Henry B. Locklear (dated Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997)
PEMBROKE -- Henry B. Locklear, 73, of Route 2 died Friday in Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Revels Funeral Home chapel by the Revs. Crites Oxendine and Truman Chavis. Burial will be in the Locklear family cemetery.
Mr. Locklear is survived by his wife, Julie L. Locklear of the home; three sons, Arnold Locklear of Georgia, Gary Locklear of Michigan and Dewayne Locklear of Charlotte; four daughters, Carolyn Barton and Ellen Locklear, both of Pembroke, Judy Pardon of Charlotte and Evonda Locklear of York, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mary K. Bellamy (dated Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997)
FAIRMONT -- Mrs. Mary Grace Kinlaw Bellamy, 70, of 3578 N.C. 41 S. died Monday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Mrs. Gladys S. Thomas (dated Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997)
Mrs. Gladys Sexton Thomas, 74, of Fayetteville died Sunday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
She was a retired civil service employee on Fort Bragg and was past president of the Ladies Auxilliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 670.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be in Harnett Memorial Cemetery in Lillington.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by a son, Tom Thomas of Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Tom Thomas, 6354 Rannock Drive, Fayetteville.
Mrs. Ruby R. Fryar (dated Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997)
CLINTON -- Mrs. Ruby Mae Rose Fryar, 75, of 8611 Garland Highway died Monday in Sampson Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a retired seamstress.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church by the Revs. Odell Peterson, Billy Bass and Jimmy Flowers. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fryar is survived by a daughter, Elsie M. Alphin of Clinton; a son, the Rev. James E. Beasley of Roseboro; a brother, Carlyle Rose Sr. of Clinton; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Royal-Hall Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

HOPE MILLS -- Retired Army Master Sgt. David Wilson Coleman Sr., 55, of 3575 Pioneer Drive died Sunday in his home.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired civil service employee of the Materials Maintenance Branch on Fort Bragg.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Adcock Funeral Home chapel in Spring Lake. Burial with full military honors will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Ruth H. Coleman of the home; a son, David W. Coleman Jr. of Lumber Bridge; two daughters, Linda Catlin and Sandra Corriveau, both of Hope Mills; two brothers, William I. Coleman Jr. and George R. Carlton, both of Wilmington; two sisters, Vera Barnhill and Cynthia Brown, both of Wilmington; and six grandchildren.

SPRING LAKE -- Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Ulysses Lawson, 68, of Goodyear Drive died Friday in Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wiseman Mortuary chapel in Fayetteville by the Revs. Willard Stephens and Buddy McKinnon. Burial with full military honors will be the Main Post Cemetery on Fort Bragg.
Mr. Lawson is survived by his wife, Fannie Lawson of Greensboro; eight sons, James Lawson of Anaheim, Calif., James Lawson II, Ulysses Riggins and James Riggins, all of Fayetteville, Eugene Lawson and Don King, both of Baltimore, Dexter Riggins of Greensboro and Carven Stephens of Elizabethtown; three daughters, Ursula Bryant of Anaheim, and Kurl Brown and Bernita Riggins, both of Fayetteville; 24 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Milton Lee Walters Jr., 75, of 834 Anarine Road, Fayetteville, died Monday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Walters is survived by a sister, Myrtle W. Bridges of Raleigh.
