FOUR OAKS -- Miss Bernice Lee, 84, of 1641 Juniper Road died Sunday.

Miss Lee was an educator for 42 years before retiring.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in Blackman’s Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Roger Carlson. Burial will be in Juniper Church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by West & Dunn Funeral Home.

Miss Lee is survived by three sisters, Lois R. Lee of Four Oaks and Dorothy L. Nelson of Durham and Catherine L. Bass of Four Oaks; and a brother, Cyrus G. Lee of Panama City, Fla.

The family will receive friends at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Juniper Church cemetery trust, care of Sue Dodd, 385 Dodd-McLamb Road, Four Oaks; or to Blackman’s Grove Church building fund, care of J.W. Johnson, 2446 Thompson Road, Four Oaks, N.C.

Roberta Leak

RED SPRINGS -- Ms. Roberta Leak of 1011 W. Second Ave. died Sunday in Autumn Care of Raeford.

Arrangements will be announced by L.E. Floyd Funeral Home.Willie LambertMAXTON -- Willie Lambert, 79, of 4680 Preston Road died Monday.

Arrangements will be announced by Thompson’s Funeral Home of Pembroke.

Anthony J. Inderlin

CLARKTON -- Anthony Joseph Inderlin, 69, of 8433 Red Hill Road died Sunday in his home.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home chapel in Bladenboro. Burial will be in Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Mr. Inderlin is survived by his wife, Frances Inderlin of the home; two daughters, Mary Russ of Bladenboro and Toni Inderlin of the home; a brother, Joseph Inderlin of Warwick, R.I.; a sister, Virginia Littlefield of Providence, R.I.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Dalma R. Honeycutt
(Dated Tuesday, December 21, 1999)
NEW WINDSOR, Md. -- Dalma Ray Honeycutt, 66, of New Windsor, formerly of Salemburg, N.C., died Saturday in his home.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Arrangements are being handled by Butler Funeral Home.

Mr. Honeycutt is survived by a sister, Faye Narris of Louisiana; and three brothers, C.L. Honeycutt, Glerand Honeycutt and Brewer Honeycutt, all of Salemburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carroll Hospice, 95 Carroll St., Westminister, Md. 21157.

Alice F. Farrell
(Dated Tuesday, December 21, 1999)
ABERDEEN -- Ms. Alice Janette Ferree Farrell, 87, of Pinehurst Nursing Center died Monday.

Ms. Farrell was a member of Page Memorial United Methodist Church. She was the owner and operator of Carolina Beauty Shop for 29 years.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Page Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.

Ms. Farrell is survived by a son, Robert A. Farrell of Aberdeen; two daughters, Janet F. Smith of Melbourne, Fla., and Betsy F. Ingram of Aberdeen; six grandchildren; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Page Memorial United Methodist Church Good Samaritan Fund, P.O. Box 695, Aberdeen, N.C. 28315.

Helen Evans

BURLINGTON -- Mrs. Helen Evans of Burlington, formerly of Fayetteville, died Sunday.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Spring Dale AME Church. Arrangements are being handled by Springdale Funeral Home. Announcement made by Paye Funeral Home & Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Evans is survived by a sister, Lula Evans of New York; and five brothers James Evans, Joseph Evans and Samuel Evans, all of Fayetteville, and Anthony Evans and Ben Evans, both of Baltimore.

Edwin F. Davis

Edwin Foote Davis, 80, of Fayetteville died Monday in Resthaven Nursing Center.

Jennings M. Davis

Jennings Maxmillian Davis, 84, of Fayetteville died Monday in Highland House Nursing Home.

Arrangements will be announced by Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.

Thessie D. Daniel

DUNN -- Mrs. Thessie Denning Daniel, 81, of 99 Melvin Daniel Lane died Monday in Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Mrs. Daniel was a homemaker and a seamstress at Campbell University in Buies Creek before retiring. She was a member of Coats Baptist Church. She was an art student.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Coats Baptist Church in Coats by the Revs. Jesse Mooney and A. Howard Beard. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier.

Mrs. Daniel is survived by two daughters, Jeanette D. Johnson and Lynda D. Butler, both of Coats; two sons, Dorsey Daniel of Coats and Richard Daniel of Morehead, Ky.; two brothers, Lamas Denning of Benson and Junius Denning of Angier; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.

Gladys S. Causey

SANFORD -- Ms. Gladys Stewart Causey, 73, of 404 Bragg St. died Monday in Central Carolina Hospital.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Rogers-Pickard Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. George Akers. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.

Ms. Causey is survived by two daughters, Teresa Causey and Vicky Oakley, both of Sanford; four sons, Randy Causey, Richard ‘‘Ricky’’ Causey and Larry Causey, all of Sanford, and Tim Causey of Minneapolis; four sisters, Margaret Stancil of Smithfield, Ellen Hamilton of Erwin, Estelle Walden of Fayetteville and Ruth Kelly of Concord; two half brothers, Zeke Stewart and Dugal Stewart, both of Erwin; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Tommy L. Clegg

SANFORD -- Tommy Leverne Clegg, 25, of 403 Crestview St. died Saturday in Central Carolina Hospital.

Mr. Clegg is survived by a son, DeVonta McCutchen of Sanford; his parents, Gladys A. Clegg and Royal M. Swann, both of Sanford; two sisters, Tanisha Clegg and Angela P. Gill, both of Sanford; three brothers, Royal G. Swann, Patrick Clegg and Rodney Clegg, all of Sanford; his maternal grandfather, Walter L. McCormick of Baltimore; and his maternal great-grandparents, Lillie M. McCormick of Sanford.

Mrs. Carter is survived by a son, David M. ‘‘Butch’’ Carter III of High Point; a daughter, Pam C. Aldridge of Durham; two sisters, Edna Stephens of Clarendon and Hazel Roudabush of Wilmington; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Carlisle, both of Autryville; and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Prospect United Methodist Church by the Revs. Bill J. Locklear, Eugene Chavis and Gilbert Walker. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Thompson’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bullard is survived by six sons, James Bullard Jr., Jack Bullard and Phillip Bullard, all of Pembroke, and Robert Bullard, Delton Bullard and Ronald Bullard, all of Maxton; five daughters, Patricia A. Locklear, Pamela Oxendine, Ellen Locklear, Suzzette Dial and Jean Brewer, all of Maxton; four sisters, Lorrine Chavis, Sue Locklear and Mary Hunt, all of Maxton, and Louise Dobbs of Atlanta; a brother, Carl Locklear of Pembroke; 30 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight beginning at 7 at the church.
