LUMBERTON -- Mrs. Louise Worley Stone, 89, of 2701 Riverwood Ave. died Friday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Stone was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Floyd Memorial Chapel by the Revs. Craig Long, A.G. Sutton and Tony Stevens. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
Mrs. Stone is survived by a son, Robert C. Stone Sr. of Lumberton; a sister, Dessie Sutton of Burlington; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory.
Ida S. Howard

HAMPTON, Va. -- Mrs. Ida Stone Howard, of Hampton, formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., died Wednesday.
Mrs. Howard was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville. She was a retired nurse.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville by the Revs. Ian Rankin and Earl Vaughan. Burial will be LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Arrangements are being handled by Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home.
Mrs. Howard is survived by two daughters, Gayle H. Mayfield of Little River, S.C., and Nancy Davenport-Ennis of Hampton; a brother, David Stone of Fayetteville; two sisters, Elsie S. Bell and Katherine Horton, both of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

Beatrice Brinkley

CAMERON -- Mrs. Beatrice Brinkley, 92, of 85 Brinkley Lane died Thursday in Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bethel AME Zion Church by the Rev. Chalmers McDonald. Burial will be in McLean Cemetery.
Mrs. Brinkley is survived by a daughter, Betty B. McMillan of Cameron; two sons, Willie C. Brinkley and Linwood Brinkley, both of Cameron; a sister, Athena Belton of Spring Lake; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Paye Funeral Home & Memorial Chapel in Fayetteville.

PHILADELPHIA -- Ronald Pearson, 53, of Philadelphia, formerly of Clinton, N.C., died Sunday in his home.
Elder Marcus Becton will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. today in Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home chapel in Clinton. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Church cemetery.
Mr. Pearson is survived by a daughter, Racquel Pearson of the home; two sons, Ronald K. Pearson and Richard Pearson, both of Philadelphia; his mother, Laura Pearson of Philadelphia; his father, Leo F. Pearson of Arlington, Va.; and four grandchildren.
The public will be received today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Betty A. Monroe

ELIZABETHTOWN -- Mrs. Betty Ann Monroe, 52, of 3479 Mercer Mill Road died Thursday in Bladen County Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in New Hope Baptist Church in Clarkton by the Rev, G.F. Pone. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Monroe is survived by her husband, Leonard Monroe of the home; a son, Marcus A. Monroe of the home; a daughter, Maryoka L. Monroe of the home; her parents, Roland and Marie Smith of Clarkton; three brothers, Roland Smith Jr. and Carl Smith, both of Elizabethtown, and Keith Smith of Clarkton; and two sisters, Angie S. McKoy of New York and Janice Smith of Clarkton.
The public will be received today from 1 to 6:30 p.m. at F.W. Newton & Sons Mortuary.
A wake will be held tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. McMillan is survived by his wife, Vivian H. Gaddy of Tar Heel; three sisters, Rosa Williams of Tar Heel, Lariece Lane of Fayetteville and Jackie Gaddy of Wilmington; four brothers, Donnell Gaddy of Fayetteville, James E. Ms. Locklear is survived by a son, Eric Lowery of the home; three daughters, Angela Lowery of Red Springs, Sophia Lowery of the home and Linne Lowery of Pembroke; three sisters, Bessie Hunt and Clementine L. Jones, both of Pembroke, and Imogene Lowry of Rowland; a stepsister, Dora F. Lowery of Lumberton; a brother, James E. ‘‘Bobby’’ Locklear; and nine grandchildren.

LUMBERTON -- The Rev. Earl Ray Lee, 69, of National Avenue died Friday in his home.
The Rev. Lee was a member and pastor of Cannan Full Gospel Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Cannan Full Gospel Church by the Revs. Tommy Lewis, Bobby West and Johnny Walters. Burial will be in Parkton Cemetery in Parkton.
The Rev. Lee is survived by his wife, Doris M. Lee of the home; six sons, Johnny Lee, Allen Lee, Tommy Lee, Tony Lee and Wayne Lee, all of Lumberton, and Charles W. Ivey of Hope Mills; two daughters, Deffie Bridgeman and Wanda Rogers, both of Lumberton; a brother, Julius Lee of Lumberton; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Chadwell and Cora L. Stokes, both of Tennessee, and Callie M. Issacs of Berea, Ky.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
