WHITE LAKE -- Miss Erica Nichole Carroll, 18, of 33 Monmonth Drive died Sunday.

Miss Carroll was a member of Clinton Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a 1999 Clinton High School graduate.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Clinton Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Revs. David Wheeler, Michael Shook and Mark Fields. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park in Clinton.

Miss Carroll is survived by her parents, Krista C. Goodman of White Lake and C.L. Thomas Carroll III of Rocky Mount; a brother, Nicholas Carroll of White Lake; a half sister, Susan M. Carroll of Wilmington; a half brother, Adam Goodman of Salemburg; a stepsister, Lindsay D. Ennis of Rocky Mount; her maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Faye Cooper of Clinton; and her paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Carroll of Dublin.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Royal-Hall Funeral Home in Clinton.

Memorials may be made to Students Against Drunk Driving.

Robert C. Voight

HOPE MILLS -- Robert Carl Voight, 50, of 6029 Lexington Drive died Saturday in Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

Mr. Voight worked at Black & Decker. He was a volunteer fireman at Stoney Point Fire Department for five years.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Cumberland Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Thomas N. White. Arrangements are being handled by Reeves Funeral Home.

Mr. Voight is survived by his wife, Ruth Voight; a son, Charles Curfman of Leesville, La.; and a grandson.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cumberland County Unit, P.O. Box 35752, Fayetteville, N.C. 28303-0752.

Claude G. Atkins
(Dated Tuesday, November 16, 1999)
WARSAW -- Claude Glenn Atkins, 58, of 109 N. Frisco St. died Sunday in his home.

Arrangements will be announced by Royal-Hall Funeral Home of Clinton.

J. Paul Ford

J. Paul Ford, 42, of 342 N. Plymouth St., Fayetteville, died Sunday in his home.

Mr. Ford was a plumber.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Spring Lake.

Mr. Ford is survived by his wife, Lisa C. Ford of Fayetteville; two sons, William P. Ford and J. Billy Ford II, both of Fayetteville; his mother, Lieselotte Ford of Wurzburg, Germany; his father, J. Billy Ford of Hampstead; and a sister, Cindy A. Morris of Jacksonville.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Adcock Funeral Home in Spring Lake.

Margaret F. Haught

ASHLAND, Ohio -- Mrs. Margaret J. Faircloth Haught, 67, of E. 10th St., formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., died Monday in Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Heyl Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul Tracy. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park.

Mrs. Haught is survived by her husband, Charm Haught; two daughters, Glenda Haught and Donna Taylor; two sons, Donald Haught and John D. Haught; a brother, Perdie Faircloth of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren.

Margaret E. ‘Peg’ Smith

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth “Peg” Smith, 93, of Fayetteville died Sunday in Village Green Nursing Home.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel by Father Joseph Yaeger. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Chicopee, Mass.

Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Judith S. Ryder of Fayetteville; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Church, Long Meadow, Mass.; or to Village Green Nursing Home, 1601 Purdue Drive, Fayetteville, N.C. 28304.

Tondiana A. Carter

Miss Tondiana Anche Carter, infant daughter of Tracy and Shinia Carter, of 774 Chevy Chase St., Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rockfish Memorial Park by the Rev. Henry Morrison. Arrangements are being handled by Wiseman Mortuary.

In addition to her parents, Tondiana is also survived by a sister, Tracieana Carter of the home; her paternal grandfather, Frank McKoy of Eastover; her paternal grandparents, Bruce and Gloria Simms of Fayetteville; her maternal grandparents, James and Shirley Shaw of Fayetteville; and her paternal great-grandfather, Frank Herring of Vander.

The family will receive friends at the home.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by two sons, James Mitchell and Casey Mitchell, both of Fairmont; his mother and stepfather, Kathy M. and Murdie McDuffie of Fairmont; his father, James L. Williams of Lumberton; two sisters, Natasha M. Cromartie and Sarah Cromartie, both of Fairmont; and a brother, Craig Mitchell of Fairmont.
