CLINTON -- Miss Rebecca Dianne Tyndall, 18, of 610 Tyndall Grove Road died Sunday.
Miss Tyndall was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a 1999 graduate of Union High School. Miss Tyndall was a waitress at Pearl’s Restaurant in Garland.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. today in Royal-Hall Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Allen Overton. Burial will be in the Tyndall-Spell Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
Miss Tyndall is survived by her mother, Sharon S. Tyndall of Clinton; a brother, David W. Tyndall Jr. of Clinton; her maternal grandparents, Harold A. and Zoa M. Starnes of Clinton; and her paternal grandparents, Stephen and Daisy Tyndall of Clinton.
Ada C. Fletcher

CARTHAGE -- Mrs. Ada Cole Fletcher, 99, of Carthage died Sunday in Heritage Care of Seven Lakes.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Augustine AME Zion Church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Fry-Prickett Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by a son, Julius ‘‘Tom’’ Cole of Carthage.
Gwendolyn A. Williams

SALEMBURG -- Mrs. Gwendolyn A. Williams, 50, of Salemburg died Monday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Butler & Son Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. John Troy. Burial will be in Bearskin Cemetery in Clinton.
Mrs. Williams is survived by two sons, Donald Williams and Anthony L. Williams, both of Salemburg; a sister, Beatrice McLymore of Fayetteville; two brothers, Frank Arnette and James Arnette, both of Salemburg; and three grandchildren.
The public will be received today from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Gladys G. Webb

WHITEVILLE -- Mrs. Gladys Ione Ginn Webb, 83, of Whiteville died Tuesday in Shoreland Health Care.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Evergreen Memorial Park in Sumter, S.C. by Dr. Kirk Smith. Arrangements are being handled by McKenzie Mortuary.
Mrs. Webb is survived by a son, Granville L. Webb of Poquoson, Va.; a daughter, Wanda W. Schrader of Raleigh; a sister, Jackie G. Holley of Knoxville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elmore Hill-McCreight Funeral Home in Sumter.
Henry E. Thompson Sr.

LUMBERTON -- Henry Edward Thompson Sr., 75, of 401 Kensington St. died Tuesday.
Mr. Thompson was a member of First Baptist Church, St. Alban’s Lodge No. 114, Order of Eastern Star and was a Past Worthy Matron and a Shriner. He received the John Stickley Fellowship Award for Humanitarian Services.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Floyd Memorial Chapel by Dr. William Tuck and the Rev. Joe Bounds. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Eunice Thompson of the home; a son, Henry E. Thompson Jr. of Dallas; a daughter, Debra T. Stuckley of Lumberton; two brothers, Lester H. Thompson of Lumberton and James M. Thompson of Durham; four sisters, Sadie Davis, Joyce Rice and Sarah Kaukola, all of Lumberton, and Violet Crawford of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory and at other times at the home.

Mrs. Betty Thomas, 60, of 1836 Cascade St., Fayetteville, died Monday in her home.

Wilkerson of Fayetteville; four sisters, Elaine Evans, Dovie Hall, Annette Wynkoop and Patricia Lane, all of Fayetteville; three brothers, Lonnie Wilkerson of Chicago and Everette D. GOLDSBORO -- Harry Gentry Davis Sr., 81, of 506 Quail Drive died Monday in Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in St. Luke United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles D. Moseley. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Among Mr. Davis’ survivors are three brothers, Bob Davis of Laurinburg and Calvin Davis and John Davis, both of Red Springs; and two sisters, Molly Smith of Rowland and Anne Hasty of Fayetteville.

Mr. Spell is survived by a son, Hosea R. Jones of Fayetteville; his mother, Perry L. Spell of Fayetteville; four sisters, Lois Melvin, Magaline Murphy and Helen Nelson, all of Fayetteville, and Eula Smith of Stedman; and four brothers, Tero Kirk, Otis Spell and Thomas Spell, all of Stedman, and Stanley Spell of Fayetteville.

Mrs. Pena is survived by her husband, Raymond Pena of New Jersey; a son, Ray Pena of New Jersey; two daughters, Amanda Pena and Samantha Pena, both of New Jersey; her parents, Charles and Debra Conley of Spring Lake; a sister, Carla Conley of Spring Lake; a brother, Daniel Conley of Spring Lake; and her grandparents, Michael and Maxine Fowler of Mountain City, Tenn.

Mr. Parsons was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a director of public utilities for the city of Clinton before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Hugh Cameron. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
Mr. Parsons is survived by a son, W. Douglas Parsons of Clinton; and a daughter, Jo Lee Parsons of Charlotte.
