Mr. Langston worked for CSX Railroad for 37 years before retiring.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in LaFayette Memorial Park by the Rev. David Crumpler.
Mr. Langston is survived by his wife, Gloria Langston of the home; a daughter, Angela Langston of the home; three sons, Gregory Langston of Dallas, Chris Langston of Winnsboro, Texas, and Timothy Langston of Fayetteville; two sisters, Sybil Waddell of Rocky Mount and Elsie Crawford of Kenley; a brother, Bobby Langston of Wilson; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

ABERDEEN -- Ms. Dicie Walker Kennedy, 90, of Aberdeen died Friday in Carolina House in Pinehurst.
Ms. Kennedy worked for JP Stevens before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Beulah Hill Baptist Church in Pinehurst by the Rev. Archie Stevens. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church cemetery in Robbins.
Ms. Kennedy is survived by a brother, Fred Walker of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.

SANFORD -- Martin G. Kelly, 77, of 1508 Phillips Drive died Friday in Central Carolina Hospital.
Mr. Kelly was a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Kelly is survived by Sandra Roesing; two daughters, Kathleen K. Lynch of Ramsey, N.J., and Patricia K. Clarke of Sanford; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Ronald T. Kalb, 35, of Fayetteville died Thursday in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Mr. Kalb was a self-employed brick mason for 17 years.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Cape Fear Baptist Church by the Revs. Richard Hunk and Ken Pitchard. Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are being handled by LaFayette Funeral Home.
Mr. Kalb is survived by his wife, Darlene W. Kalb of Fayetteville; a daughter, Cierra Kalb of Statesville; his father, Donald T. Kalb of Fayetteville; his stepfather, James E. Bledsole of Hope Mills; a brother, Mitchell Kalb of Fayetteville; and a sister, Donna Brumson of Fayetteville.

PEMBROKE -- Belton Jacobs, 78, of Pembroke died Friday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
Mr. Jacobs was a retired farmer.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Oak Grove Holiness Church by the Revs. Grover Oxendine, Claymon Tyler and Timmie Hunt. Burial will be in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Jacobs is survived by three sons, Belton Jacobs Jr. and Jimmy R. Jacobs, both of Pembroke, and Roger Jacobs of Maxton; eight daughters, Tressie Jacobs and Berneice Jacobs, both of Lumberton, Geneva Locklear, Judy Jones, Annie M. Locklear, Linda Jacobs and Ilene Jacobs, all of Pembroke, and Brenda Barton of Red Springs; 34 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Carroll is survived by a daughter, Betty Malkinski of Columbus; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

BUIES CREEK -- W. Eldridge Boykin, 88, of Buies Creek died Friday in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Mr. Boykin was a soil conservationist for the United States Department of Agriculture for 30 years before retiring.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Harnett Memorial Park by the Rev. Bill Williams.
Mr. Boykin is survived by his wife, Mary L. Boykin of the home; two sons, Richard E. Boykin of Reno, Nev., and James T. Boykin of Marietta, Ga.; a sister, Ida B. Boulware of Virginia; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at O’Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home in Lillington.
