Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Patricia C. Gray; a daughter, Sandy Gray of Johnsonville; a son, Wesley Gray of Sanford; two brothers, Billy R. Gray of Sanford and George H. Gray of Raleigh; six sisters, M.G. Hardy of Winter Haven, Fla., Mary Carter of Garner, Linda Hart of Rocky Mount, Brenda Wickler of Wake Forest, Patsy Gray of Angier and Carol Harmon of Portsmouth, Va.; and a grandchild.

FAIRMONT -- Ms. Lytres McQueen McMillian, 72, of 116 Griffin St. died Saturday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Ms. McMillian is survived by six daughters, Shelia McMillian of the home, Sue Floyd, Bernice Ford, Charlene Townsend and Merrian McMillian, all of Fairmont, and Joyce Meekins of Rowland; four sons, Charles McMillian and Angelo McMillian, both of Fairmont, Bobby McMillian of Lumberton and Maurice McMillian of Fayetteville; a brother, Eston L. McQueen of the home; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Roger H. Phillips Sr.

CLINTON -- Roger Hyden Phillips Sr., 88, of 215 Hamilton Drive died Sunday.
Mr. Phillips was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Royal-Hall Funeral Home chapel by Dr. David Kolb and the Rev. Patrick Winkler. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Horeb Church cemetery in Council.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Juanita R. Phillips; three daughters, Jan P. Midura of Winston-Salem, Wanda Phillips of Kenansville and Linda P. Metcalfe of Pinehurst; three sons, R.H. Phillips Jr. and Michael Phillips, both of Clinton, and Gene Phillips of Willard; two sisters, Erline P. Evans and Leona P. Freeman, both of Elizabethtown; a brother, Afton Phillips of Council; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Jack H. Scott IV

RALEIGH -- Jack Hillman Scott IV, infant son of Jack H. and Suzanne M. Scott III, of Raleigh died Sunday in Raleigh Community Hospital.
A private graveside service will be conducted Thursday in Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum by the Rev. Robert Albritton. Arrangements are being handled by Brown-Wynne Funeral Home.
Among Jack’s survivors are his maternal grandparents, Kenneth Moore and Sandra Bruton, both of Fayetteville; and his maternal great-grandparents, Raymond Moore and Margaret Bruton, both of Fayetteville.
Quessie P. Stephens

LUMBERTON -- Mrs. Quessie Pittman Stephens, 90, of Carrolton Nursing Center died Monday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Stephens was a member of Centerville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Centerville Baptist Church by the Rev. Ed Wilcox. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Fairmont.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by two sisters, Mary Belle Edmunds of Lumberton and Lydia Warwick of Carolina Beach.

Wendell Holmes Phillips, 67, of 2833 Briarcreek Place, Fayetteville, died Sunday in Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
Mr. Phillips was a member of Village Baptist Church. He was the co-owner of Tire Sales & Service Inc.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Village Baptist Church by Dr. Bruce Martin. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Hilda I. Phillips of the home; a son, Keith Phillips of Fayetteville; a daughter, Sharon Cheshire of Fayetteville; four sisters, Virginia Frazier of Austin, Texas, Bernice Jones of Toledo, Ohio, and Janet Tharp and Jane Young, both of Campbellsburg, Ky.; a brother, Howard Phillips Jr. of Louisville, Ky.; and four grandchildren.

Amelia McLaurin

Mrs. McLaurin is survived by four sons, Julius H. McLaurin, Calvin L. McLaurin, William McLaurin and Robert McLaurin; three daughters, Eva Shaw, Francine McLaurin and Maggie Wright; a brother, Alvis E. Dixon; 32 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

Robert L. Bloodworth

Retired Sgt. 1st Class Robert Leroy Bloodworth, 61, of 1708 Bixley Drive, Fayetteville, died Sunday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham.
Mr. Bloodworth was a member of Phoenix Lodge No. 8, York Rite Body, Cumberland County Shrine Club and the Sudan Temple. During his career, he was awarded the Bronze Star, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry and the Master Parachutist Badge.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel. Burial with military honors will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
Mr. Bloodworth is survived by his wife, Martha S. Bloodworth of the home; his mother, Maybelle Hartley of Orlando, Fla.; and a half brother, Harold Bloodworth of Tilton, Ga.

Prentice Pruitt Jr.

Prentice Pruitt Jr., 51, of 3-B Hyde Place, Fayetteville, died Friday in his home.
Mr. Pruitt worked for the Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department as an athletic director for 17 years before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Wiseman Mortuary chapel by the Rev. Calvin Brewington. Burial will be in Cross Creek Cemetery No. 4.
Mr. Pruitt is survived by three children, Edward G. Humphrey, Prentice Pruitt III and Love G. Pruitt, all of Fayetteville; his mother, Willie M. Pruitt of Fayetteville; three sisters, Sally M. Solomon of Jersey City, N.J., and Brenda R. Moses and Barbara J. Pruitt, both of Fayetteville; and a grandchild.
