Lucille Jones
DURHAM, N.C. - Lucille Hoffler Jones, 85, died Friday in Bowie, Md.
A native of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Mary Pearl Jones and Earl V. Hoffler.
She lived in Durham from early childhood, and was educated in the Durham city schools.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker most of her life, though she was a teacher's aid in later years at Morehead Elementary School in Durham.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jones was devoted to her church, community activities and her friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Charlotte J. Jones and husband, Phillip L. of Bowie, Md., and Barbara J. Mills and husband, Avery B. Sr. of Danville, Va.; her sisters, Doris H. Pickett and Evelyn H. Anderson, both of Durham, Edna H. Dimmock of Vienna and Hazel H. Shinnamon of Cumberland, Md.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Watson Jones in 1992.
The funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday from the Hall-Wynne Chapel in Durham. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends will be received 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.

Alfred Randolph Jr.
YANCEYVILLE, N.C. - Alfred Leon Randolph Jr., 4553 Hodges Dairy Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 1997, at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital in Reidsville.
Born Jan. 7, 1975, he was a son of the Rev. Alfred Randolph Sr. and Felicia Slade Randolph, who survive.
He was a member of Christian Faith Center in Creedmore.
In addition to his parents of Yanceyville, survivors include a son, Kendric Randolph of Yanceyville; a brother, Samuel L. Randolph of Yanceyville; a sister, Melissa R. Slade of Yanceyville; and his grandmother, Darlene Slade Richardson of Yanceyville.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Grove Memorial Building in Yanceyville by the Rev. Alfred Leon Randolph Sr. Burial will be in Sassafras Groves Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Sunday at Fulton Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
Rosemary Pennington
REIDSVILLE, N.C. - Rosemary Neighbors Zimmerman Pennington, 62, of 741 Wrenn Crumpton Road, Roxboro, and formerly of 1341 Wentworth St., Reidsville, died Friday, Sept. 26, 1997, at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill.
A native of Reidsville, she was a daughter of Charlie Fred Neighbors and Thelma Rice Neighbors. She had lived in Falls Church, Va., before moving to Roxboro in 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of the Burlington Road Church of Christ in Roxboro. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse T. Zimmerman Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Robert M. Pennington of Falls Church; a son, Jesse T. Zimmerman Jr. of Wentworth; a stepson, Robert M. Pennington Jr. of Falls Church; two daughters, Rosemarie Z. Williams of Roxboro and Jane Z. Foster of Reidsville; a stepdaughter, Mary Frances Pennington of Chicago; and six grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Mann, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Caswell County.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Citty Funeral Home in Reidsville and at other times will be at the home of her daughter, Jane Z. Foster, 302 Acme St., Reidsville.
Elizabeth Stanley
RUFFIN, N.C. - A graveside service for Elizabeth Watlington Stanley, 81, 231 Williamson Creek Road, will be conducted 2 p.m. today at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Loy Kennedy.
She died Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 1, 1997, at Danville Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 4, 1916, in Chatham, Va., she was the daughter of Perry Watlington and Pattie Davis Watlington.
On April 5, 1958, she was married
to William Oliver Stanley, who survives.
Since 1958, she had made her home in the Mayfield community of North Carolina.
She retired at the age of 62 from Dan River Inc. and was a member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the retired ladies club of Design Department, Dan River, Inc.
In addition to her husband of the residence, survivors include three sons, Jack Stanley and Jimmy Stanley, both of the Mayfield community, and Doug Stanley of Summerfield; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, Jimmy Watlington.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Emma Ingram
YANCEYVILLE, N.C. - Mrs. Emma Wilson Ingram, 72, of 4938 U.S. 86-N, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 1997, at her residence.
Born June 24, 1925, in Caswell County, N.C., she was a daughter of Roy Wilson and Elizabeth Powell Wilson.
She was married
to Virgil Ingram, who survives.
She worked for the YMCA in the housekeeping department for many years.
In addition to her husband of the residence, survivors include one daughter, Annette Oliver of Yanceyville; one foster son, Kenneth Ingram of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Jones Warner of Yanceyville; one brother, Charlie Wilson of Pelham, N.C.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. Paul Andrew Jackson. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Eckie Wade
PROVIDENCE, N.C. - Eckie Everett Wade, 92, of 71 Easy St., died Friday evening, Oct. 3, 1997, at his residence.
Born Aug. 23, 1905, in Franklin County, Va., he was a son of John Henry Wade and Martha Ann Cannady Wade.
He was married
to Lala Ingram Wade, who survives.
He had spent most of his life in Franklin County, Va., and the Providence area.
He was retired from the Virginia-Carolina Veneer Plywood Co.
He was also of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife of the residence, survivors include one son, Jimmy Wade of Danville; two daughters, Marie Bledsoe and Shirley Strader, both of Providence; one brother, Tom Wade of Ferrum, Va.; one sister, Blanche Supthin of Roanoke, Va.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at Danville Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Hylton Lawrence.
The family will be at the residence.

Ammuel Green
BREVARD, N.C. - Ammuel Basil Green, 69, of Middle Fork Road, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 1997, at his residence.
A native of Danville, Va., he was the son of Henry Allen Green and Eva Davis Green.
He was married
to Arlene Green.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Cindy Coleman of Brevard; four sisters, Bernice Green, Peggy Henson, Barbara Burke and Joyce Goad, all of Danville, Va.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home by the Rev. Ralph Pressley. Burial will follow in Pisyah Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, Brevard.
Eckie Wade

Haywood Cobb
RUFFIN, N.C. - Julius Haywood Cobb, 68, 3171 Ashland Road, died Monday, Oct. 6, 1997, at his residence. He had been in declining health for several years.
A native of Caswell County, he was the son of Julius and Laura Somers Cobb.
He was married
to Nancy Totten Cobb, who survives.
He attended Caswell County schools, and was a retired tobacco auctioneer and farmer.
He was a member of Lively Stones Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife of the residence, survivors include four daughters, Peggy Worley of Yanceyville and Wendy Tickle, Susan McKinney and Lisa Walker, all of Reidsville; four sons, Ronnie Cobb, Guy Cobb, Ricky Cobb and Rocky Cobb, all of Ruffin; four sisters, Nannie C. Page and Warnell C. Tatum, both of Ruffin, Edna C. Willett of Sanford and Hazel C. Chilton of Reidsville; and 12 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church by the Rev. Michael Kent and the Rev. Richard DeHart.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 tonight at Hooper Funeral Home in Yanceyville.
