, of Hermitage Retirement Center died Wednesday.

Arrangements will be announced by Biggs Funeral Home.

Bennie Moore (Dated Thursday, October 21, 1999 )

LILLINGTON -- Bennie Moore, 72, of Lillington died Sunday in Harnett Manor Nursing Home.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Mount Olive United Methodist Church by the Rev. Johnnie Wright. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Moore is survived by two daughters, Kathie Bailey and Mary L. McNeill, both of Dunn; five sisters, Betty Moore, Lorean Moore, Janie McKoy and Novella McLean, all of Lillington, and Alice Robinson of Chesapeake, Va.; and a brother, Otis Moore of Lillington.

The public will be received today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Dafford Funeral Home in Dunn.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
