ROBBINS -- Ralph Eugene Coker, 84, of 5056 N.C. 705 North died Thursday in Manor Care Health Center in Pinehurst.
Mr. Coker was a member of First Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church by the Rev. Ernest Ferrell. Burial will be in Pine Rest Cemetery.
Mr. Coker is survived by his wife, Lena M. Coker of the home; two daughters, Shirley C. Mashburn of High Falls and Gail C. Haworth of Greensboro; two sons, Eugene G. Coker of Westmore and Farrell D. Coker of Greensboro; a sister, Louise C. Allred of Ramseur; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Ms. Ginger C. Armitage (dated Saturday, July 24, 1999)
AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Ms. Ginger Colvin Armitage, 53, of 2328 Longleaf Lane died Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Hillcrest Memorial Park by Dr. John Bryan. Arrangements are being handled by Platt’s Funeral Home.
Among Ms. Armitage’s survivors are her mother, Frances E. Colvin of Fayetteville, N.C.; and a sister, Mamie Bundy of Fayetteville.

LILLINGTON -- Jathan Barrett, 80, of Route 5 Bailey-Way Road died Thursday in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday in Lillington Star Reformed Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. Michael Rogers. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Barrett is survived by a son, Jathan Barrett Jr. of Hickory.

Miss Stewart is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Ms. Sara Brooks Nair James, 76, of Spartanburg, formerly of Hamlet, N.C., died Thursday.
Ms. James was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg, N.C. by the Rev. E. Douglas Vaughan. Arrangements are being handled by McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
Ms. James is survived by five daughters, Dr. Sally N. James of Staunton, Va., Betty J. Montgomery of Spartanburg, Lillian J. Smith of Wilmington, N.C., Virginia J. Shelley of Concord, N.C., and Janet M. James of Raleigh, N.C.; and 12 grandchildren.

DUNN -- Harold Stuart Turlington, of Dunn died Friday in his home.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Skinner Funeral Home chapel by the Revs. Randy Barker and Joseph Ammons. A private burial will be at a later date.
Mr. Turlington is survived by a daughter, June D. Irwin of Enterprise, Ala.; four stepdaughters, Hazel Byrd of Erwin, Edie Rich of Dunn, Joan Stone of Greensboro, and Janie Gonzales of Fayetteville; a son, Harold S. Turlington Jr. of Dunn; two stepson, Dough Lee and Brent Lee, both of Dunn; a sister, Thelma Wilson of Raleigh; a brother, Dr. Eastwood G. Turlington of Rochester, Minn.; and 13 grandchildren.

Mrs. Parker is survived by two sons, Joseph Parker and Bertin L. Parker, both of Lumberton; three daughters, Mary Suggs, Helen Phillips and Lydia ‘‘Dolly’’ Kinlaw, all of Lumberton; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his parents, Robert and Linda Little of Rockingham; three sisters, Marsha Ingram and Cathy Nelson, both of Rockingham, and Natasha Turner of High Point; two brothers, Joerail Little of Rockingham and Robert Little Jr. of South Carolina; and his grandmother, Martha Nelson.

CHARLOTTE -- J.P. Jenrette, 85, of Wilora Lake Health Care, formerly of Robeson County, died Friday.
Mr. Jenrette was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Asheville. He was a marketing supervisor with the Department of Agriculture before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Olivet United Methodist Church in Marietta by the Rev. Deborah Watson. Burial will be in Olivet Cemetery. Arangements are being handled by Prevatte Funeral Home.
Mr. Jenrette is survived by his wife, Alice C. Jenrette of Plant City, Fla.; three sons, William T. Jenrette of Asheville, Julius P. Jenrette Jr. of Burlington and James R. Jenrette of Atlanta; a daughter, Betty J. Bradford of Charlotte; a brother, Thomas S. Jenrette of Galax, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday before the service at the church.
