LAURINBURG -- Ms. Deborah Reshell Hill, 29, of 21441 McLaughlin Road died Friday in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church in Wagram by the Rev. S.C. Fairley. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Ms. Hill is survived by a son, Tyler R. McRae of Wagram; her parents, Shirley A. and Jimmy McNeill of Wagram; and her maternal grandmother, Ester H. McLeod of Wagram.

The public will be received Monday from 3 to 7:30 p.m. at Jackson Funeral Home.

LaRuth M. Hall (dated Sunday, September 12, 1999)

SELMA -- Ms. LaRuth Maxwell Hall, 41, of 1115 Church St. died Thursday in her home.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Anderson Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church in Linden by the Rev. Purdie Elliott. Burial will be in McLean Cemetery in Bunnlevel.

Ms. Hall is survived by three sons, Eric Pettaway, Donte Pettaway and Tevin Maxwell, all of the home; two sisters, Mary Chapman of Erwin and Lizzie West of Spring Lake; and six brothers, Danny Maxwell of Fuquay-Varina, Woodrow Maxwell and David Maxwell, both of Angier, James Maxwell of Baltimore, Charles Maxwell of Munchen, Germany, and Alfonzo Maxwell of Florida.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Dafford Funeral Home chapel in Dunn.

Doris L. Green (dated Sunday, September 12, 1999)

Mrs. Doris Lee Green, 70, of 145 Salmon Drive, Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mrs. Green was a homemaker.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Reeves Funeral Home chapel in Hope Mills by the Rev. D.C. Jackson. Burial will be in Culbreth Cemetery.

Mrs. Green is survived by two sons, Jimmy McIntyre of Autryville and Johnny Green of Fayetteville; two brothers, Haywood S. McIntyre Jr. and Frankie McIntyre, both of Fayetteville; four sisters, Mary Lou Jackson and Peggy Phipps, both of Fayetteville, Judy Willard of Parkton and Lib Bolden of Siler City; and two granddaughters.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Callie A. Garrett (dated Sunday, September 12, 1999)

SANFORD -- Ms. Callie Ashley Garrett, 90, of 2906 Jefferson Davis Highway died Saturday in Keller’s Oak Haven.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Ronald Shoen. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.

Ms. Garrett is survived by two sons, James W. Garrett and Wiley T. Garrett, both of Sanford; two daughters, Lola F. Cox and Betty A. Smith, both of Sanford; two sisters, Ella Tippett of Sanford and Estelle Rhew of Durham; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Sgt. Eric T. Ellingson (dated Sunday, September 12, 1999)

RAEFORD -- Army Sgt. Eric Travis Ellingson, 23, of 107 Proclamation Drive died Wednesday.

Sgt. Ellingson was a member of the 82nd Airborne and was a Green Beret.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Smith West Chapel in Billings, Mont., by Chaplain Ira Houck. Burial with military honors will be in Terrace Gardens Cemetery.

Sgt. Ellingson is survived by his wife, Stephanie A. Ellingson of Raeford; his parents, Dale and Benita Nagel of Billings; a sister, Jodi Emborg of Billings; and his grandparents, Ron and Lois Ellingson and Richard and Ann Nagel of Billings.

The public will be received today beginning at 1 p.m. and Monday at the Smith Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Mattie Bostick Everette, 85, of Fayetteville, is also survived by a brother, Horace Bostick of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a sister, Maggie Terry of Gibson.

Martha B. Bell (dated Sunday, September 12, 1999)

LUMBERTON -- Ms. Martha Brewer Bell, 71, of 1903 Lambert Road died Friday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in Liberty Holiness Church by the Revs. James M. Bell, Mark Phillips and James D. Spaulding. Burial will be in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Bell is survived by four sons, Samuel D. Bell, James L. Bell and George F. Strickland, all of Lumberton, and Jerry M. Bell of Red Springs; a daughter, Rose Marie B. Sanderson of Lumberton; three brothers, Russell ‘‘T.B.’’ Brewer and Howard ‘‘Pete’’ Brewer, both of Lumberton, and Franklin ‘‘King’’ Brewer of Pendleton, Ore.; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory.

Ms. Loretta J. Barnhart

(dated Tuesday, April 27, 1999)
RAEFORD -- Ms. Loretta Jean Barnhart, 37, of 245 Montrose Road died Saturday.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Avery’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church by elder Stanley A. Williams Jr. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Ms. Barnhart is survived by three sons, Joseph Barnhart of Norfolk, Va., and Torrey Barnhart and Timothy Barnhart, both of Raeford; her parents, McCoy and Mildred Vinson of Norfolk; three brothers, Lacy Barnhart Jr. of Jackson, Tony Barnhart of Washington, D.C., and Michael Vinson of Norfolk; a sister, Deborah Dillard of Norfolk; and her grandmother, Cletis McNatt of Washington.

