Ralph Causby
Funeral services for Ralph Bennett Causby, 90, of 383 Park Road, Albemarle, were held August 8 at First Baptist Church in Albemarle, Rev. Harold McDonald officiating. Mr. Causby died on August 6, 2000 at Britthaven of Piedmont. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Park, Albemarle.
He was born on October 9, 1909 in Burke County, son of Florence Elmetta Burnett and George Ervin Causby. He was a retired salesman for Allstar Mills.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine C. Causby of Albemarle; son, George B. Causby of Raleigh; and sister, Bonnie Lyerly of Raleigh; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church building fund, 202 North Second Street, Albemarle, N.C. 28001.
Mary Kohman
Funeral services for Mary Kowalski Kohman, 84, of 12325 Highway 601 South, Midland, will be held today at St. James Catholic Church, Concord, Father Joseph Gorney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kohman died on August 5, 2000 at Stanly Memorial Hospital. She was born on Aporil 18, 1916 in Nahancy, Pa., daughter of Thomas and Tekla Kulbaba Kowalski. She was a homemaker who attend St. James.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick William Kohman. Surviving are her sisters, Ann Bacyrski of Warrin, Mich., and Mrs. Roberta Nessher of Edison, N.J.

Cornelia Smith
Funeral services for J V Cornelia Kimrey Smith, 77, of 1131 Pee Dee Ave., Albemarle, were held August 5, 2000, at North Albemarle Baptist Church with Dr. Grady Taylor and the Rev. Wyman Bolin presiding.
Burial was in New London cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died August 2, 2000, at Stanly Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 22, 1922, in Stanly County, daughter of Carrie and William Kimrey. Mrs. Smith was a retired winder with American & Efird Mills and a member of North Albemarle Baptist Church. She was married
to the late Pearl Smith.
Survivors include brother, Raymond Kimrey of Albemarle; sister, Marie Owen of New London; grandson, Shannon Fast, and great-grandson, Dalton Fast, both of New London.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by son, Howell Ray Smith.
Odessa Trull
Funeral services for Odessa Fink Trull, 80, of 10225 Pleasant Rd., Midland, were held August 3, 2000, at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Ziegler presiding.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Trull died August 1, 2000, at NorthEast Medical Center in Concord.
She was born April 27, 1920, in Cabarrus County, daughter of Noah and Lectie Fink. Mrs. Trull was a retired inspector with Allison Mfg. in Stanfield and a member of Kinza Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, Henry Trull, of the home; son, Gene Teeter of Oakboro; daughter, Martha Strickland of Conehatta, Miss.; sisters, Evelyn Furr of Stanfield, Atha Love of Albemarle, and Ila Martin of Charlotte; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Mamie Pigg
Funeral services for Mamie Reid Pigg, 83, of 12270 Bethel Church Rd, Midland, were held August 7, 2000, at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Charlotte with the Rev. Dennis Benton and the Rev. Reece Riegin presiding.
Burial was in Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Mrs. Pigg died August 4, 2000, at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis.
She was born October 25, 1916, in Stanly County, daughter of Clarence and Anna Reid. She was a self-employed beautician and a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, Oakley G. Pigg, of the home; sons, Buddy Pigg and Tim Pigg, both of Lincolnton; brothers, Billy Reid, Joe Reid and Earl Reid, all of Kannapolis; sisters, Blanche Riddle of Kannapolis and Geraldine Lackey of China Grove; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Lois Little
Funeral services for Lois Margan Little, 86, of 12650 Hwy. 601 South, Midland, were held August 5, 2000, at Hartsell Chapel, Midland, with the Rev. Thomas Gibbs presiding.
Burial was in First Baptist Church, Midland.
Mrs. Little died August 3, 2000, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
She was born May 28, 1914, in Stanly County, daughter of Drew and Arminta Morgan. Mrs. Little was owner and operator of Little's Florist in Midland. She was married
to the late Howard "Bud" Little.
Survivors include daughter, Margaret and husband Loyd Efird of Midland and Betty and Husband C.P. Hatley of Concord; sister, Annie Mae Carpenter of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Scott Helms, Eric Twitty, Chris Hatley, Jeff Hatley, Jimmy Garbell and Gary Foard.

Annyce Worsham
Annyce Leigh Worsham died August 6, 2000 at the Lutheran Nursing Home in Albemarle, where she was a resident for the last few years.
She was a native of Ruffin and the daughter of William Jefferson and Mattie Fitzgerald Worsham.
Graveside services will be held today at the family grave at the Ruffin Cemetery at 11 am with Rev. Daniel V. Miller of the Ruffin Methodist Church presiding. Miss Worsham was a member of the church and a resident of Albemarle for over 60 years, where she taught piano until her 92nd year.
Miss Worsham attended school in the Ruffin schools and received summer tutoring from her mother, studying Latin, French, English and music. She graduated from Greensboro College earning a bachelor of music degree and later studied in New York at the Juilliard School of Music, the Peabody Institute, and the Chicago Musical College.
While teaching music in Albemarle, she organized a chapter of the National Guild of Piano Teachers, was a faculty member of the guild, and served two terms as president of the North Carolina unit of the guild. she has taught many students in Albemarle and many have become concert artists.
Surviving are a niece, Mrs. James Chandler of Carmel, Ind.; and three nephews, Fred H. Moore Jr. of Orange Park, Fla.; William W. Moore of Cranberry; and Charles J. Moore of Washington, N.C.
The family received friends Tuesday night at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle and will be at 119 Worsham Mill Road, Ruffin, following the service.
