LUMBERTON -- Ms. Estelle Cashwell Overton, 79, of 1555 Willis Ave. died Tuesday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Parkton Cemetery.
Ms. Overton is survived by a son, Billy S. Cashwell of Fayetteville; two brothers, Donald Smith of Lumberton and James R. Smith of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Catherine Black of Lumberton and Mary Steel of Graham; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory.
K.C. Morgan

LUMBERTON -- K.C. Morgan, 89, of 518 E. 20th St. died Wednesday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Morgan worked for the N.C. Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator for 30 years before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in East Lumberton Baptist Church by the Rev. LeRoy Burke. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Rita D. Morgan of the home; two sons, Elston R. Morgan of Lumberton and Wayland K. Morgan of Albemarle; three sisters, Bertha Carroll of Fayetteville, Gladys Johnson of Rockingham and Nina B. Hall of Moultrie, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory.
Jesse J. Mitchell

KELLY -- Jesse J. Mitchell, 75, of 1342 Overlyon Road died Saturday in his home.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Carter Funeral Home by the Rev. James Knox. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Mitchell is survived by a sister, Elouise Haskin of Virginia Beach, Va.; and a brother, Claude Mitchell of New York.
The public will be received today from 1 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Robert B. Melby Sr.

SANFORD -- Robert Bjurn Melby Sr., 70, of 904 Lanier Farm Road died Wednesday in Central Carolina Hospital.
Mr. Melby was a Marine veteran.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in East Sanford Baptist Church by the Rev. Mark Walton. Burial will be in Broadway Town Cemetery.
Mr. Melby is survived by his wife, Vera G. Melby; five sons, Robert Melby Jr., James K. Melby and Nils D. Melby, all of Sanford, Charles T. Melby of Siler City and Donald B. Melby of Salter Path; two daughters, Kimberly M. Heath of Walstonburg and Bert M. Holt of Sanford; a brother, Peter N. Melby of Minnesota; a sister, Eileen Rogers of Elk River, Minn.; and 17 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Bert Holt, 863 Cox Maddox Road.
Memorials may be made to Cancer Research.
Albert McKeithan

Albert McKeithan, 74, of 824 Amyest, Fayetteville, died Monday in his home.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in H.M. Colvin Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. James McGrady Jr. Burial will be in Cumberland Union.
Mr. McKeithan is survived by three sons, Robert E. McBryde of Erwin and James C. McBryde and Carl D. McBryde, both of Fayetteville; three daughters, Cathy McBryde, Janet McBryde and Geraldine McBryde, all of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The public will be received today from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

HOPE MILLS -- Harvey Stevenson Kinlaw, 69, of 5523 Cross St. died Tuesday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Mr. Kinlaw was an artistic sign painter.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Hamilton-Porter Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Jay Winston. Burial will be in Adcock Cemetery.
Mr. Kinlaw is survived by his wife, Hilda W. Kinlaw of the home; a daughter, Susan Shumaker of Coats; a son, Steve Kinlaw of Kissimmee, Fla.; three sisters, Dorothy McLean of Fayetteville, Margaret Murphy of Winnsboro, Texas, and Mildred Autten of Alexandria, Va.; and two grandchildren.

John H. Kelley

HOPE MILLS -- John Humphrey Kelley, 79, of 5814 Richfield Ave. died Monday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Mr. Kelley was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today in LaFayette Memorial Park West. Arrangements are being handled by Cape Fear Crematory of Fayetteville.
Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife, Margaret Kelley of Hope Mills; two sons, John W. Kelley of Vass and James E. Kelley of Hope Mills; a daughter, Patricia A. Gusmano of Hope Mills; two sisters, Irene C. Alphonso and Ruth Baldwin, both of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; a brother, Marvin Wilkinson of Poughkeepsie; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