The public will be received tonight from 7 to 8 at Purcell Funeral Home.

James ‘Pee Wee’ Williams
(dated Tuesday, April 27, 1999)
SHANNON -- James Robert ‘‘Pee Wee’’ Williams, 50, of Shannon died Sunday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Freedom Assembly of God Church by the Revs. Montana Locklear, Hedrick Jones and Eric Rich. Burial will be in Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Frances Williams of Shannon; a daughter, Ellen M. Williams of the home; two stepsons, Michael Oxendine and Brian Oxendine, both of the home; a brother, Dennis Jones of Red Springs; and two sisters, Terry Jones and Deborah Bullock, both of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Crumpler Funeral Home.

Ms. Patricia A. Dalziel

(dated Tuesday, April 27, 1999)
RED SPRINGS -- Ms. Patricia Ann Dalziel, 55, of 220 N. Edinborough Ave. died Monday in Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

Ms. Dalziel was a nurse. She worked for Lumberton High School.

The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Red Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. T.B. Henry. Burial will be in Alloway Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Crumpler Funeral Home.

Ms. Dalziel is survived by two daughters, Tammy W. Chavis of Vanceboro and Kayla L. Dalziel of the home; her mother, Elsie Egan of Red Springs; a brother, Thomas Egan Jr. of Pinehurst; a sister, Mary E. McMillan of Pinehurst; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the church.

Robert E. Collins

(dated Tuesday, April 27, 1999)
CLINTON -- Robert Ellis Collins, 66, of 217 Stewart Ave. died Monday in Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Mr. Collins was a member of First Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Coast Guard veteran.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Methodist Church by Dr. Homer Morris. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Clinton City Cemetery.

Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Lois S. Collins of Clinton; a daughter, Vicky C. Neill of High Point; a son, Gary Collins of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mary Roberson of Washington; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

Robert F. Skeehan

SANFORD -- Robert F. Skeehan, 73, of Sanford died Sunday in Central Carolina Hospital.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Stephen Catholic Church.

Mr. Skeehan is survived by his wife, Katie Skeehan of Sanford; two daughters, Teresa Stewart of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Judith Walther of Schaumburg, Ill.; three sons, Stephen Skeehan of Mundelein, Ill., Dr. Thomas Skeehan of Hershey, Pa., and Mark Skeehan of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Dr. Raymond Skeehan of Denver and Charles Skeehan of Raywick, Ky.; and 11 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rogers-Pickard Funeral Home.

Richard W. Pockmire

(dated Tuesday, April 27, 1999)
PINEHURST -- Richard Wilfred ‘‘Dick’’ Pockmire, 80, of Pinehurst died Saturday in his home.

Mr. Pockmire was the vice president and manager for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. before retiring. He was a World War II veteran.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today in Village Chapel by Chaplains Edward Galloway and Henry Duncan. Arrangements are being handled by Boles Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mr. Pockmire is survived by his wife, Dorothy Pockmire of Pinehurst; a son, James Pockmire of Cleveland; a daughter, Susan Pockmire of Southern Pines; a brother, Raymond Pockmire of Toledo, Ohio; and three grandchildren.

George C. Timmerman

STANLEY-- George Carlton Timmerman, 93, of Stanley Total Living Center, formerly of Fayetteville, died Sunday in Gaston Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Ranlo Church of God by the Revs. Paul Collins, Joe Heffner, Steve Anderson and Jack Ford and Dr. Donnie Smith. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by Greene Funeral Service.

Mr. Timmerman is survived by his wife, Birdell C. Timmerman of Lowell; two sons, James Timmerman of Hendersonville and Ben Timmerman of Burlington; three daughters, Narvis Patterson of Anderson, S.C., Gelena Dawes of Stanley and Florence Bass of Charlotte; three brothers, Curtis Timmerman, Ray Timmerman and Allen Timmerman, all of Greenville, S.C.; three sisters, Cleora Arthurs of Newberry, S.C., Cornelia Gunter of Anderson and Laura Fortner of Greenwood; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Nathaniel McCallum

ROWLAND -- Nathaniel B.T. McCallum, 74, of 308 Hickory St. died Sunday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville.
